• Ann (10/5): Wonderful find for short stay - Quiet location on a residential road, yet only minutes from the M3. It was a convenient overnight stop for us. Everything was clean and thought had been given to what guests may need. E.g. umbrellas were provided for longer stays. The bed was comfortable, and tea/coffee/milk was provided. Also, a good selection of toiletries beyond what I expected. (Conditioner, body lotion, and deodorant in addition to hand wash, shampoo, and shower gel). I would say only suitable for single travellers or couples as toilet/bathroom in same room. But that is clear from the description. Fridge can be a little noisy when it starts up in the night, but that didn't spoil our stay.

• Paul (8/5): Good location and hosts. - Great communication about how to get into the chalet. Room was comfortable, lovely furnishings and decor. Water, milk and tea/ coffee making facilities available which was a nice touch. We would stay again.
• beccy (9/5): Super lovely stay - Dawn is so incredibly friendly and helpful. Very easy to talk to and ask any questions. The shops, restaurants, cafes are only ten minutes away. Lexi, the lovely doggy is super lovely and welcoming! The bed is very comfy. It can be a bit bright in the morning so if you're a light sleeper bring an eye mask.

• Annik (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, lovely space, bed was very comfortable. Lovely little garden and sitting corner. I had all the amenities I needed. The host was friendly and it was easy to come and go. I would definitely stay there again if I needed to stay a night in the area again. Not sure about the toilet in the same space as everything else, but for me, as a solo traveller, there was no issue and definitely will not downgrade the chalet for this.

• Natalie (10/5): Highly Reccomend - The Chalet was extremely cozy, and the hosts had thought of everything. Clean, warm, comfortable, and beautiful decor. My Daughter and I felt extremely welcome, and we would stay there again. We went to the Christmas Market and this location is not far with the South park and ride, but nicely out of the way from the busy town centre. Ticked all the boxes for us. Oh, and the bed was extremely comfortable - always a bonus! Thank you, Dawn, for an extremely comfortable stay.
• Sara (9/5): Excellent facilities in a central, quiet location. - Lovely cosy space, ideally located for travel to Winchester and Southampton. Comfortable bed and great tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely bath and shower. It was obvious from the description and photos, but the toilet in the bedroom took a bit of getting used to.

• Marion (9/5): Wonderful experience . - We booked overnight as we were at a conference in town the next day. Excellent location for driving into town , took 10 mins door to door! No breakfast was booked, unable to say if any could have been provided as we didn't ask. Parking on road outside property, no issues plenty of space. Met on arrival by Host, extremely pleasant. Greeted also by retriever dog. Chalet in secure location within their property. extremely pretty, lovely decoration. lights and garden light. We were informed that there was underfloor heating and a fan heater was available too TV and internet. Fully equipped with various teas, coffee, toiletries, clean towels & bedding. Thoughtfully equipped with Kettle, mugs, knives ,forks, spoons &plates. The chalet being open plan was tastefully partitioned with a screen in the toileting aspect with a modern bath. If I had been booking it as a individual , sole traveller then all would have been 100%, just the toilet lack of privacy , would lower the perfect score.

• Guy (10/5): Dawn has stocked the room with everything you need for a nights stay. - Standard of finish is top dollar, pictures don’t do it justice. Lovely bed we both had a good nights sleep. Will be revisiting again. Nothing to put here.
• Charles (9/5): Warm welcome - Very nice chalet, a very warm welcome from Dawn. Well equipped with lots of tea and coffee facilities. Various food outlets very local. Not keen on the toilet facilities being in the bedroom, when a stud wall could make the bathroom en suite and provide privacy.

• Simon (10/5): Lovely accomodation - We booked The Chalet as a stop over to catching the ferry from Portsmouth, we couldn't have asked for better Dawn and her husband are such lovely hosts and Lexi the very friendly dog. The chalet is just lovely all you need very clean and comfortable. Its in the back garden of Dawns bungalow with trees around felt like being in the countryside. Dawn gave us all information we needed telling us of a lovely restaurant just 5 minutes away. Also in the same area was a great cafe for the most wonderful breakfast. You park the car on the street directly outside the property, but its very quiet and feels very safe, we left our holiday luggage in the car and were not worried about it. We would certainly stay again.

Very useful for loading phones and IPad. And a lovely garden. There was no breakfast provided. No problem for us, since there was a lovely Josie’s in the vicinity to provide us with a full English breakfast. So there really was not anything we did not like.

They were very welcoming, nice, polite, always available in case we needed anything. Furthermore, the chalet is so cute and so clean as well!!! They also provide loads of products such as perfume, body cream, snacks😍 Thank you! We would love to come back! And lovely meeting them as well. They seem great people and truly put effort in what they do.
• Peter (10/5): A Home from Home - Excellent well equipped truly self contained. A charming considerate host who is determined to make her guests stay a delight. Just a few minutes from Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital I extended my stay to 4 nights. Although there was a good provision of clothes hanging facilities my longer stay could have used a shelf for clothes too. Now that is being very picky.
• Michael (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable large bed, plenty of comforable seating. Fridge plus plenty of good quality tea, coffee & milk available. Helpfull & friendly owners. We only needed a bed for one night but would be happy to stay for longer break. Nice garden & chairs and very good security. A bit dusty.

• Michael (10/5): If you must be away from home, it can - All the facilities were excellent, tea and coffee making with fridge were available, but no breakfast. The room was very tastefully decorated and furnished and practically brand new. It was an ideal location for me to stay, quite close to the Nuffield Health hospital at Chandlers Ford where my wife was staying in overnight, 29 minutes walk, but no time in a car. My host was very friendly and helpful. I have no negative comments at all.
• Clare (10/5): Dawn super welcoming and friendly and even dropped me off at the hospital to visit my husband !!! - Had breakfast at Rosie’s local friendly cafe a short walk away Slept like a log after enjoying a lazy bath and lovely toiletries Chalet warm and very cosey ! It was a perfect stay A Lot of attention to detail Very secure and safe too .
