Tout était avec des produits locaux de qualité, préparés avec soin et raffinement. Le gérant, Jay, donne une touche raffinée à cet endroit rustique, mais avec tout le confort. Il est très attentionné mais sans jamais être envahissant. Un endroit magique pour les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Un vrai havre de paix. J'y suis allée seule et je m'y suis sentie si bien!! Un vrai bonheur. Pas d'eau chaude! Mais franchement, je me suis très vite habituée aux douches froides, qui d'ailleurs n'étaient pas si froides. C'est très courant aux Phillipines.

Jay ist einfach umwerfend freundlich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Das Essen war die 6 Tage morgens, mittags und abends außergewöhnlich lecker und abwechslungsreich. • Maria Christina (9/5): Charming beachfront stone cottages with delightful meals - Kiao Beach has a wide beach, good food, great staff, and is a decent drive from Puerto Princesa City. The stone cottage is charming, the garden well-tended, the parking spacious, and the area relaxing. The 3-course meals always delighted us. The lovely staff, led by Jay, are very attentive and helpful. The room was a bit too small for 3 single beds and our luggage. We had to put the latter under the bed.
• Camille (10/5): Déconnexion au paradis - L’établissement est incroyable, c’est vraiment le paradis sur Terre. C’est un endroit calme et magnifique, parfait pour déconnecter. Le lieu est verdoyant de nature et la grande plage sur laquelle donne l’hôtel est quasiment déserte ! Jay et son équipe ont été aux petits soins pour nous. La nourriture est excellente, tout est fait maison et le rapport qualité prix imbattable : repas entrée + plat + dessert pour 550 pesos. Nous avons eu la chance d’assister à l’éclosion d’œuf de bébés tortues sur la plage, c’était magique. Les bungalow sont ultra confortables et tres beaux. Mention spéciale pour les petits chiens Frankie et Toto adorables et joueurs.

• Svenja (10/5): - Dieser Aufenthalt war etwas ganz besonderes- der KiaoBeach ist wirklich ein paradiesischer Ort den man so nur noch selten findet. Man merkt das Jay und sein Team ihr ganzes Herzblut in diesen Ort stecken. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das beim Essen was immer abwechslungsreich frisch und unglaublich lecker war auf regionale Produkte geachtet werden. Jay ist auch darauf bedacht das man etwas über die Gegend und das Dorf kennenlernt was sehr bereichernd war. Wir sind sehr dankbar für die Erfahrungen die wir durch diesen Ort machen durften und können es jeden Menschen nur weiter empfehlen 🙏
• Basti (10/5): - Unsere letzte Unterkunft auf den Philippinen. Wow, wir würden jederzeit wieder hier her kommen. Hier passt einfach alles, das Essen ist super, die Mitarbeiter sind so freundlich. Die Zimmer sind richtig schön eingerichtet und der Platz ist so ruhig, das einzige was man hört sind Wellen und Vögel. Wenn wir wieder kommen bleiben wir auf jeden Fall länger. ... Nichts :)

• Joul (10/5): Beautiful stay - We stayed for a few nights at Kiao Beach Palawan and had a wonderful time. Jay, the manager, took really good care of us during our stay. He brought us to the eco farm that supplies the ingredients for the meals at the hotel. We highly recommend eating there — Jay, Emma, and Mike prepare everything fresh and local. The meals are very generous, and the coconuts come straight from the garden to your hands. A special thanks as well to the guardian of this beautiful place, Franky — the sweetest and friendliest dog. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and most of the time it felt like we had it all to ourselves. If you’re looking for serenity and nature, this is the perfect place. For any tips or recommendations, Jay is the guy to ask. We recommend staying at least two nights. We will definitely come back. All the best to the Kiao Beach Palawan team. -

What made it even more special was seeing where it all comes from. Jay arranged a visit to a local farm, showing us how the organic ingredients used in our meals are grown, while also supporting the local indigenous tribal communities. Knowing that our stay directly contributed to the local people and their traditions added real depth to the experience. Jay truly made the holiday exceptional. From organizing transfers in such a remote location to planning trips, suggesting beautiful sights, and sharing his deep local knowledge, he was helpful every step of the way. His care, generosity, and genuine passion for the place made us feel completely at ease and incredibly well looked after. The beach itself was unforgettable—wild, beautiful, and peaceful. The kids absolutely loved the waves and even learned to surf, making memories they’ll carry with them forever. We got the best vegetarian food in all of the Philippines and Jay & the whole team was just lovely. Big praise to the kitchen and big praise to Jay - you guys are doing a great job! • Johann (10/5): Un séjour exceptionnel, la vue et surtout le personnel - La communication, le service. On est venu nous chercher directement à l’aéroport. Le logement en lui même, le confort du lit, la salle de bain en pierre, le cadre et l’ambiance. Le service du petit déjeuner et les repas plus que fabuleux vraiment fait pour nous faire découvrir la culture locale. Un grand merci à Jay et son équipe d’avoir été au petit soin pour nous et de nous avoir amené le matin découvrir la ferme végétale et les alentours.

• Monica (9/5): Beautiful place to relax and recharge 🥰 - It’s a beautiful well kept place and Kayla and Fabrizio are very attentive hosts and great chefs. We enjoyed the most creative all organic flour less meals fresh from the farm! The beach there is gorgeous 🥰 Nice place to stay at least a couple nights and relax. We went there by motorcycle which gave us the freedom to move around the area. We also visited their farm and if you are willing to work a bit you can make your own homemade coconut oil! 😊 It would have been nice to have wifi and charging possibility in rooms. I know they are completely solar and yes getting offline for a while is a good thing. But when you travel it really is important.

• Richard (10/5): A paradise for lovers of brilliant food and the environment - We were not expecting fluffy towels, air conditioning and electricity because we read the information before we came. But what we experienced was something unique and beautiful. A deserted sandy beach with safe swimming and I kilometre wide; palm trees, and total since apart from the sounds of the sea and rain (sometimes). But above all we liked everything that this place is doing with its eco farming; sustainability and help for the community. But not only that but the food was worthy of 5 Michelin stars. Every meal was different with food grown from the farm and fresh fish caught on the day. The various bugs that wouldn't go away until they got a bite of my body!

Very remote, which was nice for a relaxing getaway. I was solo, but was very pleased to meet so many new friends. The way meals were shared made it really easy to bond with people and share experiences. We were also able to make coconut oil from scratch, which was a hilight of my trip and an incredible experience. I was super impressed with the food. As well the staff were incredibly friendly, easy to ask any questions, and made the stay like you were among family. I will definitely return! There is no air conditioning or fan at night which can get kinda warm. I was fine, but some people might have troubles sleeping in the heat.
• Rupert (7/5): Great food - Philippines food can be good and usually isn’t. But here it’s wonderful. A real experience- expect to be of - The food is best in Palawan and the highlight of the stay. Fresh, locally grown, organic and very delicious. High quality local food and very well presented and served. The location is a beach paradise and deserted for the most part - except for usual feral dogs and local passing by 1) no electricity 2) no internet 3) no fan Whilst I accept this is part of the experience and perhaps charm, my wife found it hot, humid and uncomfortable As an interim measure an electric fan and electricity is a must and owners should invest in far more solar and a turbine.
• Annette (8/5): Lovely experience w/Beatiful walks on beach. - Nice facility and owners. Wonderful manager and staff. Buildings and community center were beautifully crafted. Beach was lovely and sound of locusts and cicadas magical. Had a lovely specialty meal and teas. We had stormy weather which is not fault of the property. We had difficulty getting there but at the last minute found a shared van in Irawan terminal.
• Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - The location was beautiful and the food was the best that we had in palwan. The host was lovely and very accommodating. The bed was comfy and the stay was amazing, the sound of the sea was so relaxing. If you stay here you will be helping fund the village. There was no electricity but it wasn't their fault as these things can't be helped. Would probably not suit a digital nomad but they charged our phones for us 😊
• Franz (9/5): Great place to reconnect with nature - The resort has a quiet charm. It's on a lovely sandy beach. The steady rhythm of the waves is all one hears. My bungalow was clean and very beautiful and had solar-powered lights. It's skillfully crafted of stone and mahogany timbers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Kylah and her husband Patricio. The food was delicious and was partly prepared with produce from their associated organic farm. Having my own scooter was great so that I could go exploring along the beautiful coastal road. It was of no importance to me, but guests needing a strong internet connection may have to walk the 150 meters to the village. Prices are also a bit higher than elsewhere. However one has to keep in mind that this is a not for profit resort (Byanyas Foundation) and that all proceeds after operating costs are used to support the local community.

You are surrounded by nature with the waves from the sea that help you falling asleep. Also, the staff was great. The lady who took care of us was so nice and welcoming and cooked a delicious dinner for us. Nothing, just that I couldn’t stay more
