Guest Reviews
- Noriko (10/5): - ロケーションが良かった。 鍵の受け取りロッカーの場所とアパートが離れていて、車が無いと不便。
- Martin (8/5): Comfortable - Great location Hard to get in shower
- Rhind (8/5): - Mostly everything Shower difficult to get in and out of
- Jan (4/5): Disappointed - Toilet not flushed properly, very stained coffee mugs,
Crumbs all over the shelf under the toaster, hairs around the vanity, very cobbled Unstraightened mat in lounge (big trip factor) .
- Searle (5/5): Passable -
- David (8/5): Very good - The only problem we encountered was the shower. You have to step up quite high to get into the bath which the shower is over. My wife has recently had a knee replacement and this proved quite difficult for her to get into the shower.
- Jason (9/5): City Plaza was incredibly convenient for a work trip. Highly recommended for an inner city apartment within easy walking - The property is in a fantastic location, in the midst of cafes, restaurants, bars, theatres and the Canberra Centre for shopping and entertainment. The building is well kept, with a fast lift. The apartment is well appointed and well laid out, with a beautiful, calm outlook onto green trees. Easy communication with the very friendly and accommodating property manager. Canberra was experiencing hot weather and although there is an air-conditioner, due to the apartment’s shape, it does not reach the bedroom, so it made sleeping difficult and uncomfortable.
- Carrie (8/5): Very good - Great location. Easy access. Harry was very accommodating when the hot water system blew. He came straight away. A lack of communication only at the end of my stay.
- Mike (7/5): Good - Location was great. Close to lots of things. Picking up the keys from a different location wasn't ideal, but was fine.
- Beatrice (6/5): Great location but tired apartment and lengthy inconvenient process to get key. - Location was excellent, good security, well equipped Difficult and lengthy to get the key, apartment was very tired, internet slow. Key was about 1 klm from apartment. This wasn’t explained when I booked. If I’d known I would not have booked it.
- Trevor (8/5): very good had a great time and perfect location for us. - The keys were a fair way from the property but instructions were good. The car park is tight for a big 4x4 so they could have told us this. The shower is hard to step and the unit needs a clean at the fan in the bathroom. Overall we were very pleased with the room location and the instructions.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jess (8/5): Comfortable and convenient for a quick Canberra visit - The apartment was in a fantastic location. During my stay I was able to walk to the Canberra Theatre, Floriade, Canberra Shopping Centre and many food options, which was great for someone travelling solo and without a car. I also chose to walk to the office location where the key was waiting in a lockbox; it was a bit of a trek (probably took about 30 minutes to get there and back), but Harry's instructions and directions were easy to follow. It may not be the most modern apartment, but it was comfortable and provided plenty of amenities (e.g. crockery, cookware, tea and sugar, cleaning supplies). It also felt very safe, with the lift requiring the use of the key's token and the front door being locked at night with the same system, to prevent stranger's accessing the building. My one minor criticism would be the fridge, which, perhaps due to age, was quite noisy. The sound was like a small engine running constantly with a rather loud whirring.
- Jarvis (7/5): It was a good affordable place to stay for a week with all the amenities needed, however there were just a few hangups w - Nice bed with touch lamps, as well as a dryer and washer for use. All facilities were usable and it was a good place to stay for a week, it had everything you would need. The view was nice and returning my keys was as simple as just leaving them in my room. I could not change the temperature from cold on the AC to heat up the room but there was also a heater provided so I used that instead.
The bathroom floor was very dirty on arrival, black hairs on the floor and some muddy boot marks which was quite strange as the rest of the place was clean.
The bath also had some yellow residue on the bottom that came off when I first ran water into it, and the water was weirdly very yellow the whole week which I didn’t mind however I developed a rash soon after using that water.
The balcony sliding door in the bedroom could not actually latch properly to seal shut so it let in noise and the cold air.
I also struggled with the key latch on the door to get into the room as it took a bit of finicking for it to actually turn all the way, one time my key got stuck/jammed in the lock and I had to yank it out. Could’ve just been that the latch is old.
- John (4/5): Disappointing -
- Siobhan (8/5): Very good -
- Ulamila (10/5): Love the place - Lovely place to live in. Very clean and excellent view
- Craig (8/5): Very good - Location was good for night facilities, on edge of entertainment precinct with good shopping options, convenient for buses out of city exchange. Apartment clean & well facilitated if you wanted to eat in. Getting keys sounded complex & glitch-prone but actually went exactly as planned. Wasn't clear to me that key was obtained from secure box outside apartment management, so knew where to get assistance after that were I to need it (I didn't). Nothing negative comes to mind.
- Philip (9/5): An excellent place to stay, close to the Canberra Centre, well maintained with good facilities. - The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was in an excellent location, close to the city centre and less than 10 minutes walk from the event I was attending. The initial booking process was messy with poor communication from the host, and I had to collect the key from a different location. Once that was sorted out, all was well.
There were two clocks in the apartment, neither of which showed the right time.
The apartment was on the second floor with no lift, but I was advised of this before I arrived.
- Neilma (8/5): Very comfortable and relaxed environment. - Lovely outlook into the city centre.
Very handy to all shops and restaurants.
Great accessibility with parking. N/a
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glen (7/5): Good - Position was great with good access to areas of city we were interested in Initial issues with both air conditioning and heater were frustrating. Fixed by Harry. After that problem, the air conditioning was incredibly noisy to the point we turned it off part way through the night and relied on replacement heater.
