• Robert (8/5): Beautiful location in one of the Algarve’s - One of the best conversions I’ve ever seen of a historic building. The swimming pool is exceptionally nice and a very good size for the properties. It is an exceptionally nice location, very secure, beautiful pool and a perfect distance from Tavira’s centre. It is about 10 minutes walk. I never heard any external noise. I found it strange that it had no oven. I like to cook and there was an excellent market nearby and an oven would have been handy a couple of days when I did not feel like eating out. A good air fryer would be an adequate alternative. Perhaps some more sun beds could be added. They are in high demand. Other than that the facilities were very good.
• Clare (10/5): Lovely apartment with Superkingsize bed - Lovely apartment, which was well equipped and had an extra large bed ( superking size)which is a must for us. The pool was.drained in February when we stayed, didn't matter to me as too chilly for a swim for me then, but may concern others.

• Rakel (4/5): Mucho dinero pagado y mala instalación del piso - Sobre todo las instalaciones exteriores del convento. El piso no ofrece la calidad que dice tener Se fue la luz continuamente y perdimos mucho tiempo en los tres día que estuvimos en intentar arreglarlo. El servicio de mantenimiento hizo lo Que pudo pero cuando Finalmente vino un electricista dijo que el dueño había contratado poca potencia y por eso se fue la luz. El dueño se comprometió a devolver una parte del importe pagado pero nunca lo hizo. Mala experiencia
• Sergio Bruno A. de (7/5): Bom local, apartamento mal gerido - Local interessante e bem localizado. Boa piscina, de água salgada, sossegada. Tavira é sem dúvida uma cidade encantadora, e as praias são maravilhosas. Os apartamento desenvolvem-se em altura, pelo que é necessário subir e descer escadas múltiplas vezes. Mas pelo que percebemos, existem apartamentos no Convento das Bernardas com menos andares. O apartamento deveria ser o mais mal provido de todo o Convento das Bernardas. Nem sequer tínhamos gel de banho ou sabonetes, pelo que no dia em que chegámos (já era tarde), não conseguímos tomar um duche ou mesmo lavar mãos; lavámos as mãos com pasta de dentes que trazíamos... Os atoalhados e roupa de cama eram do mais pobre que já vimos. E o apartamento estava a precisar de vários arranjos, como o escoamento de água da base de chuveiro, telas encravadas, etc.

• Víctor (5/5): Lugar con mucho encanto, pero con poco descanso - La piscina enorme y con poca gente Estaba limpio En lugar de almohadas ponen cojines. Lo reclamamos y nos dicen que eso es lo que hay . Pagas ese dineral por quedarte ahi y no pudimos dormir del dolor de cuello. No poder descansar fue lo peor. Los dos baños se inundan cuando te duchas . El agua llegaba al dormitorio. Son tres pisos y es un poco incómodo tener que subir tanta escalera. Por Booking nos dicen que el checking lo podemos hacer a las 13 y el día de antes nos dice una señora por WhatsApp que no , que a las 15. Al final llegamos pronto y nos dejaron entrar.

• valentina (10/5): - We had a 3 floor apartment, located in front of the swimming pool,it was just great. We have kids and the easy access to the swimming pool under our supervision was a blessing. We had the chance to park inside, even if it was not included, but even if it wouldn’t have been possible, in the street outside are free parking spots. To mention also the possibility to adjust temperature in different floors since every floor had it s own system. Perfect place

• María Jesús (10/5): Sitio para estar en paz y cargar las pilas - El apartamento es mucho más bonito de lo que se ve en las fotos. Había una paz increíble. No había ningún tipo de ruido, sólo se escuchaba el maravilloso piar de los pajaritos que había allí. Hemos estado en fin de año, y sin duda repetiría. El apartamento tiene una estructura preciosa. Muy milimalista, y con un gusto exquisito. De verdad, que venimos con las pilas cargadas y ha sido una estancia muy especial y bonita. Agradecerle a Olga y a su nieta la atención, y la sonrisa cariñosa en sus caras. Mil gracias!

• carole (8/5): Sympathetically restored convent well placed in Tavira . Outstanding host OLGA!!!! - Well located apartments in quite relaxing area. Serene safe gated place with allocated parking. Stunning pool. Spacious apartment over 3 floors. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen. Sparkling modern bathrooms Olga - Host OUTSTANDING . Excellent communication. Helpful and even asked for out shopping list as we has a late flight arrival. The best host management service we have ever had Architecturally sensitively restored to the point of feeling 'too structured' and 'prison like'. I personally thought it was aesthetically beautiful, my husband felt he was in a prison Very limited private outdoor space. Everyone has their allocated 2 chairs and small table jus big enough for 2 cups or glasses - Not suitable to al fresco eating unless you have an apartment overlooking the salinas as these seem to have a larger allocated outdoor space. NB Some apartments actually have outdoor space looking out to the car park so check your booking. Ours, to be fair was overlooking the pool - so very tranquil. The price of the apartments is expensive for Tavira when used just by 2 people. Note the 2nd bedroom is a mezzanine open to the living room so unsuitable for unrelated couples sharing. Mezzanine bedroom is not private and sounds travel all the way from the basement bedroom up. The apartment is rather stark and minimalist to the point that it is missing basic functional things i.e door mat to stop gravel from terrace being brought in( possibly not allowed with rules of conformity) ; shoe rack at entrance way; no hooks whatsoever for coats/bags etc; no shelves in bathrooms for toiletries etc
• Ulrike (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft leider mit Ratten am/ im Küchenfenster - Apartment selbst, die Ruhe Kommunikation mit Vermietungsbüro, Check-in kam zu spät trotz Ankündigung unserer Reisezeit, Viel zu kurze, oberflächliche Einweisung, Ratten am Küchenfenster, die sich durch das Moskitonetz fraßen. Tipp der Vermieterin "Öffnen Sie einfach nicht mehr das Küchenfenster". Auf der Brüstung wurde dann Rattengift gestreut..... Direkt vor dem Küchenfenster. Fotos können gern gesendet werden.

• Helmut (7/5): - Sehr schöner großer Pool in einem ruhigen groszügigen Innenhof. Ruhige Lage und nicht weit zu Stadtzentrum. Wir hatten für 4 Personen ein sehr geräumiges Apartment über 3 Stockwerke mit zwei Bädern. Ausstattung war soweit okay. Haben jedoch einen Backofen vermisst. Obwohl vertraglich Zahlung vor Ort und keine Vorauszahlung festgelegt war, wurde ich ständig im Vorfeld per Mail aufgefordert eine Zahlung zu leisten. Es wurde sogar eine 24 Stunden Frist gesetzt und mit Stornierung gedroht. Es gab nur einen Schlüssel sodass es schwierig war, mal etwas getrennt zu unternehmen. Im Außenbereich wurden nur zwei Stühle für 4 Personen zur Verfügung gestellt. Mäßig freundlicher Manager. Wäscheständer durfte nicht im Freien aufgestellt werden sondern nur in der Wohnung .
• Francesco Piccinini (9/5): - Appartamento di 120 mq su 3 livelli, moderno, ricavato in un antico convento del 1500, spettacolare, piscina davanti alla porta, in 10 minuti si raggiunge il centro di Tavira e l'imbarco per le spiagge. Cucina attrezzata, anche con olio e tutto quanto serve. Top Piccole cose, problematiche più personali che altro, cucina infestata da formiche, essendo su 3 livelli con un bimbo piccolo, le scale erano pericolose, l'a/c funzionava solo al piano centrale ma si distribuiva abbastanza in tutta la casa.
• Mary (9/5): Relax in Tavira - Great seawater pool set in the courtyard. Clean modern apartment with all amenities. Approx. 12 minutes walk from the centre of town and lovely riverside restaurants. Also ferry to the island with a great beach. The apartment is beside the salt marshes which makes for an interesting stroll A little patio area outside each apartment would have been nice.

Dieser Widerspruch hat uns extrem irritiert.
