Guest Reviews
- Stuart (8/5): Went for a week visiting surrounding area , very handy for all attraction - Very clean and tidy ,ample parking , pub / restaurant right across the road Phone signal was very weak , sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable
- John (8/5): Great stay, the Grange was ideal for our two week stay to help relatives in Bristol - The property was clean, plenty of parking, nice grounds, very friendly and helpful host.
Generally, everything you need for a stay is there albeit basic.
Very good value for money.

- David (9/5): Vey good value and a lovely place to stay - Really peaceful countryside location, perfect for a relaxing evening and good nights sleep after a hard day at work. The cottage had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. Fast free wifi, a well kitted out kitchen with tea coffee and sugar provided too. There is also a very friendly black cat that lives here and will welcome you at the door, if you like that kind of thing. Nothing to complain about really, a mini oven / air fryer would have been useful ?
- Sarah (8/5): - Good location to explore Bristol, Bath, and the Cotswolds. On-site parking, easy check-in and out, nice walks within the village and pub right opposite. Very clean and equipped with all the basics. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the double bed wasn't particularly comfortable either.
- Sarahtranquillo (10/5): - Everything!! I really want to know what the washing powder is she used. The bed linen and towels smelt amazing!
Brilliant facilities. I had no issues but my other half wanted a more interactive TV. Haha.

- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - Had everything we needed. Great location.
- Amanda (7/5): Our stay in Wick - The rest of the bathroom was good, the bed was comfortable and warm and apart from the cobwebs, the apartment was nice and clean. It's location is lovely and we enjoyed the tranquillity and the pubs in the village were excellent. Problems getting access despite arranging to arrive between 2 and 3pm, we were unable to contact the owner for over an hour as she didn't respond to phone calls and knocking on her door. The plug in the washbasin didn't work, so we couldn't fill the bowl for a wash and the pans and crockery were of poor quality.
- T (10/5): Excellent place to stay - great value - we will want to book again ! - Everything Nothing - all good
- Michael (9/5): Superb - A very peaceful and quite room set well back from the road.
The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils for cooking.
Lots of space to relax after the long working day and the bedroom had plenty of storage space with a very comfortable bed. I would look to stay again if working back in the local area.
- Abner (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (7/5): Pleasant but not great - Very quiet and good heating system Some minor issues n bathroom rotten skirting boards should remove and tile. Slugs climbing up the wall in shower
- Anuraj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hester (8/5): Nice farm outhouse conversions - The Studio was clean and comfortable, and the location was lovely. The lighting was very gloomy, and several bulbs were not working. It's problematic if you don't have a car. There is no bus service on a Sunday and it's almost impossible to get a dog friendly taxi there.
- Piotr (9/5): this was a VERY plesant stay - and the host is most helpful and friendly - The location is just perfect, also for families travelling withut a car; two buses in different directions! And a perfect place to start your hikes in the morinig + a pub on the other side of the street maybe an option to do laundry for guests stayings over longer
- Regiane (9/5): Superb -
- Tracey (8/5): Great location excellent value for money Thankyou for a wonderful stay - Great location for us to visit Badminton horse trials Would like garden to be fenced for dogs
- Parousia (8/5): Very good -
- Afram (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - How quiet it was, very very clean great to relax.had all the essentials. Staff very helpful and polite.
- Rose (3/5): I would not advise anyone to stay here. The owner needs to improve the property. - The location was good as it wasn't too far from Bristol or Bath where we were visiting. The area was very nice as was the main house where the property owner lived. There was a nice cat that wandered round the property gardens. The property stank of damp and mould. I have asthma and after the first night needed my inhaler a lot. The property looked like it had been renovated by the actual owner as there were many issues and faults which made it obvious a professional had not completed the work. This doesn't make sense seeing as the owner has enough money to put into properties considering their house is worth over a million pounds now. It seems they want as much money as they can get without putting any effort in.
There was mould throughout the property, none of the decor matched, the floor was dirty, there were webs and a lot of dust. It didn't look like it had been cleaned recently. Is this what almost £100 per night gets you now?
The couch was uncomfortable and worn. The toilet was dirty and appeared used upon arrival. There weren't even bin liners in any bins. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. It must have been a cheap mattress. The fridge was very loud and even more so since the walls didn't join with the ceiling so you could hear everything from each room. There wasn't enough parking.
Very disappointing stay and also a health hazard.
If the owner took all of this into account they would have a nice property and attract more customers.
- Dave (8/5): It was satisfactory for what we wanted. Longer term, may feel rather cramped. - No breakfast provided. The property is a farm barn conversion, so potentially isolating for a family group who may not stay together the whole time. The bedroom is only just big enough for a double bed. We were in what looked like the largest unit ( of 5 ).
- Diane (8/5): Great to meet Barry who was lovely and fab location for Bristol and Yate - A bit tricky with sharing re noise because not partitioned off to the ceiling from bedroom to living area
- Lynx (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): Chalet in beautiful location. lovely outside area to sit. - The chalet was in a beautiful location. lovely views from the chalet onto the field and countryside. very clean and easy check-in. Barbara communicated well. outside tables and chairs and lovely area to sit. good private parking. Beautiful walks just one minute from the chalet into Golden Valley. good sized kitchen. thank you Barbara for a very enjoyable stay.
- John (8/5): Comfortable, clean, great host, perfect location for us. -
- Ioan (10/5): Good to stay here - God All
