• Tjugito (10/5): - We loved the location the most. The property is very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and we had a really smooth check in. Will happily stay there again.

• Jackson (3/5): Very dissapointed. - Hell of a location but Wifi broken, full trash can left from previous tenants, mouldy cups of coffee in the cupboards, jars of crap left for YEARS to rot. Bathtub leaks so can’t have a proper bath, wasps nest on the bins which has been there for a while it was quite big, stung one of the girls as she was taking out the trash. Place is very worn and needs a severe deep clean and a bit of a fix up. For the price I expect it to be spotless not just a nice location. Thoroughly disappointed and won’t be booking again. I suggest looking at other rentals in the area with a different company. Plenty of option about. • Georgia (5/5): We love Port and the touch football weekend. Loved the location but we were let down with appearance - The location was great, nice neighbourhood and views from the decks. It was dirty. Way below standard. You cant ask that kind of money and have dead cockroaches in draws, balcony covered in dirt, dust and just general neglect of a new house. We all felt exhausted having to clean on arrival just to enjoy the space. There are 2 huge wasp nests at the front door. Two of us were stung as we left the house. Its a shame. A new cleaner and new bedding would improve the space out of sight.

• Blanc (2/5): Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and definitely not value for money, high price for view - Location was peaceful and great for water sports at your front door The property was not ready when we arrived at 3pm, which was after check-in time, and we were not able to check in until after 5pm because the cleaner was not finished until then. After waiting all that time for the property to be ready we were even more disappointed that the house had a bad odour and we had to clean and air freshen the whole house ourselves, as even though we had reminded the cleaner to mop the balconies and vacuum the carpet before she left, because it was clearly not done at that time, neither was done by the time she left. We had to wash the bottom balcony, mop the top balcony, clean away cob webs from doors and windows, we found hair in the bedroom cupboards we also had to wash all the cups and glasses, dishes, pots and utensils before we used them! The glasses even had lipstick marks on them, so not even attempted to be washed and hugely unhygienic, especially in the era of Covid ! The bed covers looked like they had not been washed for a long time, certainly not clean and fresh as expected and given the rest of the house cleanliness we didn’t trust the linen so we went and bought new sheets and put up with a few small blankets between the 4 of us These may be post covid times, however particularly when paying so much for a stay, we should rightfully expect a clean and appropriately sanitised property. We were also not advised that we would have no access to the garage (may be in the fine print) and while the boat shed was open so we could store our kayaks, there was no key to enable us to lock them up! Our bikes just had to be kept beside the house as no access to the garage, all quite disappointing to be honest, especially given the amount of money we paid, we certainly expected a much higher standard for the money The lack of cleaning was especially disappointing because when we booked the house I specifically added a request that the cleaning be done well given the online comment that others also had to also clean the house before use

• Kirrily (9/5): A lovely location to relax with family - Lovely location overlooking the water. The house was clean and neat and the facilities were very good. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. We met the cleaner who was lovely :) The shower leaked in the downstairs bathroom and left water all over the floor. The same happened in the upstairs bathroom. This posed a slip risk for my elderly father and we had to use towells to mop up the water. The upstairs ensuite shower was very hard to get to turn off (The lever need to be in exactly one position or the water will not stop running!) It would have been nice to have a broom to sweep the kitchen floor (We tidied up as much as we could before leaving but had no way to clean the floor)
• Michele (3/5): Disappointing - Location was the best thing No very clean, windows were dirty and the bathrooms were unclean. We were 6 women staying in the property for the weekend and ended up having to clean the place ourselves. Air conditioner downstairs in the main lounge area didn't work. Floors weren't swept. Given the cost I would have expected a better quality of cleanliness.
