• Castleguard (10/5): Stilvolles Ambiente mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf Bellinzona - Das Ambiente ist sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Es sind zwei Zimmer die vermietet werden. Man kann auch beide inkl. dazwischenliegendem Aufenthaltsraum mieten. Das Haus liegt etwas in der Höhe. Die Aussicht vom Balkon über Bellinzona ist wunderschön. Die Lage ist ruhig. Es können auch e-Bikes gemietet werden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Auto kann in einer abgeschlossenen Garage im Haus parkiert werden. Nichts

Non ho una camera tanto bella neanche a casa mia! Accogliente, luminosissima, una parete vetrata stupenda, con un balcone privato con vista sulla valle. Hai tutto e ben oltre ciò che serve per un soggiorno confortevole! Es gibt einen abgeschlossen Parkplatz im Haus (auch für Elektroautos) und man kann einfach mit dem Lift hoch. Das gewünschte Frühstück kann man am Abend vorher selber von einem Blatt zusammenstellen. Es gibt eine sensationelle Aussicht über Bellinzona ! Da es am Berg liegt, muss man halt unten im Dort gehen / fahren wenn man etwas z.B. am Abend essen will.

It turns out that the spectacular view is surpassed by the incredible service. Katiusca was amazing! We felt so welcomed and so grateful for all the extra things she did for us. She organised my favourite wine and aperitivo for a romantic evening. We used their brand new e-bikes to visit the town easily. Katiusca brought us some special cake cooked by her mother for Swiss National Day and invited us to join a local celebration. Everything was perfect and I just didn’t want to leave, I felt like I had found a new friend! The whole experience was wonderful. I don’t often leave reviews but this was so well deserved. Thank you. Thank you 🙏🏻 It’s hard to find anything negative about the property.

The Window liegt ca. 15 Minuten (zu Fuss) oberhalb Bellinzona, am Hang. Das heisst entweder man nimmt das Auto oder man läuft...

Folgendes ist Klagen auf hohem Niveau und eher als konstruktive Kritik zu bewerten: Es war sehr heiss als wir in Bellinzona waren (36 Grad). Die Kühlung über den Fußboden empfanden wir als zu gering, wir hatten nachts immer noch 26 Grad im Zimmer, trotz Ventilator. Das Fenster könnte einen Mückenschutz vertragen, wenn die Außentemperaturen moderater sind und man vielleicht bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen möchte.

There’s a large window instead of a wall, allowing you to enjoy the views right from the bed – a true luxury. Everything was clean, new, and very welcoming. The host was lovely, and it was clear she paid attention to every detail, including the breakfast, which was beautifully presented. I loved it so much that I used the room to propose to my girlfriend! We will never forget the place! Highly recommended!

• Jessica (10/5): Gorgeous views and the most welcoming hostess! - Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person. Everything was lovely. There was parking as well and entry into an out of the room was very easy. The only thing I would mention but it is NOT a negative point at all is that the shared kitchen is not set up for cooking full meals. It is possible to scramble some eggs or heat up food but not if one is expecting to really cook easily. We were able do more than heat up food but for people who like to cook it is not a full kitchen; it is just a pan or two and a stove top and no oven. This was not a problem for us just something for others to note when they see that there is a shared kitchen in the description. Also Katiusca was always available to bring us anything we needed. She even brought us extra containers for food that we brought from the outside and allowed us to store some of our goods in the mini fridge that is part of the shared kitchen. We highly recommend this wonderful place!
• Nadia (10/5): A beautiful time in a beautiful setting - The Window is a beautiful building in a beautiful setting. If you want to go somewhere to enjoy a spectacular view, take some time to relax, and wander around castles, then this is the place for you! It's a short taxi ride from the town center, or a short walk down (about 15min) that brings you past the Montebello castle. You can also walk up about 15min, and you will be at the second castle Sasso Corbaro. Both have beautiful grounds and beautiful views. With it's huge window in the room, I could easily sit in the balcony under the blankets provided, or lie in bed and just watch the day go by, with the sun shining on the mountains ahead. It was a very relaxing, perfect stay.

• Natsouk (10/5): Exceptional - Mrs Katiusca is a wonderful host , the view is amazing the room is very clean , there is a kitchen with all the supplies and even a fridge were you can buy wine beer soft drinks at any time .Upon check in Mrs Katiusca will be there for you to explain every detail and even book a restaurant for you . Everything was perfect if anyone comes to Bellinzona you have to stay here . The only negative lets say is that there is not often public transportation during the day and if you do not have a car you have to walk up the hill in order to get back to the window, not bad if someone likes walking .

Room was super modern and stylish and a great size with a balcony overlooking Bellinzona with amazing views of the mountains and castle. Bed was very comfortable, and also the pillows. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. We wish we booked a few more nights!

I can see the whole town & the castle. I managed to see falling snow.. it's so magical. The self check-in and check-out was easy to follow.. The owner was so friendly and the nicest person i get to know..she helped to solve my problem and even gave me a tour of Bellinzona the next day. If you would like a private tour arround Bellinzona or anywhere nearby, you can request from her. She'll gave a good price. Nothing..

• Nathalie (10/5): Very nice and cozy room with a great host and an excellent view over Bellinzona. - The Window is located in a new house up a small hill, which means that you can see all over Bellinzona right from the bed. We had a really great experience. Katiusca is a great host. She welcomed us personally and gave us information on how best to get to the city and where we could eat. For breakfast you can choose anything you want from a big selection and let her know the time you would like to eat. Katiusca perpared it for us in the morning and we even got freshly squeezed orange juice! :) The house and room are really exclusive with the lighting, the interior and the view. We can definitely recommend to stay there!

I would like to come back here again and spend more time here! We have never met such hospitable hosts for whom this business is something more than just a project!

It's hard to put into words how hospitable the hosts at this hotel are. They've orchestrated everything in a way that makes you feel even better than at home! I would like to highlight the new, tastefully designed hotel by its lovely hostess. The incredible location offers breathtaking views! The bed was comfortable, the cleanliness - impeccable, and the atmosphere - cozy. The heartfelt breakfast with music was a cherry on top! It was the most unforgettable vacation of my life, and a piece of my soul remains in this place. I would love to come back here again! this is really my honest first review when I can’t point out any shortcomings
• Duncan (10/5): Outstanding. This hotel is a hidden Jewel. - This Hotel is a Jewel. The best hotel I have stayed in my many years of travel, which include renowned 5-star hotels. The communication and reception from the owner, Katiusca, was generous and friendly, and this personal service continued throughout, nothing was too much trouble. Garage parking on site. A beautiful concept bedroom with grandstand views over the alps. Breakfast delicious. Enjoyed an impressive dinner at the nearby castle. I look forward to visiting this hidden Gem again as soon as possible. There is no room for improvement at this outstanding hotel.

Up on a hill between 2 castles, with a wonderful view and amazing terrace/balcony and stylish modern room. The hostess/owner, Katiusca, was so gracious and hospitable.

• Zuzana (10/5): We will come again! - The owner is very enthusiastic and friendly lady, she prepared a very nice, clean, luxury room for us, including beverages. 100% tip-top with beautiful view during sunny or rainy days. We did not need to watch TV, we were watching sky, mountains around and Bellinzona from the window enjoying comfortable bed or the sofa on the balcony. The location is brilliant, you can go the town, visit bars, or restaurants, or historical castles 🏰 and at the evening the reading of books on the balcony. My daughter celebrated her BD and received a beautiful present from the owner 🌷. It was a very nice surprise. I love everything there.
