• Anita (10/5): - Ein überaus schönes Gutshaus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Faszinierend ist die Geschichte der Familie im Haus. Von Anfang an wurden wir sehr ausführlich über die Anreise informiert. Wir wurden herzlich von der Familie empfangen. Die beiden Bernhar Sennen Hunde die auf dem Grundstück leben sind sehr , sehr lieb und höflich. Von uns eine 1000% Empfehlung diese Unterkunft.
• Garry (10/5): Peaceful Estate Home in the hills above Arezzo - A great peaceful location amidst olive grove estates but only a short distance to historic center of Arezzo. The villa had everything we required from comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen to an open air lounge vying room and fantastic terrace to view the vast surrounding area. While not a fault of the property the barking dogs in the area could be distracting but not a big enough problem to become an annoyance.
• Silvia (7/5): Alojamiento amplio y con buenas vistas pero no repetiría. - Es un alojamiento amplio y bien equipado. Las vistas son muy bonitas y te permite cenar en la terraza. Estuvimos 6 noches y las dos primeras noches y la ultima no pudimos descansar bien, porque la señora que cuidaba el alojamiento, en el piso superior, hacia ruido hasta las 00:30h - 01.00h de la madrugada, y no nos dormíamos. Hay una puerta en el comedor que comunica el alojamiento con la vivienda superior y estaba abierta, lo que cual no daba mucha privacidad y posteriormente la cerraron. Creo que si los dueños hubieran estado, el descanso habría sido diferente. Las mosquiteras requieren mantenimiento, porque aunque hay en todas las ventanas, algunas están rotas y al ser una casa de campo, te encuentras bichos grandes dentro a diario.

• michael (8/5): A nice peoperty a little far from old town for our liking. - The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lots of information about where to eat and deick. A little out of the old city. It is a car only option.

• Roisin (10/5): Exceptional - Villa Medici is a Devine Tuscan dream..views of the Tuscan hills and valley were breathtaking. The villa is just beautiful..great kitchen with all you need to cook a Tuscan feast. The bedrooms are beautiful..bright lovely The terrace was amazing first thing in the morning and once the day cooled down. Our host Lucia is an angel..so helpful and amazing. We absolutely loved our stay. If you don't have a car there is a taxi service in Arezzo to take you to the villa and back down to the train station to explore Arezzo and Tuscany. Leaving
• Maciej (10/5): We stayed in early April with our small child and dog, and had a wonderful, relaxing time. - A truly beautiful place full of charm and character. The kitchen is impressively well equipped (yes, even sharp knives!), and the house turned out to offer more than expected – including a laundry room. It can be a bit chilly off-season due to the age of the building, but there’s a fireplace with plenty of firewood, which made it cozy and warm. Lucia is a fantastic host – helpful, kind, and always available. Her homemade olive oil and honey are a real treat!
• Wryandginger (7/5): wrong time of year for us - The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The space is large and equipped with everything you would need. The terrace area is gorgeous as are the views. We wanted to love this place and thought we would - I've visited Italy many times and understand thatwhen you stay in older homes, things aren't as they are in new homes. That's OK. The power cut three times. they showed us how to reset it. We don't know if we did something to set that off but there were just two of us. The wifi was spotty at best which can sometimes be an issue in older stone homes. The real issue for us was the(apparently seasonal) infestation of beetles. It's a country home so you expect some bugs but literally dozens of these things were dive bombing us in the home. We killed so many of them. We contacted the host and they offered to bring us bug traps and spray - and we were told that BTW this is a seasonal thing there. It was a lot. Having them fly around you and land on you, and in one case having little tiny beetles spring from one that had been stepped on. The windows had to stay closed at night as we could see them accumulating on the screens and it was very stuffy as a result. We also had to carefully check when packing to ensure we didn't bring any with us. Had we be given a heads up that it was the beetle time of the season, we simply would have stayed elsewhere.
• Rudi (10/5): Your Home in Tuscany - Charming villa nestled amidst the lush green of the Tuscan hills with beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets! While having preserved the traditional feel of the villa, the amenities are contemporary and make for a very comfortable stay - either for a short getaway or an extended stay. It makes for a perfect quiet retreat, after having visited the amazing the antique market in the old town every first weekend of the month, having watched the Joust of Saracino, or having devoured a delicious lunch and wine in the old town of Arezzo. Federico sent us exact directions to the villa and Lucia welcomed us warmly at checkin. We cannot wait to visit Villa Medici Donini again. We felt at home.

• Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - We had an excellent stay. The staff was very friendly, attentive and responsive. We had some issues, but they solved and addressed every one of them. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. Very nice view from the apartment. Car is recommended. It can get very warm in August during the day, and only fans were provided. Nights are fresh.
• Aniella (10/5): Authentic and comfortable villa in Tuscany - Villa Medici Donnini is a typical and marvellous Tuscan villa offering amazing view to the neighbouring hills. The apartment is beautifully set with authentic and comfortable furniture, the kitchen is well equipped, the whole apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and safe. The private patio offers a perfect place for either rest or outdoor dining. The hosts were very kind and helpful all the time. It is a real tranquil place to enjoy the beauties of Tuscany. Highly recommended!
• Nimrod (10/5): Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, our stay was a dream come true with its breathtaking views and char - it's a very pretty property, perfectly ready for a stay; host is super nice (Federico and his mom), and it's about 35-minute walk to Piazza Grande or a short drive. I plan to come again. No AC but even when it got to 33c it was fine!
• Dania (10/5): The Perfect Tuscan Villa - I can’t say enough good things about the property and the host. The villa is located in a beautiful setting atop a mountain. You wake up to the sound of birds and nature, and yet, the town of Arezzo is 5 minutes away by car. The property looks exactly as it does it does on the pictures shown, but the pictures don’t show you the feel of the place, which is magical and has a lot of history. The bed is very comfortable, the house is decorated with beautiful antique furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped, which invites cooking and meals at “home.” The property is very clean. It’s very comfortable and cozy if you want to just relax. The host is super attentive and kind - a truly special person. Arezzo has nice restaurants, a market (Saturdays), nice shopping and a train station for easy trips around Tuscany if you don’t want to use your car. We did this on a day trip to Florence and it was very convenient and easy. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in Tuscany, look no further!

• Daniel (8/5): Very good - Nice Villa with beautiful library, wonderful view from the Terrace Its a big stone house so when you're travelling in colder months as we were (March), you might feel uncomfortable with room temperature.

The flat is beautifully done up, everything is thought through to the detail (beautiful linens and towels, lavender bags in all the cupboards…). The view is stunning and the location just outside of Arezzo. Really recommend, we had a fabulous week Nothing it was all perfect

It takes me ages to decide where to stay and this place is phenomenal, lovely rustic home with incredible views.all the facilities you would need. Lovely hosts and free parking Not something I didn't like, but you will need access to a vehicle or taxi to stay here!

• Nikolaos (9/5): Traditional villa, ideal for relaxation - Very spacious rooms, great decoration and a wonderful terrace which offered a nice way to spend the evenings amidst the heatwave. It is located on a hill overlooking the area. Near the stadium and close to the city centre if you have a car - less than 10' drive. So it combines both proximity and a more isolated location. Nothing to mention here. Only thing is that you need a car as the hill is quite steep
