• Abbey (10/5): - I don’t usually write reviews, but the service here genuinely warranted one. Albert, the restaurant attendant, was the highlight of an already good experience. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being performative about it. Every order came out right, timing was spot on, and he had a solid read on when to check in and when to leave you to it — which is honestly a skill most people in hospitality never quite nail. What stood out was that Albert clearly took pride in the job. He remembered how I took my coffee and beer of choice by the second order without being asked, had good knowledge of the menu when I had questions, and handled a busy service with the kind of calm that keeps the whole room feeling relaxed. Small things done consistently well make a big difference when you’re away from home. Albert made the dining experience genuinely enjoyable every single time. The Local Connection is lucky to have him.
• Mark (8/5): Very unique with great views but lacking in quality drinks, food and service - Very unique hotel giving Greek island vibes. Amazing view over the bay and islands for sunset. The room was nice and again a great view of the harbour and sunset. Good location, close enough to walk into the town centre. The cocktails very pretty bad. The food was ok but usually took a while to arrive. There were a lot of staff (who were friendly) but hard to actually get served, and their level of English was quite poor. The beds were quite hard and there was no fridge to keep drinks cold. I was on the 4th floor under the pool and I could hear the filter or something most nights.

• Karen (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Beautiful hotel, great staff wry friendly sky and helpful, close to town only 5 min walk at the most Didn’t have some drinks and food that is on the menu
• Judi (1/5): Smelly and rude - The view and the breakfast. The smell, the staff were rude almost tried to kick us out when we first visited the pool. Just a very unhelpful staff and whole place stunk there is something really wrong with the plumbing.

• Dalia (10/5): Absolutely amazing stay! - Hotel itself is very beautiful indeed, with absolutely stunning views on the harbour. But most importantly it’s not only a facade, but you would receive a perfect, top-notch service! Everything, from shuttle pick up from airport to the checking out from the hotel was perfect. Staff is very assisting and cheerful. Also would like to express the gratitude towards the Restraunt facilities, vast menu with local and european options. We especially loved the breakfast, great variety of choices! All food we have tried was tasty and very artistically plated. Also I recommend to have Cave Spa experience, the facility design is very unique and have wow-effect, and the service done greatly. I would also like to mention the assistance of Hotel Manager Ray, for his great hospitality and personal support. Hardly could think about something to be improved, maybe just the recipes of the cocktails. Some of them have strong taste of alcohol.

• Stuart (7/5): Amazing view. Fix the easy problems and you have great hotel. - The view is amazing really amazing but free. The hotel is in the perfect position to be really really good but there are some things lacking to make it great. I’m an experienced traveller but please fix the things not liked. Very simple. 1. Organised pickup for evening out. Never arrived. Had to walk. Fine as couple but two girls or elderly not good. 2. Menu very big but many things not available. Became annoying 3. 21% government tax on menu charged, why? Everywhere else charges 10%??? Don’t eat at hotel. 4. Fix the rooms. Our balcony door was a big problem to open and close. Dragged along the floor felt like you were going to break it. 5. Every surface around pool and hotel is white but super slippy. Need to pay a lot of attention. 6. No wardrobe for clothes, strange?? 7. Organise an hourly or two hourly free pickup/ drop off to city centre, would be useful as walk long and steep and hot 8. Sunset here is absolutely beautiful but create a guest only private area. Tour buses arriving evening just meant we didn’t want to be there.
• haider (10/5): Amazing Hotel - I don't have enough words to describe how good our stay at this hotel was. This place is now very close to my heart and I will definitely book this again. The hotel is extremely beautiful, excellent option for those who want to click nice pictures but it's more than that. The views from the breakfast area on 5th floor is amazing. The swimming pool is neat and tidy and look amazing during the sun set time. Everything about this hotel was classy and romantic and I loved the overall vibe. The staff was very helpful. They went extra mile in finding my ear plugs that I lost somewhere in my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy luxury at a very affordable price. Honestly, there was nothing to dislike.

• D Kharisma (7/5): A visually stunning stay with great service, but let down by subpar food, drinks, and maintenance. - The scenery is beautiful and very “OOTD-worthy,” and the room & hotel area layouts are Instagrammable. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout from reception to the F&B team. The à la carte and buffet breakfast selections were not up to the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. The cocktails were disappointing! Poorly balanced and overly strong with alcohol. The pool area was also not well maintained, with visible mold around it. Additionally, for a hotel of this rating, it was surprising that no minibar was provided in the room especially since even cheaper hotels we’ve stayed at offered this amenity.
• Codie (8/5): - Hotel staff are extremely lovely and happy to assist with any requests and help in any way. The view from the pool is amazing especially at sunset. The neighbouring rooms were quite loud late at night, you would think common courtesy would be for people to be self aware of the noise they make when rooms are not soundproof (however that is not the hotels fault or a reflection of the hotel).

• Diyanah (10/5): Great location and 5-star service - The views at Loccal Collection were unreal. If you think the pictures are stunning, it’s even better in real life. The hotel is also located approximately 7-minute from the airport. We enjoyed the breakfast - the spread had something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the sambal station. What stood out during our stay was the friendly and helpful hotel staff. Big shout out to Mr Rey at front desk as well as Albert from Sangkar Lobster. They made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. We wished we had stayed a little longer.

The rooms aren’t protected well from sound, so I was kept awake one night by noisey neighbours in rooms on either side of my room. I could even hear someone’s phone vibrating on silent mode. 😔

Ac in room not working and no fridge provided . Food at breakfast was cold by 7.20am even cooked chicken which is dangerous. Staff at restaurant provided a drinks menu but apart from beer and soft drink could not provide anything else not sure why when there were plenty of staff around just chatting with each other.

• Djena (3/5): Grosse déception, nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel pour y séjourner. Au mieux, on peut y passer pour prendre un verre - L’hôtel est joli dans son ensemble, avec un charme qui rappelle un peu la Grèce ou Santorin. Cependant, en y regardant de plus près, on constate qu’il est malheureusement très mal entretenu.. Cet établissement a malheureusement été notre déception du voyage. Point très important à savoir : les chambres dites “basiques” n’ont en réalité pas de fenêtres — ce qui n’était pas précisé lors de la réservation. Sur les photos, une fenêtre apparaît, ce qui prête à confusion. Nous avons dû longuement échanger avec l’hôtel pour trouver une solution. L’absence d’aération entraîne une forte humidité dans la chambre, ce qui peut être problématique, notamment pour les personnes asthmatiques. De plus, la propreté laissait à désirer : nous avons trouvé des cafards et des poils à notre arrivée. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est assez cher pour la qualité proposée, et la piscine était malheureusement très sale. Dans l’ensemble, le rapport qualité-prix n’était pas au rendez-vous, surtout au vu du tarif et des établissements qu’il y a autour.

We had enquired for Indian breakfast as well and it was told that we would get it there but the chef only knew vegetarian food. It's pointless to pay 50,000 for a room n not get the kind of privilege. Nothing was even specially arranged for us for breakfast. We had to survive on just bread n butter. Plus when there's a 3rd person u don't charge extra bed n breakfast separately which was very disappointing. Pay 50k + Extra bed n breakfast charges n then just end up eating bread n butter. No doors in the washroom? R u kidding me?

Waking up to the sea view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help and making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit. Their hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience.

The property was marketed as a 4* ide say more 3 if your lucky.. More rustic than anything else, not worth the money !!!!!

• Maryam (6/5): Good location - The aesthetic of the property is nice and the staff were friendly. The rooms are definitely over priced, I booked the room with the plunge pool, however when we checked into our room, the pool was simply out on the balcony and not how it was presented in the photos. The facilities were not clean to standard and the music from the DJ was ongoing throughout the night.
• Eiko (10/5): Great stay - enjoy the view. - I stayed here between my trips. It was clean, comfortable, cozy and great customer service! I have arranged transportation through hotel and it was great. I visited their spa and loved it. Because I was there for one night, I choose simple room and it was enough. Had a great view of ocean and use their pool. Breakfast was amazing - lot of food to choose from! Recommend for anyone! I cannot think of any.. Just be careful walking around when ground is wet. It can be a bit slippery and hotel team is keep cleaning it. A night can be a bit noisy if your room is close to the dinning area.

From the advertisements in booking.com it looked really nice, you get a sense of european hotel atmosphere, but the quality of room didn’t meet our expectation for a deluxe room 4 star hotel A bit worn out here and there; the pillows and bed didn’t meet our expectation for a 4-star hotel. On our first day, there were already water clogged up in the shower room. Lots of dust and dirt from the next door room that was renovated~due to the wind, all the dust and dirt were blown to our small terrace. The pool was very dirty with lots of dead insects and dead bees; we informed one of the staff, but he didn’t do anything to clean the pool😅

Makanan di sini juga sangat sedap, terutama sarapan dan makan malam yang kami nikmati sepanjang menginap. Terima kasih khas kepada staf Oktaw yang sangat membantu dan sering bertanya khabar dengan sopan serta prihatin. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman kami di sini sangat memuaskan. Kami pasti akan kembali menginap di hotel ini apabila berkunjung lagi ke Labuan Bajo.

Need small fridge in the room due to whether at labuan bajo so hot , so the aircond also not really working .. but still can sleep comfortable

You have no access to outside taxi and forced to pay the hotel 3 times higher than regular price. The room they give me was so small with view of construction , I had to upgrade and end up paying over $250 per night for a 4star hotel in Indonesia that you stay in best hotels for 1/3 of the price . Over all not happy with all the up-charges High Price for everything , from food to transportation

• dianne (8/5): A View to remember - Omg the view is amazing . It has a spectacular view. The lifts were very frustrating, out of service or not working at all properly. No shade around pools or outside dining, so very hot and making it impossible to enjoy the pool in the heat of the day. Housekeeping was just ok . Really great hotel but needs leadership
