• Ramachandra (1/5): - I booked for 2 family rooms through mobile and informed them about my late coming, they agreed, after reaching the location at 11.15pm, called them the attendant responded once and turned off the mobile, there was no such lodge in the location, even the location shared itself was wrong. I had no option but to search for accommodation during that hour. It was a nightmare. Very un courteous people. Better not to go there, cheates

• Susan (1/5): Stay away from this property. - Walking distance to the Arulmigu Sri Varadharaja Perumal Temple. My worst experience ever and only one! I am a solo traveler and I am leaving my first review here. I was already settled in a room and the property manager asked me to switch to another smaller room with dirty bedsheets. I was not willing to so he asked me to cancel the reservation due to overbooking. I was so shocked! I was very tired at the time and just wanted to have some rest. I told him how about switch me to the room that he has previously mentioned. However, he insisted the rooms were overbooked and wanted me to cancel the reservation. I got upset so I had to contact booking.com customer service. I think because I reached out to booking.com so the manager changed his attitude and said they can offer accommodation to me. They put me at another nearby property named Sankara Residency which it’s also running under the same property management. I paid the room fare and the property manager was not willing to give me the change even it’s just 100 rupee. I insisted as I did not want them taking advantage on me. Both property are the same price per booking.com. The new room I got was much smaller, not clean and with a lot of mosquitoes. I had a hard time slept through that night.

• Parivarthana (7/5): Worth the price! - The property has all the facilities, except for the lift. The rooms were a bit old however, the maintenance was good. The host is co-operative, and the location is easily accessible from the Kanchipuram downtown. Cleanliness could be improved!

I booked 2rooms with 1 double bed & 1 single bed but this residency has bed for 2 persons that is 1 double bed only & when we asked for extra beds they charged 400 per bed. 1 room is Not suitable for 3 members. They have given rooms without single beds in Adi Residency hotel & charged extra for bed. Also checkout time is 12 as mentioned but they told us 11:30

The property manager was very professional and he was coordinating with us and helping us till we checkin and check out. The stay was pleasant and our entire experience was seamless. People were available to help us/ attend us round the clock. The property was giving us the experience of value for money. Everything was good.

• Sarvesh (10/5): Great Location, Great Staff - Great Location right next to Varadharaj Perumal Temple and close to share auto stand to go to Kanchi Kamakshi and other temples. It is clean and neat with good beds and nice AC. The staff was very helpful and guided us well especially as we had limited time and the Thieer Festival was happening. Cosy, nice and value for money. Maybe wifi can be better.
