Guest Reviews
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Julian (10/5): - Der Aufenthalt hat sich nicht angefühlt wie ein Touristisches Event sonder wie ein Besuch bei Freunden.
- Brittany (10/5): - Everything. Family. Home. Fun. I learned another. I was included like family. Beautiful scenery. Amazing naps and pure paradise. nothing. Nothing needs improving. All great.
- Faelens (10/5): perfect relax stay place with very nice couple - Jenny is the perfect guest woman, we had a wonderfull stay like a 3 michelin star restaurant, a 5 star hotel but feel like home...
- Emory (10/5): Great stay with and even better family;can’t wait to come back. - Clean and comfortable room with an amazing view.Very peaceful setting.
- Adina (10/5): A very enriching experience ☀️ - Staying at Nguyễn’s, or Jenny (how she introduces herself to the tourists for an easier communication) was the absolute best way of ending our 4 weeks trip in the South of Vietnam. We were at their beautiful farm for a few nights, and we wished we had more time.
Where should I start? Jenny is friendly, relaxed and has a good sense of humor. She makes you feel like part of her family, while giving you your own space too. I really liked her mother as well. While we couldn’t communicate as I don’t speak Vietnamese and she doesn’t really speak English, we would smile and talk through signs. We had amazing food cooked by her and we could feel her warmth in her approach to us. We loved everything from the coffee ‘lessons’ and stories, to the beautiful views from our room, to our walks and talks with Jenny. There was a lot of laughter but also a few profound discussions about life which we really enjoyed. We visited places together, she also helped us rent a motorbike for a day and arranged lots of things for us, including a trip to Dalat and suggestions on where we can chase sunrise clouds by ourselves and helping me order a traditional hat that we brought back to the Netherlands and which I absolutely love. Her husband is also very nice and their son an absolute gem!
When we got back home, one of the first people I texted was Jenny, to let her know we arrived safely and that a jar with some Vietnamese goodies had survived the flight. It’s been two months since our trip (we stayed there during the second part of February) and we miss the family and the farm dearly. I hope we can return soon.
Thank you so much, Nguyễn!! Big hugs from the Netherlands, Adina and Menno ♥️
- Jae-hyun (10/5): A dreamlike review from Elon Farmstay! - It was a dreamlike time to start the day surrounded by coffee trees at a coffee farm and drink high-quality coffee processed and roasted here. Jenny, the manager, president, and mother of this place, took me here and there and showed me and experienced everything about coffee that I wanted to see and was curious about. I was impressed by her tireless passion and kindness, and Jenny was so wonderful, excellent, and loving that I wondered if I would ever meet someone like her again while traveling around the world. Jenny's husband, a coffee processor, was also witty, cheerful, and comfortable, and his cooking skills were also the best. If I have the opportunity to come here again, I will definitely bring my wife and two children and share the amazing and fantastic experience I had. I hope Jenny and her family stay healthy. Thank you so much for giving me such precious and valuable memories. If you who are reading this review love coffee and are interested in coffee, I definitely recommend this place. I am already a coffee expert in Korea, a barista, a roaster, and have been running a roastery shop for 10 years. During your stay here, you will realize that "Vietnamese coffee is so excellent and special!" Don't hesitate. Hurry up and make a reservation and communicate with Jenny, who is kind and loving. You will be gifted with a heart-warming memory. Thank you so much for reading this long review. I feel so lucky to have come here. It was really, really, really good. Unfortunately I can't find it.
- David (10/5): Our family felt at home and welcomed by Jenny and her family. We learne alot about coffee from beans to the cup. Jenny - Feels like home, open space and serene surroundings. Nothing. Everything was good.
- Mareen (10/5): Great village and coffee farm experience - The stay with Jenny and her family was the best experience we have had so far in Vietnam. Jenny is an outstanding host and a great cook. She asked us what we wanted to see and took us to a local market, restaurant, elefant waterfall, pagode, silk farm. She also showed us how her coffee farm works and we could roast coffee ourselves. We also enjoyed being so close to nature. Our daughter loved the cat and the dog and enjoyed playing with Jenny’s son. Thank you Jenny! Nothing to complain
- Carolyn (10/5): Perfect in every way - Cozy, relaxed, welcomed…everything a home stay should be -
- Philipp (10/5): Exceptional - Just do it ! We spent 1.5 days at this farm and it was incredibly good. Jenny, the owner is your personal guide during this time and you are the only guest. You cannot only see the coffee production from the tree to the roasted bean, but also do every step on your own. The deep knowledge of the owners about their nature environment is not only limited on coffee, but on all the surrounding plants and fruits you will see while discovering their different coffee fields.
Moreover we visited a silk production factory and learned a lot about silk production, which is done by some neighbours.
While staying there you really feel part of their family when enjoying the meals together, that they prepare for you in the meantime (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Of course you can drink their coffee and other types of coffee in a lot of different preparation styles all the time (all the equipment you can use free all the time). The same with local fruits, always available in the kitchen.
We arrived there by bus from Da Lat (30min).
The organisation of the stay is totally individual and Jenny had always a good idea what to do next. So we also visited a temple and the Elefant waterfalls nearby.
The sleeping room, bath is everything very clean and comfortable.
When we first saw the 10* ratings we were a little bit sceptical, because often in Vietnam you can't rely 100% on the reviews. But after staying there, we honestly and easily have to give as well 10 points.
- Vratislav (10/5): Great place and a great experience! - My stay at the Elon Coffee Farm in Vietnam was an absolutely amazing experience. Right from the moment I arrived, the family of the owners welcomed me with such warmth that I felt at home from the very first moment. Not only did I learn a lot of interesting information about coffee cultivation and got to taste a wide range of excellent coffee beans, but I also got to know their daily life and their family and friends.
I loved the fact that we didn't stick to a strict itinerary but rather did what interested me. During my stay, their barista friend joined us, which was very interesting because I learned a lot about different coffee flavors.
Additionally, I loved that they actually integrated me into their daily life. I had the opportunity to enjoy great meals with the family and try some fruit that I had never tasted before.
The whole stay was absolutely perfect and gave me valuable insights into Vietnamese culture. It was definitely one of the best experiences I had during my travels in Vietnam."
