- Riitta (10/5): Mi estancia de ensueño en el Jardín Andino - Me encantaron tanto mi habitación cómo las zonas comunes (jardines y sala de desayuno) de Jardín Andino. La habitación era muy bonita, con una decoración exótica que resultó muy acogedora y relajante para mí. Tenía vistas muy bonitas hacía el lago Titicaca y hacía las zonas verdes alrededor de Copacabana. El personal ayudó en todo, hasta se podia pedir comida muy rica a la habitación. Era el mismo recepcionista que iba en moto a recogerla y me la traía. Fue muy difícil conseguir una temperatura adecuada en la ducha: el agua o quemaba o se quedaba fria.

- Morgan (10/5): Really special - Possibly the most beautiful hostel we have stayed in in Bolivia, rooms are stunning for great value. Watching the sunset over Lake Titicaca from a private balcony was amazing. Great people as well, let us keep our bags there for free while we were on Isla del Sol for 2 nights. You can order food to your room from a local restaurant they partner with which was great after a days travel. Away from the main drag so very peaceful, albeit a little walk up a hill to get there but you can get a taxi for 15 bob. Breakfast was also knockout, fruit salad, pancakes and eggs…. 10/10 would recommend. N/A

- Sigrid (10/5): - Das Zimmer sieht in Wirklichkeit noch schöner aus als auf den Fotos und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Es ist sehr sauber, hat eine tolle Terrasse mit herrlichen Ausblick und sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir wurden sehr ausführlich beraten, was man in der Gegend machen kann. Außerdem bekamen wir eine tragbare Heizung. Wirklich ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und klare Empfehlung!

- Léonie (10/5): - Hébergement dans les hauteurs de la ville, à une vingtaine de minutes à pied du centre. L'emplacement est idéal pour avoir une magnifique vue sur la ville et sur l'immensité du lac. Chambre très bien décorée, confortable et bien équipée.

The bed was quite uncomfortable, could probably do with new mattresses/pillows. It was also a bit of a walk which we didn’t mind at all but the surrounding area is pretty strange, mostly a building site. Also breakfast was quite limited.

- Allocco (5/5): Far from resources and decoration emphasizes cutsie decorations. - The staff were friendly. As a solo traveler, this location was not good. I didn’t mind the walk up the hill but there is no restaurant nearby. There is a kitchen, though! So this may be a good option if you want to cook for yourself. Also, the staff sprayed a strong “freshener” spray as I was walking in and it was very chemically to me. He sprayed a lot and I wondered why. After I paid i went into town for a coffee and saw a perfect place for me - with a restaurant on site, closer to the center and rooms whose decoration is more to my liking - no trinkets but there is space for a suitcase and a table. So, I didn’t actually spend the night. This isn’t a bad spot, just not a good fit for me.

Breakfast is good but it’s at 7.40am (weird timing!) a bit tight if you want to catch up your boat for Isla de sol at 8.30am as it’s a 10/15min walk to the port. We asked for 7.30am without any success. Shower is electric or solar but both doesn’t work really well. A bit too expensive for the experience.

- Cally-anne (10/5): The best quirky accommodation in South America - I think this is our favourite place we have stayed in the whole of South America! The balcony and the view were incredible the room was quirky and clean and we loved the hanging bed! The shared kitchen is spotless and has everything you need and the garden is so pretty! The best part about this hotel is the staff they can’t do enough to help you they are so lovely and made our stay really special! If we ever came back to Copacabana we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The solar shower was amazing and hot and the breakfast pancakes were delicious! A slightly later breakfast time would be ideal but this is just a tiny thing!

The room was comfortable and the views were stunning, breakfast was excellent with freshly made eggs and pancakes. The staff are very attentive and work extremely hard. We stayed twice. Our second room had a bit of condensation that needs looking into. Also, staff seem to be overstretched- an extra member of staff would mean a more smooth breakfast service. As I said above, the staff are very good and hard working but seem a bit thin on the ground.

- Saskia (10/5): Just amazing - Amazing place! The rooms are so spacious and colorful , so many details. Beautiful! Amazing lake view from the balkony. I loved every minute here! One of the best breakfasts in Bolivia and the best accommodation I had. There is just one little thing I could complain about : the bed is really noisy when you move just a little bit but since I stayed alone - no problem.
- Tiahna (9/5): Superb - Beautiful property, located in a quiet area. The view is amazing and everyone working there is so friendly. There’s a lovely communal kitchen well stocked for cooking. The breakfast in the morning is also splendid with fresh eggs and pancakes! The wifi only worked about 50% of the time and when it did work it was very slow. It is also a bit of a walk from the town centre but we were aware of this when booking so no issue for us and you can get a taxi for 12 bob.

- Claire (9/5): Cute, well thought out hotel with lovely owners and a great view - Very cute property on the hill outside town with beautiful views of the lake. The owners have thought extremely hard about what travelers need to make their stay comfortable - tea, kettle, sugar, cups, glasses, fresh water. They also offer a food delivery service which we used as we couldn’t be bothered to walk into town after a pond days traveling. They also had heaters and plenty of blankets. There was proper hot water from the solar shower. There’s a lovely communal sitting room and kitchen. We used the heater and it made the room very wet….very wet. The floor was soaked and water running down the windows. I’m not sure it’s their fault and there’s probably not much you can do about it. We tried opening the windows which helped a bit. The beds are attached to the walls and floating which looks nice but they creak every time you, your partner or the person next door rolls over.

Beautiful balcony Staff were hard to find when you needed something and the breakfast was served later than advertised which was difficult for tourists trying to get the 8am boat. It rained a lot and as a result the room was bit wet and cold but we were given a heater when we asked

- Charlotte (7/5): It’s okay. - The pictures look beautiful, and it is decorated lovely, the balcony is nice although you basically sit on your neighbours laps. Breakfast was a good selection. The staff sorted tickets for Isla del Sol for us. Our room was veryyy damp and had mould on the ceilings. The staff were always super busy and rushing around, so it was hard to get hold of someone. Breakfast felt rushed. The location is as described but it’s at the end of the road with a building site next to it, so from our balcony that’s all you could see. We would’ve asked to move rooms because of the damp if we had stayed longer.
- Matthew (10/5): Above and beyond! - If you're looking for an example of a hostel that goes above and beyond look no further! Even after the stunning lakeside view, fantastic facilities, and the delicious breakfast, the staff in this hostel provide exceptional service with a positive attitude. What really made us love this hostel was that when we forgot a Kindle in our room and headed off to Puno without it, we contacted the staff who promptly boxed it up and booked a bus ticket specifically for the Kindle which we were then able to collect from the bus station, and wouldn't accept any reimbursement for the ticket or their service. This hostel truly has it's guests best interests at heart!

You can see the staff running around to solve problems. With the big luggages, you need to take a taxi from city center, you can ask them to arrange it. Highly recommended

Probably one of the best offers you can get in Copacabana! It gets really cold at night! There is a small heater, but it’s not super efficient. If you don’t like walking the hostel is a bit far from the city centre (but they offer taxis at cheap rates).

The receptionist even booked our Isla del Sol boat tickets for us, and gave lots of reccos on where best to eat. Close enough to town to walk, but far enough out that it’s peaceful and pindrop silence at night. A very special place that’s great value too. Nothing - was perfect for us.

- Bernardus (10/5): Lovely colorful quiet family run hostel with great views over the lake - It’s a cute, quiet oasis. Colorful interiors and a lovely family who runs it. Our bedroom came with a balcony with comfortable chairs and a view over the lake in the sun. 10/10 recommend. It’s not at walking distance from downtown, especially carrying a backpack. However, taxis from the main square are just 10bs, so that should definitely not hold you back.

Not to mention the tea and coffee station, heater, and one of the best and informative check in process. The breaky was bigger then expected. It is the sister hostel of piedra andina, but we had jardín to ourselves for 3 days! The shower had a funky smell sometimes as with the towels. The shower is hot but very temperamental and the curtain isn’t long enough so it’s a bit chilly. The staff were hard to find sometimes, rung the bell 3-4 times to chase down toilet paper but not end of the world. Bit of a walk into town (15-20 mins) and isn’t much around the hostel.

- Anna (9/5): Beautiful hostel - The room was really comfortable, very clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the balcony with hammock and comfy chair. Stunning view of Lake Titikaka. The staff at the hostel were lovely - we regularly ordered food through their delivery service to the room and had some laundry done here also, no complaints. N/A
- Sarah (8/5): Nice quiet and chilled location - Fabulous views, quiet and safe location. Colourful and bright hostel. Had a very warm welcome from the guy on reception who was very friendly and helpful sharing lots of information. Warm, cosy room and hot shower. Loved the kettle and tea options in the room Breakfast started a little too late (7:40am - 9am) which didn’t allow much time to get to the early boats for the island tour. Travel towels in the room meant I couldn’t get dry after the shower! Ha ha!
- Rosanna (9/5): Superb - Located up the hill, so a struggle with the bags! However totally worth it for the view at the top out of our balcony. Lovely breakfast- they cook eggs or pancakes to order as well as having cereal/bread on offer. Super lovely and doting hosts. The bedroom was breath-taking, totally exceeded my expectations!
- Abigail (8/5): Very good - This was a really lovely hostel and the staff were very helpful in giving us info on the town and Isla del Sol boat trips. We had a private room and bathroom and the room itself was very clean with comfortable beds and hot showers. The shared kitchen was always clean, and had enough equipment to make basic meals. They provided filtered water in the kitchen as well. The breakfast was quite small in our opinions, especially if you didn’t get there early enough as they didn’t always refill the buffet. They also only take cash payments.
- Hannah (10/5): Loved it! - I don’t usually write reviews but this one I had to. Jardín Andino hostal was superb! The room was beautifully laid out with stunning views from the balcony looking over Lake Titicaca! The shower was hot, the breakfast was great & we even had a kettle & various teas in our room which we loved. Unfortunately due to weather our laundry hadn’t dried in time for our trip to Isla del Sol & the guy (sorry but we didn’t catch your name) offered to drop it off to us in town after Isla del Sol & before we caught the bus to La Paz. Honestly 10 out of 10!

- Lynn (10/5): A beautiful and relaxing getaway. A vacation within a vacation! - The room was beautiful and had a large terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were extremely sweet and helpful. Same day laundry service, if required. Spent three relaxing nights here. At first we worried that it was a little too far from the centre but it was only a 15 min walk or a bs15 cab ride to anywhere in town. No issue.

- Nicholas (10/5): Peaceful with great view and breakfast - Stayed in a lake view room with a balcony. So nice for the price. Very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was more than I expected and great. The place is up a hill from town a bit but walkable or a 1.50-2 $usd taxi ride. The person checking me in spoke English and was very helpful. They let me store my bag. Pillows extremely thin.

Highly recommend. - I really liked the location; we had a small balcony facing the lake, a very quiet area with a little garden and a panoramic terrace with sunbeds and hammocks for relaxing and sunbathing. The breakfast was excellent and very abundant. The staff was truly kind and helpful, especially Kevin, who was fantastic. He helped us organize our transportation, our tours, and everything else. A really professional and accommodating guy. I recommend this place to everyone. None

- Simone (10/5): Exceptional - This is a very special place! The photos do not do justice to how it really looks. The room with the terrace is very spacious and lovely decorated. It has a kettle, tea and coffee, and a heater. The bathroom is big, and the shower is hot. The best part is the view of the lake and the most beautiful sunset. Simply unique! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And there is a well-equipped kitchen that you are allowed to use. For us, it was just the most perfect place!
