• Adelia (9/5): Excellent host and property - From the moment you drive in the driveway you are Wowed by the beauty of Villa Mina. The house and garden are gorgeous with quirky design features and a Trullo bedroom which is stunning. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We had such a relaxing time staying there for 6 days. The property is around 10 minutes out of town so ideally you would need to hire a small car to get to the surrounding towns and tourists attractions. The owner Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with our stay including arranging a hire car and picking 5 adults up at the train station with his father in two cars. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Mina if your visiting Ostuni Very minor but some mirrors in the bedroom, a slightly larger television and a little more lighting in the kitchen

• E (8/5): A good Headquarter, if travelling throughout the local region. - Nice hosts, spacious property, updated and clean, good location in Ostuni with car. Gio, main host, provided plenty of information about the property and surroundings. Easy to get a hold of seemed genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable. One of the two bathrooms is located outside the primary building. Although close to the main facility it remains Separate and requires you to leave the main building. This can be a challenge at night as the main building doors are closed down and locked nightly. It gets quite dark at night and going outside is not best option. Though the bathroom is fully functional with toilet facility, wash basin and shower. This is a gated property with a long single vehicle driveway. When you drive in and reach the closest spot to the building with your car, you are then required to reverse several Car lengths to get back to the main exit with your vehicle. There are built up concrete borders on both sides of the driveway and backing up may be a challenge for some.
• John Calutas (10/5): Perfect in every sense. - My Girlfriend and I ,go to Puglia every year, Villa Mina is the best Villa we've stayed at. It is such a gorgeous villa, the attention to detail by Giovanni and his family is just amazing, from the stone floors inside, to the beautiful Trullo bedroom, the colour coordination of lots of things, like the towels match the decor of the bathroom, the beautiful colour flowers against the white washed walls, the extremely well kept garden with at least 100 olive trees, not to mention numerous fruit trees, Figs, Pears, Prunes, Quince, Lemons, Pomegranates, Grapes, even Capers! I've probably forgotten some. It's a really peaceful neighbourhood, perfect for relaxing, there is so much outdoor space, including a very cute roof terrace and two BBQ areas! Everything inside and out is just immaculate. Giovanni is such a lovely guy and he could not have been more helpful, very friendly- very approachable and nothing is too much for him. We were very sad to leave today. Thanks again Gio, keep in touch. I disliked the fact that I couldn't stay there forever :-)
• Linda (8/5): Villa Mina is a delightful place to stay if you have a car and want to avoid the crowds in Ostuni - Giovanni was the best communicator and kept in touch with us via WhatsApp because we were driving with our Italian friends who had many things to show us and we were uncertain of our arrival time. When he was unable to meet us he sent Michaela, who was very nice and thorough in showing us the property and checking us in. She started with showing us the rooftop, which we didn't use because it is rather tricky climbing up there as seniors and perhaps a little dangerous. The property is spacious and private, with the exception of the neighbors whose house adjoins the villa and they were outside working much of the time. This is not the fault of anyone except the weather was exceedingly hot while we were there and we were unable to be outside. There were citronella candles and mosquito repellent, but the mosquitos were so abundant and it was so hot that we were unable to use the outside, which was a pity. We would have appreciated a little continental breakfast being left for us for the first morning as is done in many properties. We ended up buying some things in the evening when we went out for dinner so that we had something to eat when we woke up and didn't have to go searching for breakfast.

It's a little remote which was perfect for us. We were looking for some quiet after a hectic trip. The owners were responsive and very easy to communicate with. Nothing.

• Tatiana (10/5): An amazing and warm place in Ostuni - I had an amazing experience staying at Villa Mina, which is surrounded by the olive trees. The place was clean, decorated in a very tasteful and cosy way, had all the facilities I needed, and the owner Giovanni was the most helpful and friendly host. I had the best sleep there because of the high quality mattress and the cicadas singing in the background. I came back fully recharched and can’t wait to be back there. Grazie!

The hosts couldn’t have been more delightful. The breakfast was spectacular and they provided us the most amazing gluten free croissants and bread to ensure our gluten free family members didn’t miss a thing. Truly a wonderful stay.

With a car is the perfect location. Magic lights everywhere and many places tu plug and charge phones. There is also a washing machine. Nothing. I will love to return with family.

• Joanna (10/5): One of the best houses we’ve ever rented, I’ll always connect Apulia with its atmosphere! - The villa has unique atmosphere for relax - with a lot of sitting places outside, the garden, the roof terrace and is preparat for guests with attention to details (like colours, beatiful plates etc). Our kids loved trullo bedroom! The location was good - near Ostuni, great place of you want to explore the area by car. The hosts were super friendly and prepared very helpful pdf „guide” for guests. No negatives

• Ylwguy (9/5): Relaxing location for Ostuni & Brindisi - Location was quiet and just south of Ostuni. Our group of 5 liked the 3 bedrooms and 2 washrooms. The second washroom is outside but helped when someone was using the shower in the main washroom. Washing machine was much appreciated as everyone needed to do laundry. There were fresh persimmons & pomegranates to pick while we were visiting. In fact, an attempt was made to eat a prickly pear from one of the cacti. It was a perfect location for our last stay in Puglia as Brindisi airport was only a 30 min drive. Bedrooms doors have frosted window panes so that people visiting washroom in the evening would turn on lights and wake up those inside the bedrooms next to the washroom.

So tastefully ( but also quirkily - which I LOVE) decorated; super quiet but an easy drive to many locations; really well kitted out. Felt like we were staying in a top notch hotel but with all the advantage of self-catering. I would come back in a flash! I’m also eager to know where the loo roll holders were from - am going to have to do some googling!!) - because I want them! Thank you, Gio - you have a really wonderful place. There is literally nothing we didn’t LOVE!

The location is close to the township of Ostuni. There is an amazing restaurant close by Masseria N'Zeta that delighted us every night with local amazing dishes. We highly recommend Villa Mina. It was beyond our expectations. Thank you, Giovanni. You have a slice of paradise there. Could not fault it.

• Michaela (10/5): Absolutely spot on for our trip to rewind and relax. - Beautiful Villa in Italian countryside. Tranquil place with lovely garden and olive trees. We had the opportunity to pick some fresh figs and prickly pears, the taste was absolutely amazing. We definitely enjoyed sleeping in traditional trullo and evenings on the roof terrace.
