• Kate (10/5): For a truly memorable stay in the historic centre of Bologna, book this gorgeous apartment! - Absolutely gorgeous, spacious apartment, beautifully decorated and furnished with love and attention to detail. Lovely notes from the owner displayed around the property in beautiful calligraphy handwriting. Feels like home. Kitchen well equipped. Perfect central location. No aircon units in the bedroom and it was extremely hot at night. Lounge air-con unit very loud and is not sufficient to cool the whole flat. Minor things: shower head needs a deep clean to remove limescale and improve the water flow and the toilet roll holders are very frustrating as awkward to reach and the toilet rolls fall of all the time! Don’t want to sound petty as the flat is wonderful!

• Angela (8/5): Truly your own space in your own time. - It’s spaciousness, privacy, cleanliness and convenience to Bologna Centrale. Without doubt a gem in enabling a time in a great city at your own convenience. The climb to the third floor.
• Elizabeth (9/5): Comfortable apartment in excellent location - The apartment was in an amazing location in Bologna! I travelled with my husband, mother-in-law and 9-year old daughter. The space was great for the 4 of us. They kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, bowls, etc. We cooked a few dinners at the apartment with no issue. It was a great base for us as we explored the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. The only downside (for my mother-in-law, not for me) is that the apartment is a walk-up - i.e., no lift, and the stairs are steep. That could be a problem for some.
• Sally (9/5): Perfect stay for a city break. - This apartment is charming and very spacious. It’s a perfect location from which to explore the city. The kitchen is very well equipped. I would definitely rent it again if I return to Bologna. Everything was great. My only small suggestion is that it would be good to have a small file listing admin things, especially about where to get rid of rubbish. On street bins for cardboard and plastic are nearby, but the bins for food waste/ mixed waste can only be accessed with a card and therefore can’t be used by visitors. This however is a very minor comment.

• Nick (8/5): Very good - The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, creating a welcoming, home-like atmosphere. The interiors feature tasteful, quality furnishings, and the apartment is ideally located in a central yet peaceful area. Additionally, it offers charming rooftop views and is maintained to the highest standard We rented the property in December and noticed that the air conditioning system did not appear to be properly installed, allowing cold air to enter and causing drafts. To avoid any confusion, I suggest that all costs be clearly itemized in the final payment. As a consumer, I am only concerned that the total amount charged matches the amount withdrawn from my card, regardless of how VAT or city taxes are allocated

• Javier (3/5): Terrible and refund offered by host not received until Booking intervened. - Location The shower had a leak the first time we used it and the neighbour downstairs frantically came into the house. No water leak was visible and our host asked us to stop using one of the bathrooms, which we did. He then asked us to stop using the other one because they did not know where the leak was, and we agreed. He then decided to have the plumber come in, we asked if it could wait until the day after and they said it could not but Host offered a refund for our inconvenience, which we accepted. Despite asking for the refund, we did not receive it until Booking intervened. Additionally, the electrical system in the house is very old and some of the plugs are dangerous, the cables in the lamps in the main bedroom are very old and the wires are sticking out, which is a risk of electrocution, especially for kids. One of the bathrooms does not have a protective panel and the are lamps next to the bath, which is again an electrical hazard. Also, the Wi-Fi is patchy and does not work well. Lastly, something to bear in mind, which was not disclosed, the property is on the third floor and has no elevator. Hence, lots of stairs, so just to be borne in mind if you have luggage or are not sporty. This property needs serious maintenance and the host is just cashing in without taking care of the guest experience. He offers refunds that he then does not apply unless forced by Booking.

Air conditioning. Very central to the city but also a great place to chill when we needed a wee rest. Loved the period features. Hard to find anything we would change

• Denise (10/5): Beautiful home away from home. - Well located, self contained apartment. Beautifully decorated. Everything you need. Great to be able to relax and feel at home. Nice to be able to do some washing. Lots of space. Would love to stay here again. Great central location, walkable to train station. 3rd floor apartment so you need to be able to walk upstairs with luggage. Not an issue for us but may be for some. Well worth the effort.
• Kyle (7/5): Good - Good location 4th floor of older building near city centre. Very strong air fresheners placed around the apartment. Sewage and cigarette smells at times. A/C was only in the living room, so the bedroom was very hot in summer.

There was a non effective small air conditioner in the living room only ..it was too hot and stuff my in the bedrooms and living room too. Also no elevator and the apartment is 4 flight of stairs which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Wish we knew this before booking.

• Satomi (8/5): Very convenient location and the almost everything equipment was available in the apartment. - Very spacious and beautiful interior Inside the drawers were dusty. When we used air conditioning ,hair dryer and lights in the evening, the electricity was gone. We needed to recover it a few times. As the owner was very kind to explain how to do it however preparing written instruction should have been more useful.

• Sofia (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Casa Beeth was amazing! The apartment was very comfortable and really clean. The decoration is so beautiful. The bathrooms were really awesome with a very vintage aesthetic. The bed at the main bedroom was very comfortable. In the mornings we were drinking our espresso looking out the windows of the house which had a wonderful view of the streets of Bologna with the towers and also the attics of the houses opposite. The location was really ideal, in the most central part of the city. Michele welcomed us with great care and gave us very useful information about the city. We could not have made a better choice for our stay in Bologna. We have nothing to say..we found it a bit expensive but going there we realized that it is worth the money

• Marina (10/5): Lovely alternative to a hotel when staying for more than five days. - Kitchen was well equipped with new appliances and easy to use (once you took the time to check where everything is located); very spacious and the living-dining room had a lot of light during the day. Also nice to have a laundry machine; no dryer, but the clothes dried by the next day on the large folding rack. Wifi and the heating worked well. Location was also excellent, as plenty of food shops and supermarkets in the neighbourhood to stock up, and good restaurants, beautiful shops and a lot of worthwhile museums and places to visit within walking distance. Not exactly a negative, but no elevator, so one should be in reasonably good shape to go up and down the stairs, including with luggage.

Absolutely recommended. Fare price for an exceptional experience. :) The location via google maps was a bit confusing, as it shows the bilding on front of this one. I understand that this have nothing to do with the host. Just raising awareness.
