• Roger (9/5): Beautiful old cottage, superbly fitted out, in an ideal location. - A well located lovely old house, superbly modernised inside. Easy walking to all the city sites and lots of good places nearby to eat and drink. All the facilities one could want and lots of tools etc in the kitchen. Nice garden to sit in. The only significant down side was that entry to the parking space entrance is only really suitable for a small car, especially when there were cars parked opposite, as there usually was. I scratched the side of my medium sized car trying to get in (as other people obviously had, judging by the paint marks). WiFi reception was poor in the lounge. The Router was located in the dining room at the front. Fortunately my son was a professional IT expert and also lives in an old cottage with thick stone walls. He moved the Router to the lounge by a window and all was well. We returned the Router to its original postion before we left. There are actually 2 Lock Boxes by the gate. We soon found thecorrect one by trial and error. The last 2 points above are only minor in nature, and are included for information only.

• Jonathan (9/5): Wonderful stay in a stunning historical building - Location is fantastic! Right next to the cathedral. Stunning old house with wooden beams. Lovey garden at the back, perfect for al fresco breakfast or pre dinner drink. Good communication with the host. We will definitely book again. Not much. The stairs are not great for older members of the family.

• Sally (10/5): A delightful weekend in a perfectly located, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable period property. - Spacious, beautifully and tastefully furnished, modern kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, lovely courtyard garden with afternoon sunshine. Perfect location for cathedral and city centre restaurants. Very tight entry to car parking area; extreme care needed on top floor because of low beam at entrance to bathroom (although this also adds to the charm of the property!); garden beds a little neglected.
