• Guy (9/5): Great views, close to the action - The location, close the action. Comfortable and spacious rooms, some of them with a great view. The building has character. No breakfast is served, but the recommended restaurant was excellent.
• Robert (4/5): - More appearance than substance. Typical wooden style, in keeping with this beautiful town. Nice: free parking opposite the building. Naturally, it is very close to the harbor, well located, and quiet because there is little traffic in this small town. Otherwise, however not very special for the advertized ambition (see homepage): no breakfast offered (we found a great café), mediocre beds, far too few power outlets, which were also in the wrong places, a refrigerator (empty) that constantly turned on and made annoying noises, a small TV, and a house with thin walls. It's no surprise that the staff didn't care: who comes back to Lunenburg anyway?
• Andrea (10/5): Restful stay in a great location - Great location and rooms were wonderfully furnished, We spent a restful night after driving and touring the area. Restaurants were nearby and attractions was a short walk. Free parking was available in front of the hotel- a key feature since parking can be difficult. Overall, a great stay! It would have been perfect if breakfast was available but there several restaurants and bakery were nearby.

• Lawrence (8/5): Entspannt & problemlos - Im Grunde genommen nichts, aber einige Bemerkungen konnten nützlich sein. Es hat kein Kleiderschrank gegeben, nur eine kleine, freistehende, Garderobe was für Jacken ausreichend war. Das ist nicht optimal bei einem 4-nächtige Aufenthalt! Leider waren die verfügbare Schubladen teilweise mit Kopfkissen vollgestopft. Das Hotel bietet überhaupt kein Frühstück, was nicht bei den Buchung offensichtlich war. Das stellt kein Problem da weil es ausreichende kleine Restaurants innerhalb 300 m gibt, die Frühstück anbieten. Die Zimmer an die Strassenseite sind morgenfrüh etwas vom Verkehrslärm bei offenen Fenstern gestört. Auf die andere Seite mit Meerblick wahrscheinlich ruhiger aber etwas teurer. Lunenburg ist aber ein sehr kleine Stadt und deswegen generell ruhig. Das Bett war gut, hat aber kein Stauplatz für Koffer darunter deswegen haben unsere zwei mittelgrosse Koffer viel Platz im Raum genommen.

From about 3am there was a loud electrical humming noise that woke us both up and went on for about 3 hours. We think it was the heating.

• Brigitte (7/5): Nettes altes Hotel un Top Lage - Kein Frühstück. Zentrale Lage in der Altstadt und trotzdem mit sehr gutter Parkmöglichkeit. Im Hotel war es verhältnismäßig ruhig. Zimmerservice auf verlangen. Die Betten waren etwas zu weich. Im Bad gab es nur wenig Ablagefläche um das Waschbecken rum. Es gab keine Möglichkeit feuchte Handtücher aufzuhängen. Wünschenswert wären auch Kleiderhaken im Bad und Eingangsbereich. Steckdosen gab es spärlich und an ungünstigen Stellen. Bei uns war die Klimaanlage/Heizung sehr laut. Restaurants in der Nähe gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

• Seung Bum (9/5): A must place to stay if you are visiting Lunenburg. - The view of the harbour from this hotel is of something you have to experience. Clean suite with great amenities, and very quiet at night. Free parking available across the building, and conveniently located in the middle of the town for easy access to restaurants, cafes, and other places. The elevator is slow, and no restaurant/cafe located within the building.

Rooms are well maintained and the staff is helpful It was nice and spacious in our family suite. Mattresses may need updating. Lost some of their support. May need more lights or Brighter bulbs. Pretty dark without windows open and sunshine.

• Werner (8/5): Ganz ok - Es war sehr sauber, Parkplatz kostenlos direkt vor dem Hotel. Für 2 Personen gab es nur eine Steckdose. Die Klimaanlage war so laut, dass wir sie ausschalten mussten.
• Steven (5/5): - Good location. Beds far too soft and uncomfortable. Air conditioning was too loud to sleep and we had to go without. We could not get the TV to work unlike any of our other stays elsewhere. Also, too expensive for what we experienced. Would not recommend.

• Greg (8/5): - The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is central In the pretty town of Lunenburg. Unfortunately there is no breakfast option and we were woken by striking postal workers in the car park opposite the hotel who were setting up their dispute. Although wasn’t the hotels fault, the reception staff could have asked them to keep the noise down.

• Karen (7/5): - Didn’t have breakfast there. Didn’t think there was breakfast. On check-in we received a list of restaurants to try for breakfast. The beds are rather small and not heavy enough blankets. Air conditioner makes a lot of noise and is loud. Tv is in a very bad place. You have to look to the side all the time. With two people in the room and only one chair to sit on. We were lucky it didn’t rain and we didn’t spent much time in our room.

• dodro (8/5): - Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits vom Touristentrubel und ist eine sehr gute Adresse für einen Aufenthalt . Positiv: Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, Lift, was den Gepäcktransport erleichtert. Obwohl direkt an der Straße, ist es in den Zimmern ruhig. Schade, weder Frühstück noch ein Restaurant werden angeboten. Auf Wunsch bekommt man an der Rezeption die Adressen entsprechender Restaurants.

• Howard (9/5): Pleasantly surprised, great stay! - There was no breakfast included with our stay so that is why value for our money was rated lower. The ambiance and local history was well executed without compromising comfort. Loved the location. We really enjoyed walking about the nearby streets and shops amd restaurants and of course the harbour. Very clean and comfortable. There really wasn’t anything to dislike.

• Natacha (8/5): Très bel hôtel idéalement situé - Nous avons passé une super nuit dans cet hôtel, idéalement situé dans cette magnifique ville de Lunenburg, on peut tout visiter à pied. Le stationnement gratuit est vraiment un plus. La chambre était spacieuse, au calme et bien équipée, avec un grand lit confortable. On serait bien restés plus longtemps, une nuit c'était trop court !
