Le hammam ne fonctionne pas, c’est une chambre chauffée-dommage. Pas de possibilité de commander des boissons /cocktails/mocktails au bord de la piscine et de pouvoir avec quelques snacking car l hôtel se trouve à 30 min de Marrakech donc vaut-il mieux manger le matin . Avons le sentiment que le jardin est bien entretenu mais pas d’investissement au niveau des chambres et services clients . Dommage au regard du potentiel du domaine . Lors du petit déjeuner, il est surprenant de ne pas pouvoir avoir de fruits hormis le jus d ‘orange .

Nicola (7/5): Lovely hotel, but a bit basic considering the size. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. - Lovely big gardens and accommodation. Very pretty and quiet. Staff super helpful Only thing is pool (according to info on here) is supposed to be heated. It was not. Very cold. So kids didn't swim much at all. That's was disappointing. Food could be better. They don't have sufficient facilities to offer much. However they are very helpful and happy to make simple things if requested. A bit limited but ok.

Claire (10/5): Idéal pour un séjour au calme pour profiter des premiers rayons de soleil du printemps ! - Excellent accueil, personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute. Cusine locale savoureuse. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et le magnifique jardin, idéal pour un séjour reposant et ressourçant. Très bons massages sur commande. Belle piscine. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très agréables. Tout le domaine a été construit dans le respect des traditions architecturales et artisanales marocaines, c'est très réussi. La prochaine fois, nous louerons une voiture pour nous rendre plus facilement à Marrakech à environ 30 minutes et visiter la région sur les bons conseils de Pierre !

Le fait d’être à distance de Marrakech ne nous a pas gêné car nous venions pour nous reposer au sein du domaine. L’existence d’un bar aurait été apprécié. Thomas (9/5): Reposante - Nous recherchions un endroit beau et calme hors de Marrakech, eh bien, c'était parfait. Le personnel était super, à l'écoute et toujours disponible. L'endroit très beau, parfait pour se reposer loin du bruit. La chambre était belle et grande, pas de vis-à-vis et peu de voisins. Niveau restauration, pour manger le soir, il faut commander le matin, ce qui n'est pas pratique si on n'est pas sûr du planning de la journée. De plus, les prix sont chers, mais les plats sont copieux et de bonne qualité.

N4DKX (10/5): Simply amazing little Oasis - The hotel sits on roughly three hectares of beautifully kept land, with rooms spread across separate buildings within the grounds, giving each one a real sense of privacy. The gardens are filled with olive, date, and orange trees, along with a variety of other stunning greenery, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting. What makes this place truly special is the tranquillity – it’s so quiet and calm. During our stay, it wasn’t very busy, which made it feel even more like a private escape. The hotel is a true oasis in the desert and a hidden gem. The pool is incredible, with crystal-clear water that was perfect for relaxing. Although the hotel is about a 30–40 minute drive from Marrakech city centre, the journey is a straight, easy drive – and in fact, the distance is a huge advantage if you’re looking to escape the bustle, traffic, and noise of the city. The staff deserve a special mention – Ridah, Amin, and Abdul Samad went above and beyond for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warm, genuine hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Breakfast is a traditional Moroccan spread, with eggs cooked fresh to order. If you fancy something different, ask for a Shakshuka – it’s absolutely delicious – and don’t miss the fresh orange juice, it’s exceptional. The rooms don’t have TVs, but this only adds to the charm and sense of switching off. We’ll definitely be coming back with the family – this place is truly stunning. To top it off, they kindly allowed us a very late checkout to accommodate our flight, which we really appreciated. There’s very little we didn’t enjoy about this place. If we were to suggest a couple of minor improvements for Cecile, the owner, they would be small touches that could make the experience even better. For example, having a kettle with tea and coffee facilities in the room would be ideal for those who enjoy a late-night cup of tea. (On our last night, we asked about this and Amin kindly provided one straight away, no questions asked.) A mini fridge would also be a great addition, especially in the heat, just to keep water cold. The only other point is the beds – they are quite firm. A mattress topper or updated mattresses might make them more comfortable, as we noticed we weren’t the only guests who mentioned this.

Queríamos descansar después de una semana de viaje y fue el lugar perfecto para esto. Las habitaciones son amplias, rodeadas de jardines encantadores. La piscina es perfecta para refrescarse. Pasamos el día entero allí sin querer salir.

Le domaine, éloigné du tumulte de Marrakech, est un véritable havre de paix. Le parc est magnifique et la piscine et ses abords propices à la détente. Les villas sont meublées avec beaucoup de goût, respectant tous les codes de l'architecture et de la décoration marocaine sans tomber dans le decorum. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, le dîner délicieux ! Merci à nos hôtes pour la qualité de leur accueil, leur goût de l'échange et du partage. Un grand merci à Pierre pour son humour, ses anecdotes et sa fameuse méthode d'apprentissage de l'arabe. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Absolument rien !

Nicholas (9/5): Tranquility to balance the madness of the medina ! - Really warm and welcoming staff at a beautiful property which is situated around 25 minutes from the centre of Marrakesh (bear in mind that the taxi is c€40 each way) The property and gardens are wonderful. We took full advantage of the wonderful pool, tennis court, gym etc.. The rooms could do with some basic additions (hand soap, towel rails)
Georgiamae (10/5): A relaxing oasis outside of the city. A must stay! - The hotel is like a little oasis outside of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. We came for a wedding and it was lovely that all the other guests who were staying at the same time were there for the wedding so we had the run of the place. The room was so comfortable and we had a little parlour in the middle and a bit of green space outside where we saw a lot of wildlife including tortoises, birds and a desert hedgehog! The pool area is a really nice for relaxing during the day and then you eat around it in the evening and for breakfast. The menu for each meal is modest but it’s all made with local ingredients and we thought it was just delicious each time. They made us some delicious tagines for dinner. The place seemed to be run by two men who do pretty much everything and they were so kind and helpful and made our stay really wonderful. We had a traditional Moroccan hammam and massage. This is a must try. It was so nice to do the day after the wedding. A bit of detox and relaxation and makes for a great experience. Overall we had such a lovely time and we would love to return. There really isn’t anything I can think of that we didn’t like. A suggestion would be to have a full length mirror in the bedroom as we were dressing for a wedding and I would have liked to see my full outfit but we made do by using the bathroom mirror and standing a little further away!
Charlotte (9/5): Peaceful, restful and everything I could have wished for - So peaceful. Lovely decor and the pool was beautiful. It is a long way out from Marrakesh or anywhere else.
Youness (10/5): A trus blessing for those who wants to enjoy an absolut relaxing stay - The property seems almost like a palace, where you can find small villas you stay in. The rooms are big with AC bathrooms are big too. Multiple towels are in the bathroom for swimming pool or for showers. There is no TV in the room but if you find a need for it, you can ask one of the guys Reda or Amine to bring one for you and by the way, the staff is really good and friendly. The property like I mentioned is really big. You can take a walk in it and enjoy the breeze, the chant of birds, the small a trees of olives, citrus and dates. There is a tennis court. The food is really good. There is no buffet and I only took the breakfast. The table is already set one of the guys bring you the breakfast. It's a mixed of Moroccan breakfast, including jam, honey, cheese, yogurt, Moroccan pancakes, or cakes, bread, and the choice of omelettes or normal eggs with cheese coffe tean and fresh orange juice. If you did want the lunch or the dinner, you can ask them to make it for you in advance. Conclusion, I really enjoyed it me and my wife. It was really amazing and we had such a relaxing time where we can forget about work, the crowded city and the big noises. There is absolutely nothing. You can hate about this place. I guarantee you that! (But if maybe you rent a car or you are a local for Morocco you're going to find a small little problem that the property is really far from the city and the road don't have lights so if you are coming at night, just be careful and drive slowly)

Zarina (9/5): Amazing villa - Overall loved the hospitality of staff especially Rada everyone was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The atmosphere was lovely, rooms were clean and the food was delicious! The location seems secluded and difficult to locate other than that it was lovely.
Taleb (5/5): Not up to the high standards. Average - The property has decent pool and spacious rooms and villa, however, so many things are missing in the facility. I was disappointed by the equipment in the gym, it was never clean or reorganized, no bin available in the gym. The towels in the rooms are so old. I had to complain many times to get better towels. No slippers, fridge, or shower kits available in the rooms. The breakfast is so basic, no protein or veggies in the breakfast. However, the staff are very kind and friendly and they make sure to help and support. If you’re used to high standards and top service then this place is not for you. The place is quite though.

Emily (10/5): Fabulous, beautiful and relaxing! - Everything was perfect! We had the most wonderful stay for 5 days. We were blown away by the service and friendliness of everyone who worked at Casa Cecilia. Laurent and his team cared for us so beautifully and always ensure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there most days and it was faultless. The pool was beautiful and so relaxing. There was also a small play ground and ping pong room which kept our daughters entertained. Laurent organised cars into the city for us and even drove me to the local pharmacy to top up on suncream when we ran out, so kind, thank you. We would highly recommend Casa Cecilia for families or couples, it's so peaceful and everything you could wish for a relaxing getaway. Nothing, everything was wonderful.

If you are don’t plan to rent a car be ready that call taxi from the hotel almost impossible, you will need to ask manager to call for you a driver one hour before you plan to leave to the centre (but from canter to the hotel find the car will be easier)

Shamal (7/5): Stunning hotel but work needs to be done. - The estate is beautiful and very calm and peaceful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and large with pleanty of space for storage. The gardens are stunning and very well maintained, beautiful orange and lemon trees, we loved the rosemary bushes and the tortoise! Amine and ossama were fantastic and extremely helpful, it was wonderful to be able to have such personal service, they give you their WhatsApp details and you can contact them if you need anything. Excellent service, thank you! Wifi in the hotel worked well throughout. We had a wonderful time in Marrakech and did enjoy our stay at this hotel but it was the service provided by Amine and Ossama that made this hotel bareable and the fact that the grounds were beautifully maintained. If it wasn't for this I would have asked for a refund and stayed somewhere else. The hotel could be so much better with just a few small adjustments. FOOD I do not recommend eating at the hotel. There are no menus, so guests have no idea what's on offer to eat or how much things cost. You are asked if you'd like lunch or dinner and advised that simple Moroccan food can be made (tagine, skewers, cous cous etc) we are not big eaters and with the heat a tagine is quite heavy so we asked if it was possible to share, we were told no. However, what wasn't clear was that the hotel offered a set menu (starter, main and dessert) 150 MAD and this had to be ordered per person. There was also the option to just order a main at the cost of 80MAD which is fine to share, there was a big back and forth around food, what was available and what could and couldn't be shared, this could have been avoided entirely if there were menus. The food we ordered(chicken and lamb skewers with a salad and some sauted potatoes) was flavourless and bland, the meat had no seasoning and the lamb was tough, we ended up sending it back and had no dinner that evening. I would suggest the Cecilia spends a bit of money and hires a propper chef to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner instead of trying to save money and doing the cooking herself. The breakfast isn't the best, its mainly breads with jams and eggs, and the same every morning, it would be great if there was a variety of different Moroccan breakfast items available so that breakfast doesn't become boring, after 7 days of eating averagly cooked eggs in bread I don't want to see an eggs for a few months. POOL The pool area is beautiful but not very well maintained, the tiles at the bottom of the pool were all coming up, which meant the bottom of the pool was quite dangerous resulting in my partner cutting his foot. ROOM It would be helpful to have a fridge in the room. The safe is pointless as you can't set your own code, you have to use the code that provided on the safe.
