• BalmeidaIe (10/5): Best place in Rovaniemi - The villa is even more spacious than what the photos show. We were very comfortable and the kids enjoyed playing with the snow in the back yard. The sauna is great temperature wise and lighting wise, very relaxing. I also enjoyed the location as it is far enough from the center but walkable. There is an ice rink very near and the market is 5 minutes away. The kitchen appliances are top tier so cooking was pleasant. I will certainly return. Just a very small thing - No Finnish TV and watching TV requires accounts in streaming platforms

• Concetta (10/5): Worm and cozy staying in Rovaniemi - Fantastic Wooden chalet in a private area! Brand new and really cozy! The sauna was fantastic after a cold day outside! Supermarket few minutes walking distance. Only that we didn’t have the toaster 🤣 NOTHING TO COPLAINT!

• CHARIKLIA (10/5): Excellent stay! 10 out of 10! - The property was the perfect place. A home away from home with all the comforts one may need. Perfect ambiance and decoration! A few minutes away from city centre and very near to all nearby attractions! Covered parking for the car which adds more points especially in the freezing weather of Rovaniemi! Owners were very supportive to our needs! There is not enough hot water to take a proper bath for a family. We were timing our bath time so that hot water would be sufficient. Of course as I learnt later this is the normal for Finland and we are not used to this. For us foreigners, there should be a warning so that we don’t end up with cold water whilst taking a bath.
• Maisy (9/5): - The property is stunning, very clean and very well equipped, there was a nice gesture of a bottle of wine on arrival and there was sledges outside for our boy to play with. The location was a 20 minute walk to the town centre. We would defintely stay here again should we ever revisit Lapland. There is very large window in the property that has no privacy in it and the property is in full view of the apartments accross the road, this window should be either blacked out from the outside so the privacy is retained, the instructions for the key collection was not clear as there is a door to the front of the property and the key collection and access door is actually to the side of the property, this should be explained in the collection instructions,
• Ulas (9/5): Great place for a short winter holiday. - We loved the house. Very comfortable, clean, cozy. Location was very good and central. The host was very helpful in everything. One of the two bedrooms didn’t have a wardrobe. It was an inconvenience for a 5 night stay.

• Forsilia (10/5): Perfect Stay - - Beautiful and cosy house with with more than enough space - very clean - the manger of the house are very friendly and helpful - many extras like ,sledges and some outdoor Equipement ,very nice coffee machine, and everything you need in a Kitchen. - we would live there :) - a little point to know is that the house is attached to a second same house. - the first few days it was very calm and cosy but the last 2-3 days there was people on the other side screaming and yelling, but that is something you can have in many other place if you are unlucky. So it doesn't count for the rating :)

• Toni (10/5): Beautiful Lodge with Amzing Hosts - Beautiful lodge on the outskirts of town, nice and easy walk away. Nice and warm but temperature controls for each room. Filtered Coffee machine a nice touch. The host answered questions before our arrival and helped with recommending activities to do. We’d definitely stay here again. No negatives at all!

• Ariya (10/5): Nice house, great host, best location - I think this house is really good. The location is really good and very convenience to travel round the area. The host is very nice, kind, and very supportive. The house, itself, is very beautiful and clean. There are a couple points I wanna point out, not really sth we don't like. The beds are a little small, but I totally understand, bc it's standard European bed size. And there is only 1 shower for 4 of us, but it's manageable.

Nice located not far from the lake where you can experience a nice 15 min walk to the city center. Amazing property! Very spacious with everything we need. Kids had enough space to play in and outside. Beautifully refurbished with Finnish design items. We specially loved the sauna after a day in the cold being able to warm up and catch up. The cherry on top of the cake was a night with northern lights that you could experience just outside the door or within a short walk to the lake ;-)! AMAZING! The contact with host was also great! My 8 year old loved the place and he said it is his dream house ;-)! Even we went early in the season and didn’t experienced Rovaniemi with (much) snow we had an amazing stay! -

• Hamish (10/5): Stunning modern Finnish house - This is a stunning new house with spacious bedrooms over 2 storeys. It had all the amenities, was beautifully furnished and very modern. We used the separate sauna room multiple times as it was so clean and relaxing. Having an extra toilet was also very handy. The location was a short drive from the city centre. Highly recommend this property!!

The location is great, just a 10-15min walk to the city center. The host, Elinoora, went above and beyond! She accommodated early check ins and late checkouts, was very responsive and made us feel very at home.

• Renee (8/5): Comfortable house just outside Rovaniemi - Modern house just outside Rovaniemi. 1 bedroom downstairs, and 1 upstairs. Comfortable living and kitchen areas. Host is very easy to reach and answers any questions quickly. Supermarket is close by. Everything is easily accessible by car. There is a toilet with a sink upstairs. There is 1 shower downstairs in bathroom where the sauna is. The bathroom itself has 1 sink, but no mirror; also has the washing machine.

After traveling for most of the day, a small welcome hamper would of been appreciated. ( i.e. bread, cheese. milk). We informed the host that we would be arriving late. At 10.30 p.m. we had to walk to the town, only to find restaurants and shops closed. We didn't know if we should go left or right out of the house. Having to spend time on google maps to find directions was not good. No written information or map how to get to the town. Only one bath towel each. Unfortunately a bad start.

Ellinoora (Host) got in contact as soon as we booked to ensure our stay was confirmed and to ask if we needed anything extra and stayed in contact throughout. We stayed here as a family of 5 and the Villa made our holiday even more special. The location in itself is breathtaking as it’s situated in a quiet street and a short walk to a lake and park trail - the kids loved it! Also a short drive / walk to the local supermarket. The Villa is brand new, modern decor and technology, very spacious - we loved the sauna! The attention to detail put in by the host made sure we got a very warm welcome and we appreciated Ellinoora accommodating some extra requests we had made. Thanks for a great stay!!
• Maxim (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, beautiful and cozy house smells of wood. Absolutely new build. In fact, the house is even better than in the photo. An unexpected and pleasant welcome compliment awaited us, and a very friendly and charming hostess greeted us personally. The house has a well-equipped kitchen, where everything is provided down to the smallest detail - coffee, sugar, salt, cocoa, honey, soy sauce, even chocolate, candies and drinks. I would also like to mention the fast internet and comfortable beds and pillows. It was very warm even when it was -20°C outside. From such a warm welcome you get the feeling that you have come to your best friends who were waiting for you! I definitely recommend choosing this house for stay in Rovaniemi! The time has past too fast ))
• Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - The villa is in a nice, quiet location, close to the city center and shops, but also nice nature walks. The place was very clean and spacious with all the things needed for our stay: towels, toiletries, things in the kitchen for cooking, cleaning, smart TV, tea and coffee, washing machine, dryer etc and even a sauna. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful if we had any questions. We even had a welcome package with drinks and snacks which made us feel welcomed. N/A
