She has provided some cute morning snack food with cutleries in the room along with a small Limoncello bottle. Would highly recommend staying at this place

We had treats in the room every morning,she was very nice and accommodating and she even helped us getting to the ferry and the bus. Location is also very good - not too close to the city center's crowd, but also close enough for a good walk. Very safe at anytime of the day/night. I would definitely recommend it.

La habitacion es hermosa, la ubicacion genial lo suficiente alejado del Centro pero cerca de todo. A 10 min caminando de la estacion de tren de Sorrento y paradas de colectivos a otras playas de la Costa amalgitana.

• Javier (10/5): - Excelente estadía en Sorrento Nos alojamos en este lugar durante nuestra visita a Sorrento y la experiencia fue realmente muy buena. Las habitaciones estaban impecables, muy limpias y cómodas. La dueña y su hija nos recibieron con muchísima amabilidad, siempre atentas y dispuestas a ayudar en lo que necesitáramos. Si bien no ofrecen desayuno, todos los días reponían café, infusiones, galletas y bizcochos como detalle de cortesía, además de hacer la limpieza diaria. La ubicación es ideal: a pocas cuadras del centro, en una zona tranquila, perfecta para descansar después de recorrer la ciudad. Otro punto muy positivo es que cuenta con estacionamiento privado, lo cual es un gran beneficio en Sorrento. En resumen, un alojamiento muy recomendable para quienes busquen una opción cómoda, limpia, bien ubicada y con excelente atención.

Rooms immaculate and the owner, Lisa had thoughtful touches everywhere. Great cakes and biscuits with tea and coffee. Rooms are spacious., beds and bedding very comfortable. A great place to come home to. Beautiful , peaceful grounds with a lovely vibe. We had a problem with transport letting us down and Lisa helped us sort it and get on our way. She was extremely supportive. Such a wonderful person and host. Nothing. We would stay again.

• Serena (10/5): A little gem in touristy Sorrento - This place is great! Luisa is an incredibly good host! There are so many little touches she has thought of, she’s always one step ahead of your needs! She doesn’t advertise that she serves breakfast but there are plenty of complimentary goodies there if you don’t bring your own or go out for breakfast, and there is a fantastic coffee machine in the shared guest hallway which makes a great coffee. Il Glicine is a small gated property, so you know you’re always safe. It’s a short 15 minute walk to the railway station and start of the town centre. We love our fresh air so had the windows open all the time (there was a big soccer match on that weekend and we could follow the score by the volume of the cheering all around us, but that added to the experience), but if you like it quiet the windows have blinds and are very well insulated. We tended to go out for lunch and make that our main meal, and for dinner we’d grab our bottle of wine and nibbles and sit in the big courtyard garden. So relaxing! The room is lovely, has everything you need (and more) and the bed is extremely comfortable! Great job Luisa! 👍👍👍 Nothing to improve on, it’s perfect!

Also a change of towels was expected but not delivered. There were ants in the room and biting us at night, which was a bit of a down. That’s the downside of having breakfast in the room.

I only expected a clean, good value place, and that’s what I got. All was fine for the price. It’s a simple place with minimal breakfast for a fair price.

Although there is no kitchenette, you can find plates, cutlery, fridge and kettle in the room so you can easily prepare breakfast. What's more, every morning you will find milk, cereals and orange juice in the corridor. The location is very good, quite close to the city center and shops. One small thing: there were a few ants in the bathroom - not very annoying, but it could bother someone

• Svetlana (10/5): Amazing stay in a quiet and clean property, perfect breakfast and free private parking! - We chose this location based on the reviews and it exceeded our expectations, so I am writing another wonderful review, because this place was perfect! First and foremost, the owner Lisa is truly an amazing, incredibly helpful person, who will make your stay the most comfortable! The property is located 10 mins by walk from the main street and the center of the city, but in a quiet zone, so you can truly relax after a day out. The room was so spacious and full of light; it had a fridge, a hairdryer, a safe, the AC; there were free snacks in the room and an authentic espresso machine in the hall, so we had the most amazing breakfast (in the morning, the hostess, Lisa puts fresh milk, yogurt and juice in the mini fridge in the hall). The room was cleaned every single day. The shower pressure is strong, the bed was huge and comfortable. In the hall, there is a mini reception desk and a ring, so you can call Lisa if you need anything and she will come; the desk had all kinds of flyers and business cards, as well as a schedule for a ship to Capri. Lisa has two brothers, who own two restaurants, which we definitely recommend. You do need to wait a little bit for a table, but it was worth it, considering the center is packed with touristy restaurants and it is difficult to find a good, authentic Italian food. The parking is free and private, inside the gates; you will get the keys and the remote control. The property has an elevator. This will always be our place of choice when we travel to Sorrento. -
