- Christine (8/5): - How close it was to the township
- Rebecca (6/5): Nice little spot. - Great spot just back from the hussle and bussel but close enough to walk everywhere. Having a pool was nice. There was nowhere to hang up your clothes and it was hard to use the bathroom basin/mirror with no space to put a tooth brush, make up bag etc
Other than that it was exactly what we needed.

Its close to everything and its very quiet, spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable (super king) It now has a contactless entry which is great. Car parking a bit closer but its not a biggie if you dont have alot of baggage.
- Graham (5/5): - Location was good. Heating was good. Bed comfortable. No soap or shampoo supplied. No kitchen sink.
Microwave oven with NO cooking vessels. No tin opener or bottle opener. Couch was only fit for the op shop, really disgusting.Too grotty to sit on.
The whole apartment needs a refurbish.

- Carol (8/5): Hanmer Springs Garden Suite - Excellent location for hot pools. The noise of the little fridge.
- Noeline (3/5): - Need far more facilities to be able to cook or heat a simple meal.
Certainly should have wifi.
- Russell (9/5): Nice and pieceful - Right in town and close to everything. Would have been nice to have bike storage but that did’t detract from a stay.

- Gerold (10/5): Es waren zwei erholsame Tage.
- Connor (7/5): -
- Leah (5/5): - Comfortable bed. Clean and quiet. Close to town. Very dated. Torn couch, worn carpet and mold on shower grout. Whole place needs a total overhaul.

- scott (7/5): Bang for buck - Great location.good value for money due to location and ease of access Units get very stuffy and the fan provided dosen't do much to ease it.and bed was uncomfortable due to the mattress being very worn and having a large hump in the middle
- Jason Dry (6/5): Adequate accommodation for a brief stay with great access to the town centre. - Location was really helpful and made for good access to the area.
Convenient check-in and manager assistance and communication good. Toilets didn't function well, rooms were clean but could've been cleaner and more well set up.
Was a difficult room setup to maximize usage.
Not a unit that allows for food preparation but you can adapt if required.
- Melanie and Grant (7/5): Handy location - Great location Noise from adjoining room was a problem, no soundproofing
- Anne (8/5): Great value for money 👍👍👍 -
- Kaye (7/5): Brilliant location and access to hotel facilities, especially the pool, made for a blissful weekend. - Very good value for the location. We enjoyed being inside the lovely hotel gardens with stunning views of Conical Hill and Mt Isobel. It was great to have use of the heated pool and tennis court although this needed some proper maintenance. A short stroll to the hotel restaurant for the morning coffee was appreciated. The tennis court needs resurfacing.
- Vanda (8/5): - The location. It probably needs abit of updating, but it is a great price for a studio unit.
- Kristof (9/5): -
- Charlene (7/5): Central stay in village - Lovely park setting near Heritage Hotel..
Easy walk to pools.
Comfortable large bed.
Little terrace area to sit and enjoy the garden.
Great parking.
Close.location right in the centre of the village I thought the place would be serviced as a motel, but when I arrived I found out it was a holiday home so there was no shampoo etc. Supermarket handy for last.minute items.
Not unlimited wifi.
TV had poor reception and limited channels.
Microwave.only.
I had to wash dishes in the bathroom, although a separate basin was provided for this.
- Brian (6/5): -
- Daisy (8/5): -
- Dawn Rohrmoser (9/5): - Great facilities, love the central location and being in the garden was quiet and peaceful Bit of a mission to do dishes, no drying up cloth and having to get water from bathroom.
- Shirley (8/5): -
- Sally (9/5): -
- Matthew (5/5): Less than it once was - We've stayed here a lot. Every time there is less and less features - the things that drew us to this place originally.
No wifi, cant use the towels at the pool any more, no late checkout, no breakfast. We've stayed here a lot. Every time there is less and less features - the things that drew us to this place originally.
No wifi, cant use the towels at the pool any more, no late checkout, no breakfast.
- Andrew (8/5): - Tv kept dropping out
- Jan (7/5): Nice unit in beautiful setting - Self served Ash tray of dirty butts on table outside unit
Dirty mat at entrance
Squeaky bathroom door
- Dot (5/5): - No where for clothes and lack of kitchen TV was poor and to flush the toilet you had to push the button 3 to 4 times.
- Sarah (10/5): Great experience, lovely staff - The facilities, we loved playing tennis -
- michael (8/5): -
- Karen (7/5): -
- Mark (8/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): Had a good rest close to town easy walk - what breakfast? A sink in kitchenet
- Heather (2/5): I remembered last time we stayed at Garden View we experienced the same disgusting musty, old smell - No breakfast - this was not part of the deal. Location was great. The bed was disgustingly uncomfortable - needs to be replaced urgently.
The room smells terribly - musty, damp and old.
The sofa couch is filthy and stinks.
The carpets are dirty, musty and in urgent need of replacing or at least cleaning - they are less then ideal.
- Judith (8/5): Very relaxing - Situation able to walk every where Only 1 wine class
- Bronwyne (2/5): - Location It wá very dusty and dirty and has black mold around th3 bathroom edges and we as just dirty
- Michelle (10/5): In the end, it was perfect stop at a beautiful destination - Central to everything, clean and quiet and beautiful surroundings We arrived early on the day and were unsure where to go or at that stage, had any confirmations/instructions. The hhh manager in the office was not particularly helpful or welcoming. Potentially without giving the key information, a message the day before would put guests at ease, without having to go to the e hotel or hhh office looking to see what the process is or that a guest has booked in and everything guests need to know (apart key info) is sent in advance. This applies to guests who are traveling around NZ with multiple bookings, it gives piece of mind.
- Natasha (8/5): Very good -
- Lee (7/5): Great, would stay again - Value for money, location Limited tv reception
- Ree (8/5): Good location - Handy, good walking distance to everything. The Property wasn’t cleaned or ready when we arrived even when we received a txt to say your accommodation was ready.
- Tim (9/5): Over all the communication was amazing the the space was clean, warm and inviting - It was quite and had off street parking and great distance to the hot pools The shower was temperamental in temperature.
And had bubble noises coming up the toilet
- Molloy (8/5): Great value for money. Would come again. - Space. Views. Location. Clean. Was the fridge turned on? Couldn't see switch and was wet inside fridge as if ice on icebox had melted.
- Gregory (3/5): Location was good. Comfortable, but expect wifi and a good TV. - No wifi. Poor TV.
- Kayla (7/5): Great potential but needs some TLC/updates - Cannot rate staff/convenience high enough though! - The communication from staff was fantastic, they replied to any queries asap and were always friendly. We also originally requested a late check in time, which was accepted almost immediately. After some plans changed, we then asked to change this time back to the standard check in time... no problems there! Great staff :) The location was also fantastic, simple check in process. While the room was spacious and very warm, we did struggle with the lack of soundproofing in the door that connects the duplex together, this meant that at night time we were awoken by our (very respectful but loud) snoring neighbours, as well as being able to hear their conversation and TV clearly. This did take away from our experience, as coming from a shared living situation, we had really hoped to have some privacy over the weekend, but felt this was lacking with noise carrying so easily. Other things to note were our bathroom fan did not work, the rubbish bin was broken, our fridge seal was broken (so it was constantly running, but never quite cold enough) and to get water/wash dishes you needed to use the bathroom tap, which did not feel very hygienic, or was very practical.
- Symonds (8/5): Very good -
- Shamir&afashna (6/5): Pleasant - Everything Nothing
- Jane (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pauline (7/5): Enjoyable - Location Needs updating

- Debbie (7/5): Good - It was very cold!
- Heath (8/5): Quie Comfortable Getaway Spot - Great central location with parking. Easy walk to the pools and shops.
The contact (Christian) was fantastic, providing excellent communication and endeavoured to check us in early.
