• Francesca (9/5): Vera rooms e Alberto, che combo squisita! - Pulizia, ordine, qualità delle lenzuola e degli asciugamani e arredamento della camera. Alberto, l’host, persona squisita. Attento, presente ma non invadente. Il padrone di casa perfetto. È leggermente fuori dal centro in una zona popolare. Alla sera essendo due donne da sole in alcuni punti le strade erano poco trafficate.

Wspaniały, kontaktowy host ♡ Nawet zakwaterowanie po północy nie było problemem. Ulice są głośne, ale myślę, że każda lokalizacja w centrum będzie miała ten kłopot. Okna były szczelne i przy zamkniętych dało się spać bez większego problemu.

Ο Αλμπέρτο πολύ ευγενικός και πρόθυμος να μας βοηθήσει. Πολύ καλή αναλογία ποιοτητας-τιμής. Θεωρώ ότι με τόσα μαγαζιά εκεί τριγύρω, θα μπορούσε ο ιδιοκτήτης να συνεργαστεί, έστω για έναν πρωινό καφέ.

• Leontini (10/5): Amazing place to stay during your visit to Catania - We couldn’t have found a better place to stay in Catania!!! The host was answering all our questions and needs, even before our stay! During our 4 days stay in the town, we met him in person, so we can assure he is an excellent host indeed! So, Vera rooms are on a perfect location, in a lively neighbourhood (the windows of the apartment were soundproofed so we had no problem at all!) Even during late hours you feel safe outside. There are a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and other shops in the nearby streets. You are in a walking distance of 10-15 minutes walk from the Duomo and 7 minutes walk from Castello Ursino. Located in the first floor, our room was excellent with a very beautiful traditional ceiling that we couldn’t stop staring and a comfortable bed. Inside the room there is air condition, TV, coffee machine and capsules provided, as well as tea and a boiling kettle. There is also a private spacious bathroom with necessities provided by the host. Right outside the apartment is a big fridge that you can place everything you want. Perfect location, perfect host, what else to ask for? Totally recommended! -

• Paul (9/5): Nice stay in Catania - The property is located right in the hustle and bustle of the centre of Catania so if you want to feel the daily life of the place, it is the perfect place to be. All amenities are right next door or within a short walking distance. Alberto, the host is super exceptional, extremely helpful, practically available 24/7 and goes out of his way to accommodate all requests. (eg. I asked him from where I could buy spare parts for my Alfa Romeo. He called a friend and I ended up with a load of genuine Alfa parts at a very good price). If you are with a big car, the location is a bit tricky to navigate due to the narrow streets, but it's the centre!

• Angeliki (9/5): Old school Catania & a fantastic host. - Alberto was a fantastic host. Very kind, polite and caring. It was easy to communicate with him and he was always available for any question or need. He made sure we had everything we needed and on the day we were leaving he offered to store our luggage till our departure and he let us check-out later, since his next guests where arriving later in the day. The room had great character with classic furniture and an amazing ceiling and the bed was spacious and comfortable overall, though the mattress was a bit on the softer side. The neighborhood felt a bit rough (but not dangerous) and it was noisy during the day. The surrounding buildings are not taken care off and late in the afternoon you would see garbage lying on the pavements. Still it was quite original, where you get to see and feel the true spirit of Catania and it is close to the main sightseeing's. As far as it concerns the room, its only weakness was the bathroom which is a bit small and damp. Yet we understand that in old buildings its very difficult to build a bathroom with modern plumping.

We loved the very italian aesthetic of the room with the painted ceiling and the small balcony overlooking the street! The double windows kept the noise outside and we had a very comfortable stay. The apartment was super clean, comfy and had all the amenities as well as coffee machine as well as a large fridge shared with the room rext to our own. Alberto, the host, was incredibly friendly and made sure to ask for anything we might need, he provided suggestions for the city and gave us extra coffee capsules :) We would definitely recommend it for someone visiting Catania!

Alberto was very kind and attentive to us, his care was absolutely above standard. The accommodation is in a perfect location, very close to all the sights in the city center, so we could walk everywhere. We had a beautiful, stylish, large room with a balcony and a spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet. Fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, tea and coffee available. A quiet house in a typical Italian neighborhood. We enjoyed it very much.

The building i typical italian, the room was very clean and Alberto is an amazing host, he will give you what ever you need in short time, every day there is water in the fridge and coffee in the basket. We will come again for sure!
• Ramona (5/5): Passable - The room is as in pictures, nice ceiling, comfy bed, the host great, open and good communication, location close to center Extremely dirty and noisy street - this is catania, not in the host’s control. But for sure proper isolation of the windows would add. Even if double glazing windows a profesional needs to have a look maybe not well instaled. On top of that we had next door 2 others guests who were zero considerate, they were from hour to hour reaching the hallway fridge, fridge who was making a horible noise constantly. We were adjusting it to low intensity, they were imediately increasing it. We used ear plugs and still we could hear everything, we hardly slept during the 3 nights. Given the host cannot control the guests maybe small fridges in each of the two rooms would be a better option than to have it on the hallway All in all for us it was a bad experience overall, even if Alberto was very kind, open to feedback and considerate

He was very friendly and caring, gave us the best tips and suggestions for restaurants (which have all been amazing), he answered super super quick and was very proactive. Vera Rooms are located in a strategically good position to explore Catania. The vibe of the room was great and I loved the ceiling. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom has all you need. So all in all we had a great experience which exceeded our expectations, especially when you are considering the price.

We felt like we know - The Room was located in the center of the city just few minutes walk from all sightseeing and the Interbus station where you can go to see the other cities and villages for a Day trip. Alberto is the best host I ever met. He is super kind and flexible. He is really taking care about the guests. It was a littlebit more than 5 minutes to reach the center by walk.

The apartment is a bit out of the center which turned out to be a very good choice as Festa St. Agata was taking place during our stay. The room was well equipped. We had everything we needed.

The stronest impression was a ceiling in the room which is fantastic. it is a mosaic from 19th century. Very good place to stay. Free coffee, free waters, good host, close to the city centre, everything what you need for short city break. If I come to Catania once again I will visit this place again. It was a little bit hard to find but everything else was perfect.
