• Myah Sara (10/5): Beautiful stay - The property was beautiful. Stunning and clean and the perfect place to relax. Everything is so clearly laid out. Tracey is the most amazing host. She provided information of what can be done in the area and was easy to contact if necessary. We had the most wonderful stay. We really didn’t want to leave. The surrounding area is gorgeous and it’s just the perfect place to reset your whole nervous system.

• Peter (9/5): Perfect! We’ll be back. - The LAWLEY was easy to find, quiet, and very comfortable. It’s also eco-friendly and tastefully furnished. The view from bedroom #1 is beautiful and I love the sound of the stream in the garden. Will recommend to anyone looking to spend a few days exploring Shrewsbury area and Shropshire AONB.

Every effort was made by the hosts to ensure our stay was flawless. Would 100% recommend any of their properties. Only thing better would be if we could have stayed longer.

• Sabrina (9/5): Hidden Gem, for friends and family - It was the perfect size, peaceful, and had a stunning view from the main bedroom.I really liked the modern décor – it was stylish, comfortable, and gave the place a cosy, welcoming feel. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming – truly lovely people. They went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed upon arrival, providing milk, tea, biscuits, all the necessary kitchen accessories, and fresh towels in the rooms. The Wi-Fi was also surprisingly strong, especially considering the remote location. One small note, the front curtain could offer a bit more privacy, but overall an amazing stay

Also, we had a recurring problem with the front door lock, caused by hot weather expansion. Luckily, there was a back door so we could get out!

• Lynne (10/5): Couldn’t ask for more. - The house was so nice, immaculately clean and great quality everything. Location perfect for us, rural, quiet and by a small stream but close to Shrewsbury and church Stretton. You couldn’t ask for more. Delicious cake left for us along with some milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. A folder with suggestions for places to go was great, I wanted to stay longer just to go and visit a few. Would definitely recommend.

Managed to complete everything for the check out instructions and hope you find the home in a good manner. We most definitely will be back the next time we have stay in Shrewsbury.

• Amy (10/5): A fabulous holiday house with the kindest hosts - We had a great stay at the Lawley. Tracey and family were such lovely hosts and made us feel so incredibly welcome. We arrived late at night and Tracey had very thoughtfully left the lights on for us, we were greeted to a generous welcome hamper and a brilliant box of toys for our son to play with. The property is really well equipped, beds were very comfortable and the towels/bedding were high quality. The house was clean and all in good working order. Easy parking right outside. The horses and ford at the end of the garden were a great addition for our son. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Forge holidays and look forward to seeing Tracey again- Thank you so much!
• Eleanor (10/5): A great place to stay - Really helpful and friendly host. The accommodation was very clean, airy, light and comfortable with modern furnishings. It had all the facilities needed, having been done to a high standard. Everything had been thought of, such as milk in the fridge, dishwasher tablets etc. It was useful to have handbooks with local information and recommendations of pubs/restaurants and local walks. We would highly recommend this place.
• Michele (10/5): We had an amazing stay and loved the property - The property was exceptional, the furnishings were really lovely, beautiful bedding, and very clean. There was everything in the house that you would need. Tracy was very friendly and a lovely touch was the personal card when you arrive and some lovely goodies. The only down side for us was the shared garden/courtyard. We felt when other people were staying next door that it was a bit awkward, as there was only patio table and chairs situated outside the other property. There is a beautiful spot down by the river bank with only 1 picnic bench, so it would have been nice to have some extra seating down there so everyone could enjoy the sun. Possibly some deck chairs in a locked box? But it wouldn't stop us from coming back as amazing find.

• Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - We have just had a 2 night stay! It was perfect! Such a beautiful property, and so tastefully decorated!! All the rooms were light and airy, the beds were so comfortable and the setting was really lovely! The kitchen was so well equipped and the welcoming touch of milk in the fridge and a packet of chocolate biscuits was an added extra! Really close to some good eateries too. We’ll be back! Nothing!
