- naomi (4/5): - The location is good but in the main area which means it is very noisy. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The main issue is how noisy it is - you can hear everything that is going on in the corridors and the rooms near you. The breakfast is very very simple. Very noisy. Bed is very basic.
- Meera (4/5): - Hot water in the shower and bed was fairly comfortable Room and bathroom smelled really weird, bed sheets didn’t look particularly clean. Very loud and noisy, super overpriced

early check out got breakfast in a bag tv difficult to use
- Tarnygeorgie (6/5): - Itold the staff about problem and got refund back , that's fair enough hot water has problem
- Guzman (6/5): -
- Arache C. (9/5): Great stay at Tierra Magica! Clean, well-located, and excellent service. My only suggestion is movin - Tierra Magica Hostal is in a great location and very easy to find. The place is spotless, and the service provided was excellent. Highly recommended! The only thing that could be improved is the check-out time. 9:30 AM is quite early. It worked for me since I headed to Machu Picchu at 6:00 AM, but for other travelers, 11:00 AM would be much better. It's just a suggestion!

- Patricia (7/5): - Heerlijke bedden en warme dekens
Heerlijke warme douche
desayuno no estaba.

- Gideon (8/5): Sound budget choice, irritating breakfast - Room and bed big enough and comfortable. Working hot water. Price reasonable considering it's in AC. Our room only one flight of stairs up, that's a treat in AC. Location good for food and the hot springs, and fine for trains, buses, walking, the mercado. The modest breakfast is welcome, but the arrangement is difficult- allow extra time. FCFS between 6 and 8 (IIRC), and they whinge if you're there at 08:04. But, there's only 4 table seats, so you have to wait a turn - can be a while. WiFi intermittent in evenings. Our room over the pedestrianised street was lightish and airy, but a but noisy in evening. Some other rooms much higher. Passageways maybe tedious for tall or very wide folk.

- Doina Asimioanei (6/5): - Amplasamentul Lipsa apei calde și a cablului TV
- Cézar (7/5): Ensure the reserved room type is available, bad breakfast location. - Good shower, beds and location. I had reserved 2 triple rooms (6 beds) but when I arrived tired the offered me 5 beds a matrimonial one, we didn´t have couples in the group. Messy reserve making.
For breakfast it looks like I am eating at somebody´s house for a favor, not at all pleasant nor with enough space, just a simple table with 4 or 5 chairs.
- James (7/5): Good - Breakfast was small and basic.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Casey (4/5): Disappointing -
- Daniel (5/5): Passable - They did let me leave my bag while I went to visit mach picchu after I checked out If your not a seasoned back packer do not stay here there's zero hot water nothing but ice cold showers also found hair in one of the beds it's cheaper than most hotels for a reason but it's not worth the discount
- Kevin (1/5): Only stay here if you’re desperate - Staff were helpful You can’t make the rooms dark.
Rooms are ridiculously noisy, even with earplugs.
If you’re above 6' tall you can see through the open vent in your bathroom across the hall into the opposite rooms bathroom only 2 metres away
- Sean (4/5): Disappointing - It was reasonably cheap The Wi-Fi was rubbish. The room was very basic.
- Fabio (9/5): Superb - The guy prepared me a sneak the because I ceck out at 4:30 am
- Julian (7/5): Does the job - Location for machu pichu Noisy area
- Abigail (6/5): Great location, horrible humidity INSIDE the room - Friendly staff and a decent breakfast Very very humid in the rooms all our clothes got wet just by having our luggage open. The hot water wasn’t very consistent either. There was mold growing in the bathroom. We left the window open hoping it would help but it did nothing everything was super wet.
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Rick (7/5): Good -
- Erika (7/5): Nice place, clean but it was little bit wet there (not fresh air), but it was raining a lot at this time. - Good location, clean. Nice personal. It was not fresh air there, wet. But is was raining a lot at this time and the room was clean. Not really nice view.
- Noh (7/5): Good - The hotel staff don't speak English well, but She was really kind.
Perhaps the problem is that I am not good at Spanish even while traveling in South America. My room was on the 4th floor. The Wi-Fi was really slow.
- Petr (6/5): Pleasant - The breakfast and location. Helpful staff MOLDY AND SMELLY ROOMS ON THE FIRST FLOOR.
- Weronika (5/5): Passable - I went to bed early before Machu Picchu and I don't know why a member of the Hostal kept waking me up, knocking the door and he didn't stop until I told him I want to sleep.
- Jesse (7/5): Pleasant Stay with Some Considerations - I had a good overall experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The windows didn’t close properly, which meant I had to deal with mosquitoes and even some large spiders at night. Additionally, the water temperature wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. However, given the hot and humid climate, cold showers can be refreshing, though they might not be ideal for early morning or late-night use.
- Maria (1/5): Bad -
- Maria (6/5): Pleasant - breakfast was decent.
staffs are nice.
room and bathroom was clean you could hear the noise outside.
- Nichol (4/5): Overpriced, dirty, no customer service. - Central location The room was small and dirty. The curtains don’t block out the outside light so it’s like sleeping with a lamp on all night. The wi-fi didn’t work. The staff was non existent. We would ring the bell and no one would show up- ever. It’s very loud, since it is on the Main Street. We never tried the breakfast because the “dining area” is a dark hall with a table for 10. No common areas to relax in and nowhere to relax in the room. Worst place I’ve stayed in my 3 months in South America
- Gil (1/5): I was going to stay two night I only stay one night. Because it was that bad. They had rats , loud sound at night didn’t - The location was close to train There was so much sounds at night wasn’t able to sleep. My body has bites from the bed. I found a rat in the room. It was very bad : the staff had no consideration due to my situation they put me on the highest room!
- Now_oh_yah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yannis (7/5): Good -
- Clyde (8/5): Very good -
- Max (6/5): Pleasant -
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Kayla (5/5): Passable -
- Carlos (4/5): If it wasn’t for Machu Picchu would be empty - It’s conveniently located near restaurants It’s very noisy, it wasn’t really clean when we checked in under the bed I found 3 papers who knows from when and 2 fingers of dust. They weren’t at the reception so from 5 am you had people ringing and it was annoying. Don’t be in a rush when you go to have breakfast they take their time and they aren’t very attentive.
The mattress was hard as a rock.
- Hans (7/5): Good - Good location, privacy. WiFi did not work.
- Paul (5/5): Comfortable well positioned Hostel with limitations - Location in town was good. Staff were pleasant. Bed was comfortable & the room was clean. The breakfast was good for the price of the stay. The wifi was not connecting in my room. Always had to step out into the hallway or go down 4 floors to reception to use the internet. No TV in my room. Hot shower only available after 6pm
- Georgiou (9/5): Superb -
- Anderson (10/5): Exceptional - Very accommodating, comfortable beds, good simple breakfast
- Quispe (10/5): Exceptional - Anfitrion muy atento.
- Sian (8/5): Very good - Economical, clean place to stay as a solo traveller staying the night in Aguas Calientes while visiting Machu Picchu. Slightly steep walk to the hostel from the train station and then more flights of stairs to get to my room knocked the wind out of me a bit (although nothing compared to hiking Wayna Picchu and the Gran Caverna the next day)
- Maria (8/5): Very good - The location is very good, right in the centre of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was hot water in the room available during the evening/night and till around 9:30 am (I recommend you asking the schedule just in case). The blankets were warm. They also let us leave the backpacks until we were back from Machu Picchu before taking the train. The hotel was clean. The name of the hotel was written by hand, so I didn't see it in the first couple of seconds, but a local gentelmen showed it to me. The hotel is rather simple, but it's very good for the price you pay!
- Pablo (9/5): Recomendable hostal - Excelente atencion del personal.
- Boris (10/5): Exceptional - fast checkin, good location, very friendly and helpful administrator, good price. ideal option to drop your things or take a nap before going back to cusco there was no hot water but I was ok with the cool
- Hannes (8/5): Quit good - The location and the personal
- David (6/5): Not bad in terms of price/quality ratio but very noisy - On the main avenue, 3 blocks away from the bus station that takes to the Machu Picchu and the staff was very informative and nice. Room was clean and had its own bathroom. The place was really loud at night, the windows (can we call it a window ? It was only slidables thin glass panes) didn't keep any of the noise of the cold from outside. The hostel would use better windows, that'd make all the difference in the world.
A good thing I always travel with ear plugs.
There was also a crack between the door and the wall so you can see the interior of the room from the corridor.
- Veronika (9/5): Superb - Simple clean room, nice stuff, breakfast, central location
Hot water is on schedule, but for me was perfect timing A bit noisy as the window was inside the building
- Kirsten (8/5): Very nice hosts. Great value!!! - The hosts were warm and super helpful. It was safe and in a good area. Great value!!! It was hard to find because I think they recently changed the name. The stair were a little bit challenging for me.
- Sergio (9/5): Superb -
