The apartment is spacious and recently renovated, modern and spotlessly clean (The most fancy bathroom in our trip). The host is nice and helpful, providing literally anything you need. Very nice experience! The road to the apartment is a bit rough as It is in the centre of old town. A bit hard to walk if travel with a large suitcase, but not a big deal.
• Raimondo (8/5): Good stay. Mr. Salvo is a kind host, and welcomed us with some pastries - The position is central. Few steps to the seaside, and Cathedral. It is an entire flat, so plenty of space. Like mentioned in the description, the second room with two beds is with a little window and no AC inside. Quite hot inside. Probably I would suggest to renew the toilette and shower - quite old fashioned - but very practical.

• josephine (9/5): Wonderful enjoyable stay would recommend the apartment - The location was fantastic and beautiful in the old town close by to the beach approx 100 metre walk.The apartment was great on the ground floor with good facilities. We stayed 3 nights close walk to cafes pub restaurant and shops and the piazza duomo beautiful old town. The only problem is parking very limited if you have a car need to pay to park along the beach or streets areas or you need to park in the car parks. The apartment was lovely and good size for 2 people only thing was no laundry facilities. The host was great very kind and helpful on how to check in very easy and smooth he contacted us with directions to the property and parking instructions

• Tammy (9/5): Great stay in Cefalù! - The location was great…we were in the Old Town close to the beach, laundry and restaurants. The train station was also within walkable distance. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook in a couple of nights. We had a small incident with the electricity but between the host and Bookings.com we were able to resolve it quickly. I am only mentioning this because we were very impressed with both the host and Bookings for their help. Especially impressed that Bookings followed up with us the next day.

• Luca (10/5): Fairy tale in the middle of the historical center of Cefalu next to its amazing beach - Nous avons été accueillis avec énormément de bienveillance par les propriétaires. Nous sommes arrivés en plein de nuit après un long voyage avec nos 3 bébés. Ils nous ont guidés jusqu'au bout et se sont assurés qu'on est bien arrivé dans le logement. Ils étaient aux petits soins. Ils nous ont même trouvé un lit bébé à la dernière minute. Le logement est extrêmement bien placé. Tout est à moins de 5 min à pied. C'était super sympa de pouvoir flâner dans les rues de Cefalu depuis l'appartement à n'importe quel moment de la nuit. On y retournerait avec plaisir. Merci pour tout. Merci pour tous vos attentions. Ce n'est pas qu'on n'a pas apprécié car c'est le choix de se loger dans le centre ville historique. Mais il faut savoir que le logement n'est pas accessible en voiture. Donc faut se préparer. Mais les propriétaires nous ont informés bien à l'avance et nous ont aidé pour trouver une place sécurisée pour notre voiture et ils nous ont guidé pour être le plus près de l'appartement pour pouvoir transférer nos affaires depuis la voiture avec la plus de facilité possible. On a adoré la localisation de l'appartement. Ça valait absolument le coup.

Host erg aardig en bereikbaar Met name badkamer, veel te klein. Kan niet relax douchen, te klein. Afvoerputje zat vol haren, liep niet af. Toilet tegen wastafel aan. Handdoeken hadden wat vaker verschoond kunnen worden omdat we 6 dagen verbleven

• Ciro (10/5): Lovely modern apartment in the heart of Cefalù. - Lovely apartment in the heart of Cefalù. Modern interns. Host prompt in case of needs. A few min walk from the cathedral and the beach. Ideal for lonely travellers on short stays, OK for couples too. Would certainly like to come back. I am not a big fan of online/remote check-in; however the hosts made it work out without any issues.
• Mitchell (9/5): Great location and great host - would recommend. - Location was great, right in amongst the Cefalu old town and Cefalu beaches. The host provide great advice and recommendations for what to do in the area and where to eat/ drink/ park/ tourist activities. The accommodation was great sized for the bedrooms and living room, and the Air con was very welcoming. The shower was very small and hard to use, and got charged the city tax for children (ages 3 and 5), however no where else in Italy (3 other locations) were we charged the city tax for children. Not sure on the rules in Italy, but everyone else said “only adults”.

Said he was going to have fresh water in the fridge when we arrived, but when I mentioned it wasn't, he made sure housekeeping delivered shortly afterwards AND he also had her leave an beach umbrella for us to use while there. An appreciated gesture as it truly made a difference as the sun was so intense! Host also helped arrange for a private transfer back to the airport for a stress-free return back home. Excellent stay to end our vacation with!! Power went out, but I'm not sure he could have done anything about it. A very small nit is that the second bedroom does not have it's own split cooler, so it was quite warm in there until we lowered the temperature in the main bedroom and tried to redirect into the second room. Maybe a fan would help circulate air into that room. (You have to walk through the big main bedroom to access the second room. So it cost a little privacy but it was fine once we figured it out)

It has everything you need and the hosts are super lovely, helpful and accommodating. They even had a beach umbrella for you to use to save you the trouble of buying one. They also had the parking situation figured out and made our trip stress free! The apartment is super central to everything in Cefalu. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely try and book back to Sikelia House next time we come back to Cefalu! Nothing

Everything in the apartment worked and the owner was very helpful and always available. Grocery store and local bakery were just a few steps away. Small bathroom and older equipment, but everything was functional.

The host was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our visit. The apartment is very comfortable with a great King bed and sweet kitchen with plenty of space. The location is also very quiet which we appreciated.
• John (9/5): Comfortable and Convenient Apartment - From our point of view Sikelia House is ideally placed for a visit to Cefalù. Not only is it in the heart of the historical part of the town (and, therefore, near the famous Duomo) but it is very near both rocky and sandy sections of the shore. And although it's near to many restaurants, cafés and shops, it's peaceful. The apartment has a comfortable, cheerful feel. It is neither stuffed with decorative items nor so pristine and shiny that one hesitates to sit down. The kitchen equipment was complete and operational. The ceilings are very high. That would be great in summer, but during our January stay that was not helpful. However, the two air-conditioners did manage well to warm up the apartment whenever we were "at home". The hot water heater also was very effective. The large double bed was comfortable, the WiFi was satisfactory and the apartment was clean. Checking in and checking out was easy, and the owner was responsive to all requests and comments. Incidentally she is fluent in at least three languages. The bathroom is definitely functional, but it is neither spacious nor marvellously well structured. Large persons might be seriously inconvenienced. At the top of the flight of stairs from the street level there is a small open hallway: the bedrooms are to the right and the kitchen/dining area to the left. The open stairway could be hazardous for small children or persons with poor eyesight.

• Tracey (8/5): Lovely location, crowded for 5, lovely hosts. - We loved the comfortable beds and pillows, good towels, adequate kitchen and crockery supplies. Amazing location- easy walk to everywhere. Cefalu was lovely - definitely worth a visit. Good communication with owners- google translate made it possible easily. But was older/minimal supplies for price we paid. Having paid a decent price for 5 people for 2 nights, disappointing to only get 1 toilet roll and 1 liter water - then found tap water not potable - we asked for another, which they did provide. However, we had to purchase toilet paper. Was a little crowded for family of 5-esp as wet few days. But town lovely.

• Myron (8/5): A very well situated apartment in Cefalu - This is a spacious, mostly modern apartment just a short walk from the Duomo. It was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The welcome gifts were appreciated. The bed was comfortable and we slept well since it was very quiet. Communications with the hostess were very good. We were a bit disappointed with the very small and dated bathroom. Given the spaciousness of the rest of the apartment, it was surprising to have such a small and dated bathroom.

• Lynette (8/5): Great apartment in prime location. - Close proximity to the historical centre. Clean well kept apartment with all the comforts to make it an enjoyable stay. No car park near by. Due to the explosion of tourists car parking is extremely difficult. Closest paid car par was 10 minutes uphill. No air-conditioning in the second bedroom, very hot and uncomfortable for anyone to sleep in. An additional unit would make it a near perfect stay.

Close to the beach, center, with a cool talkative parrot next door and quiet in the evening when doors/windows were closed, except for some noise from down the club/bar with the occasional drunk people, but very acceptabel! Tania was communicative and very sweet - best host so far during our 8 days travel through Sicilië.

• Babeloo (9/5): Cefalu is a perfect place for both beach go-ers as to inhale the beauty of Sicilian culture. - The apartment was large, the bed extremely comfortable, the reception hospitable with coffee, tee, sweets, breakfast crackers, a bottle of ice cold water in the fridge, shampoo and soap at the ready in the bathroom. The apartment is situated in the old town close to beaches and city center and an excellent starting point. Communication with the host was very good and response time insanely fast. Free parking is possible but requires some knowledge, ask your host. We highly recommend it. Apartment is in a LTZ zone which does not allow your rental car to drive up to the apartment. So this means you need to travel your luggage by foot (approx. 250 mtr). Free parking is possible but not close to the apartment. Communal paid parking sets you closer but still a good 500 mtrs away at approx €10,-/day. The table lights in the kitchen seem to be as bright as stadion lights. Changing the bulbs to a more cozy temperature or the ability to dim them would be a big plus. Others I couldn't find. The shower unit is of the smaller type. Obese (which I'm not) people may find themselves in a pickle. Having this said I'm obliged to nuance some of the above. Parking your car in Italy is by definition 'problematic' and the small shower was like everything else, very clean.

The apartment's prime location, complete with a charming balcony, and its impeccable cleanliness made our stay truly enjoyable. Only a few min walk to the beach where you can lounge on a sun bed and have a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters. Cefalu is a very special place with winding streets, beautiful rustic charm and welcoming locals.

The property was spotless and very comfortable. Communication with host was easy and prompt. Discounted parking ca 7 minute walk away. Highly recommend.

• Hans (10/5): Magical apartment with a small balcony on a genuine street in the middle of the old town! - Magical apartment with a small balcony on a genuine street in the middle of the old town. 200 m to the cathedral and 200 m to the beach. Close to everything and pleasant surroundings. Parking nearby. The host helped with everything and was very nice. Highly recommended! The steep stairway was not a problem for us! 🙂
