- Sam (9/5): Stunning hotel in special setting with brilliant staff - This is a stunning hotel in special setting with brilliant staff. We did half board for two nights with one being the 7 course Saturday meal, both were lovely. This is an ideal getaway for couples and families. Two small gripes (don’t let it stop you booking): 1. The towels & robes need a serious upgrade. It’s like a small 2* motel towel which is weird as everything else is high quality. 2. At breakfast (which is great) you can order bacon and eggs but each time they only gave a single small (good quality) rasher with the two eggs. I’m sure they would give more if you asked but it does feel a bit weird.

- donald (7/5): Lake views nice, accomodations just ok. - View was nice of a pretty lake. Cabin was as pictured, modern and cool, just smaller. Staff mostly friendly, especially at restaurant/bar. Guests should know that the cabins are quite small compared to how they look online. Also be aware of the narrow-ish stairs to most cabins (with luggage it's not great). The giant beautiful windows were dirty and condensation made it hard to see out of them in the morning, which is one of the things we were looking forward to enjoying from our bed. I was hoping to have a nice morning walk/hike, but it is in a kind of neighborhood setting, so walking around feels a bit like you are invading the neighbors' space. Its not as rural and remote as it seems online. The buffet breakfast was decent but limited. There was a waffle maker, but it was serve yourself and it wasn't plugged in. Weird. It's fancy, cool vibe camping, but nothing luxury if that's what you're after. Value was not there for us, as it was expensive for Norway accommodations.

- abdulla (10/5): Excellent stay! Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. - Absolutely loved our stay! The sauna and hot tub were amazing — so relaxing and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful stay!

The dinner of the restaurant was also very good.The room face the river ，so the view is good（but not as good as the view of Fjord in other Fjord town）. The price of the hotel is expensive consider the room is rather basic since there is no table for computer in the room. There was a kettle in the room, but the inner surface was very dirty. We dared not use it.

- Amin (9/5): Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river - One of those unique experience hotels, which it is. Opening the windows in the morning is magical, it can't be overstated. That alone is worth going here. Excellent breakfast. Top notch staff and service. Free parking. We wish we could've stayed to actually enjoy the place and the amenities (Sauna and freezing river dips). Gigantic room. Spiders, spider webs, and dust on ceiling, windows, walls. Very much out of alignment with the rest of the high end vibe.

- Hans (9/5): Super Erlebnis! - Die Aussicht vom Zimmer durch das raumhohe Fenster ist einmalig. Das Design von Hotel, Zimmer und Möbeln ebenfalls. Hat mich begeistert. Sogar das Ruder-Trainingsgerät im Besprechungsraum ist voll gestylt. Frühstück Ok und sehr freundlicher Service. Zimmer eher klein und wenig Ablageflächen. Design steht klar über Funktionalität (Z.Bsp. Bei der Duschebrause). Leider haben wir nicht herausgefunden, wie die Lüftung abgestellt werden kann. Deshalb war es im Zimmer nur gut 21 Grad, obwohl an der Reception 23 Grad eingestellt wurde. Zum Schlafen ok.

Very hard to use the amenities like sauna and hot tub because confusing reservation required for additional fee. We were repeatedly asked if we were guests of the hotel when using sauna. Three course dinner took nearly 2 hours.

- Claire (6/5): Over priced for the standard of service. - Great location and beautiful design. Hot tubs and sauna were really great. The breakfast was poor and very rude staff on the first day. Food and service were ongoing issues through our stay. We had a bad breakfast experience, undercooked chicken with lunch and hugely oversalted dinner to the point it was inedible. No compensation was offered for any of this bad experience. The hotel didn’t charge for the inedible meals but given they ruined our last night on top of multiple previous issues (the room was also not serviced) I feel they should have made more of an effort to compensate us.

This place was even pretty in the rain! - Beautiful structures, lovely location, super accommodating staff/management. Small staff, which is totally fine, but that lead to initial dining inflexibility. That said the staff worked around things to help us. So not really a downside!
