• Muge (9/5): - I and my husband have stayed in Lydia Mare for two nights.We liked the view from the balcony and the smiling face of the owner most. Stavro was very helpful from the beginning till the end of our stay. He has provided all of the details for our comfort. He tried to solve our mobile phone problem. He organized a taxi from Therma to Agios Kirykos. Actually if you only have backpacks with you you can walk from Therma to Agios Kirykos port for the ferry. There is a path between these two points and it only takes 15min by walking. We needed a taxi because we had 2 luggages with us. Briefly, I can say that you can stay this clean and good located place if you will have a short stay in Ikaria.

• Gina (7/5): Nice, relaxing stay in cozy area. - Great location for thermal baths. Great view of cove/beach area. Nice, quiet area with great restaurant below, a bakery, some small shops, basic groceries nearby, scuba/snorkel shop, and a thermal "spa" in the center. Very small area with a small pier, local fishermen, and beach. Many foreign tourists for baths. A laid back vibe. The room was small, but they did the most they could with the small space: small cooking area, electric kettle and coffee maker under sink, cupboard above with glasses, dishes, etc. Hot plates and pots. Many hooks on the wall for hanging things. The bathroom was very tight with the door hitting the toilet and not able to open all the way, the toilet lid would fall on my back as I was sitting! The bathroom also had a bad smell from the old drains/ plumbing through floor... no window. We kept door shut with fan on. Not a lot of sink space, but back of bathroom door had mirrors and an outlet that you could use to help get ready. Locals mentioned that hot spring had radon in it ...... uh????

• Melike (10/5): - My family and I had a very relaxing stay at Lydia Mare. The hotel is right on the beach with exceptional views. It was priceless to watch the sunrise and sunset from our room every day. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. The owner is a very kind person, he carried my two extremely heavy suitcases to the second floor both on our arrival and on our last day. Thank you for that again and for your hospitality. There are many good restaurants and cafes in the village, we were very impressed with all of them, but among all of them Kritikos really stood out. My daughters and I also went on a snorkeling tour with the diving centre near the hotel. They were lovely people too! Finally, the bar at the far end of the beach is amazing, we had great drinks there while enjoying a great view. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. We hope to visit again next summer. We liked everything. We were actually very sad when it was time to leave.

Αυτό που έκανε πραγματικά τη διαφορά δεν ήταν μόνο ο όμορφος χώρος και η άνεση, αλλά οι ίδιοι οι άνθρωποι που το διαχειρίζονται. Με αληθινή ευγένεια, χαμόγελο και διάθεση προσφοράς, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν να βρισκόμασταν στο σπίτι μας. Η φιλοξενία τους δεν περιορίστηκε στα τυπικά· ήταν φιλότιμη, ουσιαστική και ειλικρινής, κάτι που σπάνια συναντά κανείς. Μας αγκάλιασαν με ζεστασιά, φρόντισαν κάθε λεπτομέρεια και μας έκαναν να αισθανθούμε όχι απλώς φιλοξενούμενοι, αλλά φίλοι. • John (9/5): Great location - The location and the view are just great. Quick access to the sea, the hot springs and the restaurants. The lady in charge of the hotel is helpful and welcoming. From our room, the sea view was somewhat spoilt by the building in front of the hotel. We would describe it as a harbour view rather than a sea view. The description of the hotel mentions a free parking. Actually that's untrue and we had to park in the streets which can be more or less difficult depending on the time of the day. It wasn't very convenient for dropping off luggage.

The room also had some equipment to make a coffee, simple meal etc. We recommend this place! We would like to find some samples of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. • Mayssoun (10/5): Exceptional - I booked with Lydia Marie for 20 days. I have never felt better than I did here. It is a really authentic atmosphere where you have a mineral spring right outside with a great beach. There are also several restaurants, my very best was AYPA! The family runs the place with love and respect for the guests. They are so helpful with whatever you wonder and need. The room was fresh and spacious and there was everything I needed available. I highly recommend this accommodation.
• Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful—he supported us to get a transfer for us from the port. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade for one of our rooms. The house is just a short walk from the beach, perfect for relaxing days by the sea. Plus, the next bigger village is only about a 20-minute walk away, so it was easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay!

Sitting on the balcony and having breakfast whilst admiring the beach, listening to the waves lap the shore, looking at the surrounding mountains and the island of Samos on the horizon was absolutely wonderful! I could also see the view from sitting on the bed or from the small table inside the room. Just heaven! The room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I also must say that the family who run Lydia Mare are fabulous! Right from the start, they were friendly and went out of their way to make my stay hugely enjoyable; I cannot thank them enough; merci beaucoup και ευχαριστώ πολύ! And I must say a huge thank you also to the wonderful Valenthina who always greeted me with a smile; Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ Βαλεντίνα! I definitely chose the best place to stay in Therma, and I would gladly recommend Lydia Mare to everyone; as a single female traveller for this holiday, I felt very safe there.

• David (10/5): Exceptional - George and Bridget were excellent hosts, giving advice and local knowledge. The rooms are a stones throw from the beach and Taverna's. The hot springs are very popular and a must for all visitors. All the Taverna's are of a high standard. A friendly, relaxing resort,a must return destination. No local food shop,but a 5€ taxi ride or 20 minutes walk takes you to Agios Kirykos where there is a choice.

Small but adequate kitchen area. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Beautiful bay with thermal springs adjacent and numerous restaurants and bars - absolutely perfect location. 20 minute (very scenic but hot) walk over the hill to Agios Kirykos. No convenience store open in the village where we could buy some basic food/drink (although there was a shop being fitted out while we were there) so it required a hike over to Agios Kirykos for any supplies.

The hotel location is good, the cleanliness is great and the Avra ​​restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, just 1 minute away. Stay at this hotel and eat something at Avra. Also, check the dates of the Panigiri festival on the internet and try to go, music and dance There is nothing I don't like, I hope to go again :)

Ikaria Therma location is a tiny area where there are only few restaurants and nothing more than a sea. So while going there, keep this in mind It was old and the room was not with a sea view as purchased.

Recommended❤️ - The property was great in terms of location and also the room although didn’t have a balcony, it kept a cool temperature throughout the day which was great in the midst of the heatwave. The owner was super friendly and helpful! The amenities were basic but we didn’t really need anything else. Actually, It was very value for money. My only comment would be about the shower.. there was no curtain and the water would just go everywhere and there was no mop available in the room. I think it’s a minor inconvenience but easily fixable too..

The beach is beautiful and the hot springs are something to experience! Our room was one of the few that didn't have a view cause there was a building in front. It was a late booking and actually was the only one available for our dates .
• Fay (9/5): Superb - Perfect position, right on the beach. Amazing views. A beautiful area.. so peaceful and calm. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend a visit.
