• Sven (9/5): Zentrale Lage und exzellenter Service - Sehr nettes Personal/Eigentümer. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Lage, d.h. es gab verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. Es gibt auch direkt vor der Tür eine Bushaltestelle und man ist allgemein schnell in der Essener Innenstadt und auch schnell beim Weltkulturerbe Zollverein. Auch der Bahnhof Kray-Süd ist nicht weit. Da die Wohnung sehr zentral gelegen ist, hört man Autogeräusche, vermutlich vor allem von der Autobahn A40, und es gibt auch direkt Schienen in der Nähe, d.h. man hört gelegentlich Züge. Das sind aber alles Dinge, die man vorhersehen konnte.

• Walther (1/5): - Bei Ankunft wurde mir telefonisch mitgeteilt das ich im 2. Stock mein Zimmer habe keinen weiteren persönlichen Kontakt auch bei der Abreise nicht. Der Fernseher war ebenfalls nicht angeschlossen. Ich habe mehrmals angerufen sowie eine SMS geschrieben .und auch eine Nachricht über booking an das Hotel gesandt um die Rechnung für die Übernachtung zu bekommen , nach zwei Tagen habe ich immer noch keine Rechnung erhalten. Mir ist völlig unklar wie man so ein Hotel führen kann

• Guest (8/5): Alles gut. - Es ist auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erreichbar;Bus oder Bahn.Es ist sauber, mann kann auch die Küche benutzen und auch Tea und Kaffee holen. Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Im Zimmer gab es kein Stuhl,vielleicht Platzmangel,aber es könnte einen schmalen oder kleinen zum Tisch bzw.Schreibtisch reinpassen.Vielleicht ein kleine Kühlschrank wird richtig nutzbar für Medikamente oder Lebensmittel.

• Danijela (10/5): Toplo i udobno - Veliki krevet, veoma toplo čak i sa otvorenim prozorom. Autobuska stanica bukvalno ispred. Odlična komunikacija sa gazdaricama. Vrlo čisto i udobno. Možda je falila stolica ili fotelja u apartmanu. Transport je bio nezgodan, jer se ceo grad renovirao.

• Eva (9/5): Light and spacious, we had a great stay - A very spacious room (nr. 21) with its own kitchen. We were very happily surprised by the layout and size of it. Light and clean. Loved our stay and felt at home. Enough kitchen utensils, cups and wine glasses. A coffee maker, coffee pads and tea. Microwave, small watercooker and oven. Spacious fridge and freezer. Enough cupboard space and a little desk. A supermarket (Netto) nearby. Busstop in front of the door and one at about 8 min. walking distance. Tv with youtube option. Bathroom clean and functional, enough light too. Pretty hard beds, that's a preference thing, we slept ok on them. The area is a little grim, not much to do there either and no good restaurants nearby. As others describe; it's at a busy road so you'll hear traffic at night, we didn't hear trains like others did. We sleep at a busy road at home as well, so this didn't bother us much. Bring ear plugs just in case. Some previous guest had hidden their empty-ish pizza boxes on top of a cupboard, rooms were very clean though, so this gave us a bit of a laugh.

Es gab eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die mit den notwendigsten Sachen ausgestattet war. Die Lage war auch gut inkl. Parkplatz. Wie gesagt, es könnte etwas sauberer sein. Das Zimmer ist wirklich nur für eine Person bzw. max. zwei Personen. Bett, Tisch, Schrank - mehr gabs nicht.

• Anne Marie Soki (8/5): Good Stay Undermined by Unprofessional Treatment - The apartment was nice and clean.. and I love the location. My stay at the apartment in Essen was overshadowed by an unpleasant experience with the staff. Documentation should be handled upon arrival or in a more professional setting. It was both embarrassing and inappropriate for a staff member to walk into the kitchen (separate from the room) just to demand documents ! especially with such an unfriendly attitude. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and leaves a very poor impression on guests. Basic courtesy and proper communication should be expected in a hospitality setting. While the apartment itself is good and may be perfectly fine for most guests, my experience suggests that treatment might not be the same for everyone, especially if you’re Black. Professionalism and courtesy should apply equally to all guests.
• Jenny (9/5): Charmantes Hotel & Besitzerin - Vielen Dank für die wunderbare und freundliche Kommunikation im Vorfeld. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht es allen Gästen recht zu machen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und wirklich sauber, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Auch dass man einen Parkplatz bekommt ist in dem Gebiet super. Etwas hellhörig ist es.

• Moss (8/5): One night - Clean, tidy. The staff waited until I got to the hotel. Close to the motorway. Relatively safe car parking. Since I only stayed there for one night to take a break from my journey, I can say that it was a good place for this type of short stopover. A bit noisy in the room facing the street. In room 33 the TV needs to be replaced. I may be wrong but I didn't notice any information board with the hotel name, which makes it difficult to find the hotel if you're a first-time visitor.
• Sabine (7/5): Für Kurztripp geeignet, harte Matratzen - Der Empfang von Roxanna, war sehr freundlich. Es gibt einen kleinen Innenhof zum Parken. Das Haus ist freundlich eingerichtet. Die Gemeindchaftsküche fanden wir ganz gut. Leider waren manche Gäste nicht in der Lage, den Tisch eigenständig abzuwischen... Da kann das Hotel aber nichts dazu.... Zu wenige Parkplätze für die Anzahl der Zimmer. Parksituation eher schwierig. Aber wir konnten uns gut arrangieren. Zettel die Scheibe mit Zimmernr. und Handynummer in die Scheibe gelegt. Die Matratzen waren uns viel zu hart! Und im Zimmer war es nachts zu hell...

• Pavel (3/5): Celkem pěkný pokoj, hluk je takový, že bych to nikomu ani za mák nedoporučil. - Poměrně hezký pokoj, ikdyž byl docela malý (dle fotek jsem čekal větší ... ale to je jen subjektivní dojem). Čistota hodně slušná, postel trošku vrzala. Bylo by to i prima, ALE: - 50 metrů daleko je vysokorychlostní trať ICE - takže to byl hučák (ale mírnější, než mizerné české koleje). - pod apartmánovým domem je semafor, a večer začíná EGO aktivita některých "lidí" - otevřené okénko u auta, hudba hraje tak, jako na rokovém koncertu. Přeloženo do češtiny: ani jednu noc jsem se nevyspali - padali jsem spíše únavou. Když zavřete okno, v malém pokoji je hned vydýchané - bohužel hluk to moc neutlumuje :(

What I particularly liked is that there are WiFi boosters on each landing, so the internet is super-fast. Handy if you need to do some work! The Bed was very comfortable also. The facilities are also very good value (free tea coffee etc). No complaints… if you don’t like railway traffic, then this won’t work for you. It can be a bit noisy with that ad the traffic

Very comfy beds, the place has a kitchen where you can prepare yourself food, there is a supermarket within walking distance. The train tracks are close, so if you are a light sleeper, prepare accordingly.
• Johan (8/5): Very good - nice clean place, good value for money. In a quiet corner of town but easy to reach by S bahn or bus. Free parking space
• Alexander (6/5): Pleasant - Clean, kitchen at your disposal, coffee is nice, parking at the property, the owner reception, it was hot enough in the room (outside t°C -1). Hot water not hot enough for taking a shower, very noisy - just few meters from the railway and the windows not closing firmly.

• Noemi (10/5): Great place for the price. - It was clean, easy to find, the staff was nice, and the room was great for the price. It’s located on a busy street. There was a lot of street noise throughout the night. The bathroom was very small.
