• Erin (2/5): Disappointing overall interaction with owners. Don’t refund the bond and no communication - Location fine. Impossible check in process. No pre message or notification from owner only Booking.com. Could not find apartment as not aware of check in process. Took multiple attempts to call owner to find out process. Had to find a lock box. Difficult and frustrating. Requested a last minute $300 Pay ID payment for accommodation details at the time of check in. No where is this mentioned. Have attempted to contact property owner MULTIPLE occasions since stay and have not heard anything regarding my refundable bond payment. Property was immaculate at end of stay, even had to vacuum from previous tenants leaving food and chicken bones on carpet.

Dealing with customer service and check in was unclear - Property was clean and good location Dealing with picking up the lockbox was not clear and I was not given the full instructions beforehand. I had to PayID deposit directly and it is taking 7-14 working days to receive it back which is ridiculous
• Joshua (7/5): Not for people who intend to cook, but great for remote workers who want a firm mattress. - The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. The office nook was great for a remote work space. The sofa was comfortable. The building is centrally located in the Central Business District only a 10 minute walk from the main transit station with train, bus and railcar connections. I appreciate that the bathroom had a decent hair dryer with multiple heat and speed settings. The bed was very firm and left us with sore hips and backs after several nights. Adding a soft mattress topper in the closet that people have the option to add is recommended. I booked this listing with an expectation of using the kitchen to cook, given we have dietary restrictions that are challenging to accommodate when eating out. The kitchen was not stocked with enough basic items to cook meals. Here is a complete list of what I had to work with when cooking: A cutting board, a serving/mixing bowl, tongs (2 pair), a silicon spatula, a very dull vegetable peeler, a slotted spoon, a serving spoon, a pasta spoon and a very small wire mesh sifter/colander. There was one old, food-stained ultra thin aluminum skillet with a lid and a handle that was about to fall off and a pot that did NOT come with a lid. There wasn't any bakeware that allowed me to cook in the oven. After searching all cupboards 3 times, I messaged the owner inquiring about where items for the oven were stored. They responded saying they will ask the cleaners, but I never heard back with an answer or an effort to provide anything during our 4-night stay. Basic items that were NOT stocked that I encourage the owner to provide include a can opener, a whisk, measuring cups, measuring spoons, salt, pepper, some sort of oil/cooking spray for the skillet, oven mit, a baking sheet and a baking/casserole dish. Please consider providing a better quality skillet and a pot that has a matching lid that could be used to prepare rice.
