Guest Reviews
- Hesamedin (10/5): - Very nice and caring hosts, clean rooms, great view of pyramids during brakefast no Lift- but imagine host is waiting downstairs to welcome you and carrying your baggage. Lovely!

- Sabrina (10/5): A beautiful stay that felt like home, with unforgettable views I’ll always cherish. - My stay at Zahira Pyramids in Giza has been truly special.
From the moment I arrived, the staff, reception, and management welcomed me with such warmth that it never felt like I was just checking into a hotel… it felt like I was being welcomed into a home. There’s a genuine family energy here that makes you feel comfortable immediately.
The rooftop views are breathtaking. And my room… I chose the junior suite with the balcony and jacuzzi… has been something beyond just an experience. Waking up every morning to the pyramids is surreal. I leave my window open so that the first thing I see when I wake up is that view… just to remind myself that I’m really here.
I also love the fact that there are plenty of outlets to plug in your electronic devices… and light switches everywhere that allow you to create the exact atmosphere you want inside the room.
The hotel is very clean and well cared for, which matters so much during a longer stay.
The owner, Medo, has been incredibly accommodating and informative. He goes out of his way to help with recommendations and can arrange trips not only around Cairo but throughout Egypt. Having that level of support makes traveling feel easy and supported.
As a female solo traveler, I feel safe here… and that is everything. The energy, the kindness, and the care from the team made this stay memorable.
I would absolutely stay here again. À slightly more consistent shower pressure and temperature would make the stay even more comfortable.

- Aura Ella (8/5): Excellent value for money - The staff, them accommodating us expeditiously after a bad experience somewhere else, them helping our sick friend, all the amenities and service. The cleanliness was unmatched! The water pressure had some issues but the staff resolved it each time.
- DongKeun (10/5): - Great staffs, great views of Nile, great location.
- Concepcion Garcia (8/5): -
- Jarosław (9/5): Udany pobyt w Kairze - Personel.
- huzamri (10/5): - I really enjoy staying in this hotel, the staffs are friendly, the room is clean and the foods is good and convenient location
Molto rumoroso e poco rilassante
- Britta (10/5): Being welcomed like family at Zahira Pyramids - My stay at Zahira Pyramids View was truly unforgettable. From the very first day, I felt incredibly happy and at home because this is a family-run business, and you feel that warmth immediately. I was welcomed so kindly, and already on the first evening I was sitting with the family, chatting, laughing, and sharing sahleb that they thoughtfully ordered for me. It felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed by friends.
They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The rooftop view of the pyramids is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything was very well organized. The location is ideal, only about 10 minutes from the pyramids, and all of this at a very reasonable price.
What truly sets Zahira Pyramids View apart is the care and attention. They helped me organize tours, assisted with gifts including special T-shirts with hieroglyphs for my nephews, helped me with extra luggage, laundry, and so many little details that made my stay completely stress-free. I genuinely felt taken care of at all times.
The entire staff is incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. By the end of my stay, it honestly felt like I had found friends in Egypt. I wholeheartedly recommend Zahira Pyramids View and would absolutely stay here again. Everything was perfect.

- Nail (10/5): Great - Very friendly staff and beautiful view of the pyramids recommend :)
- Valentin (10/5): Un accueil au top 😇 - J’ai vraiment adoré l’établissement. Et son propriétaire est super cool.
- Nusrat (3/5): They don’t have there building’s pictures from outside to show on the website. - Traffic noise which makes it discomfort able. And hotel doesn’t have elevator, you have to use stairs to go on the third floor. There windows are not soundproof.
- Mostafa (10/5): Thank you for your hospitality owners and staff - simple, clean and polite staff all is good
- Qais (1/5): - We didn’t stay… Not as we expect … the location was middle of the street and crowded and the pictures in booking not same as we saw the hotel in front of us …
- Mohammed (10/5): -
- Azra (10/5): -
- Marisol (10/5): Incredible staff and great views! - I had a wonderful stay at Zahira Pyramids view. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The view from the room was spectacular and so was the view when heaving breakfast. I would absolutely recommend and stay here again.
- demir (10/5): Wir werden uns wieder sehen - Sehr sauber sehr nette Leute immer wieder gerne 😃😃🇹🇷🇩🇪
Zu Pyramiden 10 Minuten geh weg
- Jonathan (9/5): - Nice staff, Mohamed and all the staff friendly and nice. They helped with everything.
Hotel organise nice trip for me and served tipical breakfast. They Made me feel home. Great pyramid view.
- Abod (1/5): -
- Rakesh (10/5): An unforgettable stay with stunning pyramid views, spotless rooms, and the warmest hospitality from Mr. Mohammed and Abd - Absolutely amazing stay! The property is just steps away from the Pyramids of Giza—I could literally see them from my bed! The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. This is a family-run hotel, and Mr. Mohammed, the owner, along with his nephew Abdul, are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They went above and beyond—taking us out for fine dining in Cairo, guiding us through shopping in Old Cairo and Giza, and even arranging a beautiful cruise on the Nile. Truly unforgettable hospitality. Highly recommend! It gets bit noisy but that’s part of Egypt living.
- Rob (10/5): - The staff were amazing! Knowledgeable and friendly! What we didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel.
- Imed (10/5): Incredible staff and great customer service. Thanks to the amazing staff ( Mohamed, Magdy, Ibrahim and Abderahman ) my s - The property was very nice and simple. I liked how the room is big and comfortable and clean. Nothing. Everything was worth every penny.
- Jordan (5/5): Passable - Pros:
- nice view of the pyramids from the rooftop and one of the rooms
- spacious rooms at western standards
- attention to guests Cons:
- attention to guests can be overwhelming: waking up guests to ask for breakfast preferences. A “do not disutb” door hold would help. Additionally, a simple system enabling the guest to attach to their door what breakfast to have and at what time would prevent the need to knock on the door
- double vitrage - super noisy
- ONLY one room with a view - the rest is quite bad
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - The service was incredible. Food was great. Rooftop dining area was amazing and we had the best view of the pyramids. Mohemed was a first class owner that treated us exceptionally. 10 star experience. The hotel is perfect but because it is located on the main road, it can be a little noisy at night. Nothing that got in the way of sleep but travellers should be aware of the potential.
- Riccardo (9/5): Superb - Super clean Noise outside. But it’s normal, it’s Cairo, one of the most traffic city.
- Edward (9/5): Such a great stay for good value - The room was really nice. The jacuzzi with pyramid views was amazing. Bathroom was very modern. Magdi and his family were so kind. The place is family-owned with just a few rooms so the family go out of their way to make the guests feel comfortable. It’s on a busy road so it gets noisy. But by the second night, I got used to it and it didn’t bother me any longer.
- Mubashra (10/5): Very welcoming and pleasant hotel to stay at - Everything was true as in the photos, staff were very welcoming, always at hand asking if we are okay and if we need anything, I will definitely be coming back here. Everything was perfect
- Stephan (9/5): This is a place for those who want to experience true Egypt, but not an artifical surrounding similar to Dubai etc. Egyp - excepional friendly host and staff, very close to the Pyramids, great WLAN, very responsive and great service. location is very close to a busy and dusty road. but no noise in the room!
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are good, I loved the hospitality.
The owner of the place cares about the comfort of the guests and is always in touch with us to make sure we’re comfortable.
- Jacques (10/5): Super place to stay, all staff is very helpful!! -
- Darco (10/5): Fantastic place, kind and hospitable staff - Fantastic place! The host was amazing, kind and hospitable. He helped us with everything, gave us the best tips and recommendations and helped set some great guided tours.
The breakfast was great, and the host changed the breakfast menu to make our stay even better after I asked about Lambda, the views of the pyramids was just like in the photo and the terrace is phenomenal.
It was extremely clean and you could even smell the cleanliness when you first entered the room. The jacuzzi is good and the view complimented it.
What I liked most was the kindness and hospitality I felt, and I would absolutely recommend this place! Not much to say about what I didn't like, it was near perfect.
Maybe for some people it would be a bit loud at night as the streets of Cairo are always busy, but for me this was not an issue and it's what you should expect when coming to Egypt.
I really don't have any bad comments to add.
- Kris (10/5): It is completely amazing - If you want to visit Giza, Egypt, Zahira Pyramid is the best place to stay, the owner Mr. Khattab and his staff from reception to housekeeping are very accommodating, they treat us like a real family. The hotel is very clean and they will provide anything you need. If you also need a tour package no need to find coz they have their own tour packages with lots of choices, Mr. Khatab himself will be the one to lead the tour with the best food to offer. He also keep on monitoring us to make sure that we are safe. Magdy from reception are really the best as he guide us to buy some souvenirs. Thanks also to the two beautiful ladies who for prepared our daily sumptous beeakfast❤️.
- Nora (3/5): Poor -
- Kyle (9/5): Amazing staff. Be prepared for noise from the road. - The staff were the best part. So friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for me. I was welcomed with a drink and a bowl of fruit even though I arrived in the early hours of the morning. The room was spotless. I had room 202 which is right next to reception. The staff can and will offer to arrange the tours for you which I highly recommend. Beds were comfy too. The noise. BRING EAR PLUGS. This is a shame but the room was incredibly noisy, the hotel is on the main road and the traffic in Cairo does not stop and it's multiple horns every second. And I truly mean the noise DOES NOT STOP no matter the time of day. I slept fine with ear plugs but it even made watching the TV in the morning a difficult task. Just be aware that the shower isn't that powerful either and wasn't the hottest.
- Annika (9/5): Cute staff and lovely view, even if road is a bit noisy - We only stayed one night, but had a lovely time. What a cute owner - everyone there was friendly and sociable and would have helped if we had wanted any further service, our stay was just short. The room is spacious and the whirlpool placement is as advertized, with pyramid view. (Let them explain to you how to turn it - and the hot water - on.) Pyramids are seen from room and the cute terrace upstairs. Taxi to the airport was 20 €.
The building is also near the papyrus/perfume institute and spice shop that the tours frequent, so if you haven´t been there and want that kind of thing it´s close. There is also a Carrefour about ten min down the road, with fixed prices, so it´s easy to shop there, just beware of the kids outside begging for money.
The only downside is that the building is on a highly frequented road and it is unfortunatly rather noisy, but that cannot be helped in town, just bring earplugs and get used to muezzin calls. Also the rooms are on the third floor, without elevator, but the staircase was clean and proper, unlike other places I´ve seen here.
Thank you guys, and good luck :)
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional - Abdul was very nice, breakfast was perfect, room was clean Everything was okay
- Sara (10/5): A welcoming stay near the pyramids - The hotel is easy to spot with the big Zahira sign. It's perfectly located near Sphinx Airport, and just a 15 minutes' walk through quiet streets to the Giza pyramids complex (or a quick Uber ride away). The Grand Egyptian Museum is also very close by car. The hotel is smaller but it allows the staff to provide more attentive service to each guest. At check-in, we were welcomed by the owners with a fruit platter and hibiscus juice.
The room was spacious and newly renovated. All the personal toiletries were great and the slippers were a thoughtful touch! The bathroom was clean and perfect for hot showers after a long day exploring the pyramids. The Egyptian breakfasts provided were fresh and delicious, and there's a good tea/coffee stall on the ground floor open at most times. The fridge and kettle were helpful.
During our stay, we met Mr Khatab, Mohamed, Ahmad, Magdy, Abdelrahman, Souad and Shaima. They were all wonderful people, easy to talk to and always eager to help but never overbearing. They offer tour packages but aren't pushy about these at all; these are a good option for guests who haven't made independent plans. Their communication before our arrival made it easy to ask questions and prepare for our stay. Thank you all for this wonderful Egyptian experience! Not a negative about the hotel itself but a practical tip: Cairo is a city that never sleeps. The hotel sits at a busy intersection so you'll hear all sorts of vehicles. This is normal for Egypt - you'll find some noise at all times from roads; whether it's vehicles or dogs, or other sounds, no matter where you stay. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
- Brandon (8/5): Very good -
- Leidy (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect.
- Bara (10/5): Exceptional - Staff service was excellent. Very spacious. I would 100% recommend this.
- Slobodan (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very kind, pleasant, always smiling, they want to fulfill your every wish, especially Mohamed. The room is comfortable, clean with new furniture. They organized the trip to Alexandria and Luxor in record time, as well as the much-desired balloon flight. Before leaving, we wanted to have cartouches with engraved names as a souvenir and Ahmed got them and brought them to the hotel very quickly. If we go to Egypt again, we will definitely be their guests again.
- Eng. (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing time at the hotel all clean good view to the pyramids near to everything they served the continental breakfast so clean and arranged
Shout out to Mr. Mohammed he made my stay so special since I was celebrating my anniversary and he provided us a special surprise Nothing
- Afnnan (10/5): We will most definitely come back! - It was close to everything I needed to go to, especially a really cute small standing coffee shop next-door, which made amazing coffee. There was parking spots where you had to parallel park only.
The owners were the most nice and caring and kind people we’ve met in this trip. Every member in that family were amazing and it was very hard to say goodbye to them :( no elevators, but staff carried all my luggage’s and brought them all down.
- Zahra (10/5): Amazing, perfect, loved it - Zahira pyramid view hotel is the most amazing hotel that I have stayed in ever while visiting cairo, the hotel it self is very clean, the breakfast is lovely, and the staff words can't describe I received royalty treatment in zahira pyramid view hotel,I have stayed in many hotels in different countrys but I have to say because of the staff and managers this place has won my heart mr muhammed is a true gem of a person,me and my wife absolutely love it and will visit many times again, also the hotel does its own service for tours which is better than going outside you are always in safe hands and you will have lots off fun with the best prices. I loved everything there is nothing for me to complain about.
- Pavitra (8/5): Amazing people, excellent view of the pyramid. - The location is INCREDIBLE!! You can see the pyramids from your bed or from the jacuzzi! The hosts are suuuuper kind and great people. They served coffee with breakfast which was the best coffee I've ever had, might revisit just for the coffee. They also let us stay in the room wellll past check out to accommodate for our flight even though they had someone coming in after us! The proximity to the main road makes the room very very noisy. There's constant traffic noise. But the hosts were super kind and got us a pair of earplugs! The room was a bit dusty, there was hair in the bathroom, and some remnant food on the food trays that were used to serve breakfast. There's also 3 flights of stairs to climb with no lift. There was nobody to help with our luggage while checking out either.
- Sameh (10/5): An unforgettable experience - everything was marvelous No organized parking was available.
- Carolina (10/5): Exceptional - The guys at the reception are very friendly and helpful. They will help you with anything you need. The tours organized by the hotel were incredible, the guide was very professional and the driver was the best. The room was exactly like the pictures, very cozy and with a view of the pyramids. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Samar (10/5): Exceptional - Everything exceeded my expectations for the value of money i payed for the room. It is very clean and had everything i needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is very close to the pyramids and the grand egyptian museum. Overall it was a great experience.
- Constantine (9/5): In general it was a great experience. I would recommend the place and visit again. - Great renewed rooms. We loved the suite. Friendly and kind workforce. Nice view of the pyramids by the window. Nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast could be better and one of the rooms had a small water heater resulting in lack of the desirable amount of hot water.
- Jonathan (10/5): a day at Zahirah - "A Exceptional Hospitality" that's the best descriptions for the hotelier Mohamed Khatab!
Staying at his hotel, The Zahirah Pyramids View was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making my staycation's perfect! My room 202 was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed, blending modern amenities with warm, local charm. And not to mention the comfort room was also clean and smell's good.
But the real highlight was the view – it’s simply breathtaking! Being able to sleep and wake up to the majestic Pyramids right outside my window was a dream come true. The rooftop area also offered a unique perspective, and watching the sunset there with the pyramids in the background was unforgettable.
The hotel’s location made it easy to explore other nearby attractions, and the team provided excellent recommendations for local experiences. Zahirah Pyramids View truly combines luxury, authenticity, and the best of Egyptian hospitality.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an experience that’s both comfortable and magical!
