Guest Reviews
- Namakau (7/5): - It is clean, there is privacy and its in a good location. There was a strange smell from the toilet drains, the door connected to the main house can only lock from outside, it made me feel unsafe not being able to lock the door from inside.
- Billel (10/5): Very good - The landlady living there were so friendly and kind Nothing maybe the studio was little bit small than looking in the pictures
- Martin (8/5): - Great location for our stay in Crouch End Not being able to secure connecting door from outside
- Matt (10/5): Great place to stay and enjoy the area - Great location and really fantastic property. Bed was super comfortable

- Sally (9/5): Overall a fab little place and won’t hesitate to stay again! - The location was great felt safe and quiet. The apartment was a decent size, bed was comfy, kitchenette was great even though I didn’t use much of it. There was a bit of noise that didn’t bother me like said in a previous review but one morning someone in the house came home at 4am which woke me, and loudly walked about in what I assume was heels and banging cupboards etc . That was annoying but not awful and it wouldn’t stop me staying again!
- Cassandra (6/5): Lovely location, clean and tidy, just needs some minor TLC. - Location was wonderful. Super clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Everything was as expected from the photos - they were very accurate and we knew the facilities would be basic. Found the bed really comfy. Easy check in. Very good value for money. Easy to park nearby. Very thin walls and floors - was woken up at 2:30am with a slamming door, the sound of someone on the loo (!) and footsteps on the wooden floor. We were supplied with earplugs but I still woke up, so didn’t get great sleep the first night. Second night one of the wardrobe doors fell off in the middle of the night onto the floor, which made a loud slam. So another poor night’s sleep sadly. It felt like the apartment needed some minor updating and repairs. Not sure much can be done about the noise. Wouldn’t recommend it for light sleepers like me.
- Bruce (3/5): As above - Location to public transport Bed hard and uncomfortable pillows hard flat and lumpy. It doesn’t have a full kitchen as advertised 2 hotplates a microwave don’t make a full kitchen adding a few odd plates and cutlery didn’t help
No replacement toiletries
Outside steps had no handrail slippery when wet no outside light this was advised as a luxury self contained apartment
I know the meaning of self contained but we stayed 10 days with no clean linen ect had to wash it ourself
You would think when people stay that amount of time they would be left a change of linen and sheets
1 Teatowel
Can’t say I would recommend this place to anyone
- Raval (8/5): Nice comfortable stay in good location for the price. - Everything was good. Overall very good for the location and price. Some minor wear and tear in the property. But nothing that makes your stay uncomfortable.
- Lydie (9/5): Je recommande - logement bien équipé, bon rapport qualité prix, propre. Bien desservi par transports en commun. Grands placards... Petite salle de bain
- John (3/5): Very poor. We are surprised that booking.com allow such poor properties on the website. - Only the location. Dirty outside. Steep steps with no banister down to the basement room; took our life in our own hands each time we arrived at the property. Injured an arm on security gate. Room small. Bed small with a cheap mattress. No storage space; there were several cupboards but they were full of items for the room, and left no room for clothes etc. Lighting poor. Bathroom small with no storage, The internal door to remaining part of the property was not locked and we found it open several times when we returned. We were very worried about security. Not value for money. The property was obviously just prepared to the minimum standard.
- Rasma (8/5): Affordable hideaway in Crouch End - Location was perfect for connecting with friends, dining out, commuting to my rehearsals and the general vibe. The suite looks bigger in the pictures, but was adequately stocked with what we needed for our stay, and was outstanding value for money, especially for London! The connecting door to the main house was not lockable on our side, so that was a bit weird. Other occupants of the house got up early and arrived home after we were in bed, so we got woken up by conversation and footsteps pounding up/down stairs -- coming from the country, that was more of a city adjustment than a complaint.
- Nathan (8/5): - Location was really close to Crouch End. Beds not so comfortable. Apartment was a bit too warm for good sleeping. Wifi not good. No lock on door to neighboring apartment where host lives.
- SUSAN (7/5): Thanks for my stay. Maybe next time - Close to shops etc. quiet. Close to transport and my family too. The bed mattress pillow and bedding a very tired. Made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Used the fan on the warmer nights.
Shower area small, so would be uncomfortable for larger people. Thanks
- Anna (8/5): Nice stay in bustling neighborhood - I really liked the location. Crouch End is a wonderful area to be. Seemingly minor things make a big difference – for example - there should be hooks and shelves in the bathroom. The bathroom cabinet door opens straight into your face (because of the location of the cabinet). There should also be more shelves in the kitchen area.
There needs to be an ability to lock the door on the suite side, connecting to the house.
- Janet (8/5): Very good -
- Hayden (10/5): Exceptional - Very tidy, everything you could possibly need for a short or even a longer trip away. Found it to be a prime location to be able to travel around London from, as well as being a lovely area in general.
- Pia (8/5): Very good - Cute little place, has everything it needs. The surrounding area is really nice. It is definitely smaller than it appears to be in the pictures, guess they were taken with wide angle. Also the bed is really quite small for two people.
- Jacob (7/5): Good - Nice Decor Heater didn't turn off
Internet was extremely slow
Charged us a 300 pound damage bond (200 pound was advertised)
- Noel (10/5): Excellent studio in great location - Everything Nothing
