- Smith (8/5): - Had such a great stay at Hotel Millenia. The pool area was absolutely beautiful and the views from every part of the hotel were amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Such a relaxing atmosphere and a great place to unwind — would definitely stay again! Only down side to the stay was the beds were way to firm
- Sabu (1/5): Good location for a short stay only. But staff are a bit dodgy. - Location Staff that clean rooms are removing personal belongings.
- Tafeaga (10/5): -
- Clinch-phillips (10/5): Relaxing - Close to everything , staff were great very nice and the pool is the cleanest !! There isn’t much I disliked maybe just that you can’t take away food because no microwave lol that’s just me
- Chelsi (10/5): -
- Deepak (10/5): It was great and nice staff - All good View
- CAROLYN (6/5): - The pool Not very private, not enough care taken in room amenities. No batteries in TV remote. Not enough towels supplied, had to ask
- Sefo (1/5): Will not be booking to stay here again - Not alot Mould in the bathroom
No room service
- Joan (10/5): -
- Amataga (4/5): - Pool Room
- Thomson (2/5): -
- Tuli (8/5): It was good. 80% - good Lack of communication for the heat pump. We got it there and report the heat pump was leaking, being stayed for five nights still not fixing it. Reported on the first day till the last but was no action.
- Zoe (7/5): Tidy and welcoming visit. Had what you needed. - The staff were so kind and happy and very welcoming, and the pool was great to have in the hot weather. The aircon was well used and needed. Not much, it wasn’t obvious what activities were happening around town and we missed a few things because we didn’t read the book in the room early enough.
- Tautane Oliver (10/5): -
- Craig (8/5): -
- Mandy Siitia (4/5): It was fair for the price so for large family trips I would stay there again but not work trips - Room was not as nice as I expected for a deluxe room. The breakfast was very basic had no Island dishes like sua fai vaisale or koko laisa. The breakfast and dated room interior for a deluxe room
- Rayden (1/5): Staff were not nice and stayed ffor 19 days and only clean once not good at all - Seaside Not clean at all
- Mareta (5/5): - Breakfast was ok Would be good if you get someone to come & clean the pool daily, with the amount of people that swim in it, really needs to be clean daily
- Linda (3/5): grateful for our stay there but wouldn’t stay there again - location. the concierge boys were really amazing . friendly and helpful always room service was poor and/or unavailable
- Iorangi (8/5): really enjoyed it. safe and peaceful with helpful staff - Room - good but need some tables for working on inside room
Breakfast - more variety or options for the buffe but ok with the ordered one
pool - didn't get to use it, as under construction at the time can't think of any. all good.
- Faaivavale (9/5): -
- Alefaio (8/5): -
- Pekina (5/5): - Sliding door exits to pool area.
Beds comfortable Needed a little coffee table only had a plastic chair.
- Torres (8/5): I like the location.. - Need some real coffee.. breakfast is good. Fly in the morning..
- Makerita (7/5): - Like everything None
- Tuliga (4/5): -
- Rose (7/5): I loved staying there during the week. The aircon was amazing! However, it was just those small things that I think can - I love how close it is to the city. Easy access to the markets and local stores. Also the ocean, so there is always a natural sea breeze that comes through on real hot sunny days. I booked three rooms with Milenia, in all three rooms some of the lights weren’t working. My room didn’t have batteries for the tv remote so we couldn’t watch tv. Our fridge also didn’t have the shelving inside. It was empty. The pool was a big plus for us during our stay, but not too sure about the cleanliness. Just chlorine poured into the pool every night but not many filters?
- Hecka (10/5): Highly Recommend and overall awesome stay! - Great Staff all round & Great Location
- Jecintar (1/5): - Location was perfect. Staff was nice. The room was very dirty. Bathroom had a stong stench of urine, also very dirty. I requested to have the room cleaned on the first day of my stay however I was advised by the staff that cleaning was only done after every 3 days. Our stay was for 10 nights and the room was only cleaned once despite multiple requests to have it cleaned. There's no room service. There's barely anyone at the bar during the day however it takes a while to get your food order taken we had to go to the bar to order food even after ordering there's another long wait, over an hour to be exact for 3 plates of food. Ordering food closes at 2pm and it reopens at 5pm. Very disappointing, will never return to this hotel.
- Laine (2/5): Booked rooms in July 2025, specific request (elderly traveller). Ended in two seperate locations, staff member refused t - Close to Apia, good price at time of booking. Booked rooms 6mths ago and request was not honoured. They were happy to take a non refund payment but did not honour request due to medical reasons for elderly person on arrival.although stated ‘request confirmed’ online.
The young staff on arrival was advised by management to refund our deposit and go somewhere else (On 1st January? There nothing available).
Person we booked online with refused to come out to front desk to see me.
Appears staff have poor communication between booking online and talking to members of staff who breathe.
The person we booked with online was working but refused to see us about their mishap. Unprofessional. And then proceeded to make an excuse of a glitch on new online system. ( not the customer problem).
We had no option but to stay in two seperate rooms, on seperate floors. I managed my father cares daily from 2nd floor (inconvenient and unacceptable).
No cleaner seen in rooms stayed 3 nights.
$100 voucher given to spend at cafeteria.. declined offer. Request to use this on our room booking final payment.
- Jeslyn (10/5): - We where made to feel at home. Everyone was very friendly The only thing would be no hand towel
- Niusami Fuatia (7/5): Just a bit unnecessary things that needs to be professional, however the locations was perfect. - I loved where the Hotel located. We’ve been putting our paper outside the door to be cleaned but only had cleaned once, and we bought our toilet tissues 2-3x since no one filled in when we need our room to be cleaned,
People had meetings in the lounge while we were walking through the entrance to our rooms
Outiside people also came in and cell their ie lava lavas while we had morning tea, which wasn’t professional at all.
- Rosita (10/5): -
- SELITA (3/5): - Aircon, location Customer Service very bad
- NIGEL (10/5): - Clean and atmosphere was great
- Maire Doolan (4/5): - Nothing Pool was supposed to be finished tiling no pool as was expected very disappointed wouldn't go back 😔
- Elisapeta (10/5): - Beautiful hotel.. Good customer service experience.
Hotel nice and clean 👌 U had everything you need.. They have a good breakfast and bar, plus the club next to the hotel.. close to the town centre 5 minutes drive and 10 minutes walk and beautiful views to the sea..I'll will stay back to this hotel when I go back for holiday..Everything is all good 👍
- Iupati (10/5): - The service was great and very much appreciated and helpful There's nothing I don't like
- Lite (8/5): - We booked our stay two months in advance, specifically choosing this place for its pool and wifi. Unfortunately, we were informed just two days prior to our arrival that the pool was out of order. To make matters worse, the wifi was not available during our entire four-day stay. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and very helpful.
- Falefue (9/5): Close to the city, across from sea wall to chill , beautiful surroundings and friendly staff - Close to the city and ocean view Greenery and has the place for guest to chill
- Kathryn (6/5): - The view and free breakfast. No pool available. Very noisy on Friday night Saturday morning from other conference gathering.
- tepora (9/5): No comments. - Like the people really friendly. The food .
- Hellen (1/5): -
- Tusa (7/5): Good stay, met requirements for short trip, improvements can be made to add quality to visitors - Breakfast was good Pool was not available.
Television remote was missing & very limited channels
- Kumar (9/5): It was nice environment near to sea - Well set up Pool can’t used
- Peter (7/5): - We really enjoyed the service and the clean room when we first arrived. We also enjoyed the dinner that was served. Probably only the pool since we booked the hotel for the pool but overall it was great.
- Monica (7/5): - Location is good. Getting tired. Noisy at night.
- Eliza (2/5): Definitely won't be coming back. - The air con worked. This "hotel" resembled more of a motel. The wifi was slow, beds were uncomfortable, bathrooms were disgusting. This "hotel" needs to be upgraded, it's stuck in the 1970s.
- Diane (10/5): I would stay here again - - Very welcoming on arrival
- Parking on property
- Clean
- Nice complimentary breakfast
- Close to town
- Across from the waterfront where we went fishing - Customer service at the bar was a bit blah. I still smiled and thanked them though
- The pool was out of service due to maintenance
- Michael (6/5): Friendly stay in a great location. - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Management didn't respond to payment requests, and ultimately I was overcharged.
Also didn't like that they only told me that the swimming pool would be out of commission only after they had taken my deposit.
- Julia (7/5): Staff were friendly and helpful and overall, we enjoyed our stay. - Good location, air conditioning in bedrooms, spacious apartment and tea/coffee facilities provided. Breakfast included. The pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing for the kids! Also, not much available in the breakfast for gluten free requirements.
- Rosemary (5/5): If they improve service and tighten up staff, and gradually update repairs it will once again be a n - Average convenient hotel with unrealised potential if they tighten up staff service and security Door to outside only locks from inside - same as ~2 years ago - not hard to repair.
Pool empty - been like that for a while.
uncertain re household staffs reliability
- Tiare (7/5): - Location mainly There wasn't anything I didn't like really
- Elama (7/5): - The excellent staff service especially the location maybe with the pool not in service price should've dropped That the pool was not in service
- Sue (6/5): - I appreciated the good and quick communication from the hotel staff, a great shower and AC. The location is pleasant as it is not far from the city centre and is across from the harbour. Unfortunately the pool was out of order, which we were not told about prior to arriving. A pool was a major part of why we chose this hotel. The management however provided refunds for the last night or two for some of our group so they could stay somewhere that had a pool.
- Faamita (6/5): -
- Kathleen (4/5): Disappointing - no pool available. - The room was a good size. False advertising - We wanted accommodation with a pool so we could relax with our colleagues after work. So, we booked Millenia as it advertised that there was an outside pool available. Upon arrival and after paying cash for our room, we were advised that the pool was NOT available. Had we been advised prior to arrival we would have canceled the booking. When I wrote to the manager about this all we were offered was a 10tala bar tab per night which we did not use. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel.
- Terri (6/5): First time I’ve ever felt incensed to leave a negative review - Reasonably priced and good location for town. Pool was empty due to plans to be renovated. This was not explained on booking and I was very disappointed. No apology or compensation. It’s an hours drive to the nice beaches.
When we checked out at 4am for airport, they were rather rude and tried to charge us for 2 meals at restaurant (snack bar) when we only ate there once and definitely paid. As we had no receipts, they took the money out of our account without our consent.
Cups in room badly chipped, no glasses or teaspoon. Sounded like people above us were moving furniture and wearing heavy boots.
Won’t be returning
- Sinave (6/5): - Location Pool was broken and no one told us
- Pinati (10/5): -
- geoffrey (9/5): -
- Lynne (2/5): Poor - room was cool disappointed there was no pool after the website led us to believe there was a pool, it was being repaired. door to the balcony had a broken lock, shower was mouldy, breakfast minimal effort. w
- Miriam Gray (8/5): - The staff were so friendly and always happy to help
- Finau (10/5): -
- Suafa (1/5): - Nothing is exciting about our room, the air condition wasn't even working properly we have 2 mugs one of them has cracked on both top side so we report to front desk and we didn't get a replacement the 4 night we were there we left the light on cause there's mosquitos in room, so basically we just using only for sleeping and we out during the whole day like I said nothing is exciting about it and lasting breakfast always the same thing everyday nothing changes I dont recommend this hotel to anyone if you looking for accommodation in samoa please look elsewhere
- Asofa (10/5): - Everything 😍 in this hotel 🛏️ was extremely nice and beautiful ❤️ Nil
- Freda (9/5): -
- Faamata (7/5): - Clean rooms, friendly staff
- Robert (7/5): -
- Mauinatu (7/5): It was good but some improvement in Rooms that needs good value for money - The Breakfast was always the same food every morning and location was good, close to town The Facilities needs upgrade with furnitures and repairs especially the showers and Aircondition.
- Malia (8/5): Love it - The beautiful staff, location which is right behind n town The club next to it😁
- Ene (7/5): Maintenance and Upgrades - The location and the staff were amazing. The swimming pool needs maintenance and constant cleaning. It was too dirty to swim during our whole stay. My kids were looking forward to swimming, but sadly, it was too greenish and could not see the bottom from the dirt 😕 Also, for safety reasons, fence must install around the swimming pool to avoid the little kids running around the pool and playing outside from drowning.
Would be nice to have microwaves in the rooms to reheat food with some plates, bigger mugs, and cutlery for guests use. Avoid guests from coming over to the kitchen during busy hours.
Would be nice to have a foldable washing line for downstairs rooms to hang up wet clothes or maybe install fences like upstairs with an accessible door. This will also be used to hang up the wet clothes and provide extra privacy.
The beds are uncomfortable and need replacements.
Overall, our stay was good, and we will hopefully see a few changes in the future.
Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality 🙏
- Robert (6/5): -
- Joan (7/5): Overall, was a comfortable stay. Loved the hot water shower and the showers in the deluxe room was nice - Location, warm welcome from reception, friendly staff, Lack of cups/plates cutlery etc but was all good
- Mealofa (8/5): Good location -
- Keiana (10/5): Everything ok - Beautiful I don't think there's something idont like it
- Jenny (1/5): Disappointing experience, over priced - Location was good, on arrival for breakfast toast and peanut butter. Arrived at 4.00am, taxi driver drove off without giving us change after paying cash. Rooms in old part of the hotel, no blankets, no hot water, shower full of mould, no bottled water in room after long flight. Upgraded to new part of hotel. Had hot water, room very basic. No housekeeping for the entire stay, even though they provided the sign to place on the door handle when leaving for the day.
Amount of money we paid for the accommodation, you would expect more than a basic room. Need to drop the nightly rate to reflect the quality of the rooms.
Over all, disappointing experience and would not stay there again.
- Donna (8/5): Enjoyable - Pool, although needing some tile repairs, was great Was a tad noisy both nights as the restaurant (with entertainment) is nearby
- Kat (10/5): Exceptional - Staff very friendly and polite. Large clean rooms, great service when we arrived with shuttle (arranged by hotel) baggage taken to our room.! Able to hire cars from hotel at a affordable price. Restaurant, fish and chips the best I've had to date! Good selection of drinks.
Beautiful, maintained gardens!
- Carman (3/5): Never again - Location is close to town. This property needs upgrading big time. The pool is dangerous and im surprised no one got sick using it.
- Peti (10/5): Great comfortable and friendly staff -
- Barclay (8/5): Very good -
- Lefaoseu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tui (10/5): Met our expectations for our 5 night stay - Awesome place easy to find and parking close to accommodation which was added bonus. All was good
- Jojo (6/5): Needs TLC especially the pool. - Cleaners emptied room rubbish every day and topped toilet paper up.
Bar Staff customer service improved from last stays.
Food was good. My son loved the garlic bread for $6.
Helpful staff that helped with bags. (Great initiatives/service)
Air con was good.
Grateful I got room by the pool (son loves swimming). Pool is very run down, tiles broken, sharp objects in pool (we cleared out). WiFi not stable, although grateful finally had WiFi.
Room not cleaned once in the 5 nights we stayed (just rubbished cleared and toilet paper topped up).
Mold on walls and black mold on bathroom roof, sink area.
Very very basic breakfast.
Small as TV.
- Dita (5/5): Passable - Kids enjoyed pool, staff were friendly Place is rather run down and could do with proper clean
- Tala (8/5): We spend about $15000.00 Samoa tālā in this place but it’s money worth it and this will be the place for me and my famil - Location and the ocean view nice and close to the town in walking distance, the owner and his staff were very friendly and surrounded with a lovely friendly local have a chat and a good laugh while we were having a nice cold Taula and the Vailina of course, but the best of all is the group of young ladies in every morning preparing a delicious breakfast for us, thank you very much for your kind service ❤️❤️❤️ Some of the lights were not working in my room but that’s not a big deal room service this time was very good, why I’m saying that because I always stay there when I come to Samunda 😂 and my last staying there before this one it wasn’t good, the room service that I’m talking about, It was very sad that I love my beef soup but it wasn’t nice because the meat was too fefeu 🤣 ia lava ga le fiafia
- Clyde (8/5): Very good -
- Carman (4/5): Have stayed many times over the years = wont be back. - Staff were friendly and it is in a good location. Arrived late at night and had to plead for a glass of water. The pool needs a total overhaul. Room was a good size, however also needs a really good clean and decent plumbing that doesn’t leak.
- Rasela (9/5): All good - Spacious close to town No laundry room
- Queenb (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tugalua (5/5): keep the rooms clean - location we move in on sunday 1/06/2025 move out on 7/6/25 all they do is to collect the rubbish and pick up the rubbish every second day.. We can't rest until the bar closed, tables at the bar are so dirty never change our sheets n pillow cases we have to clean our own room. I have family they drop off our lunch we came back and they left the food in the office overnight they forgot to inform us. We love our time there but those are the things the staff need to be aware of.
- Vaka (10/5): Altogether well satisfied and will love to come back if I come back again to Samoa - Good location
Good stuff very friendly
Money worth it The breakfast should be different menu each day
- Amie (8/5): Very good -
- Tziporah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberta (7/5): Good - Good location Upgraded breakfast
