Guest Reviews
Molto pulito.
Colazione ottima e abbondante!
Personale molto gentile e accogliente.
Bagno enorme e molto pulito.
. Ho dato 9 solo perché in bagno c'era un odore molto forte.
- Kathryn (8/5): Short stay at Vivaana - Lovely sympathetically renovated haveli. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. Interesting, well-prepared meals. Nice town views from balcony & terrace. Contemporary, comfortable rooms. Guest lounge & pool terrace were lovely.
Bonus: we loved the musician playing the sitar after dinner. You need to watch your step (in and out of the room, into the bathroom etc).
Rooms open inwardly on to a central metal grid-style walkway. A little noisy when we arrived but it was quiet at night.
- Guest (8/5): I slept well which was the exeption on this trip - Some communication difficulty in the diningroom, used Google translate to sort it out, no big deal.
- Tom (9/5): Excellent pit stop in the Shekawati region - Great location in the middle of Nawalgarh, very helpful staff and a great restaurant in the evening. Comfortable bed and room, small pool on the rooftop. agreat guide called 'Chocolate: was arranged who was very interesting and knowledgable
- Diana (9/5): Great option for this district but beware only vegetarian - New hotel which has been nicely renovated to preserve its heritage while still providing modern facilities. Character with comfort. Lovely attentive staff who were keen to show the benefits of their hotel. Breakfast was fantastic - coffee was some of the best we have had in India and the staff clearly made every attempt to find things for foreigners to eat. Bit fed up with finding hotels just providing vegetarian food although this hotel did at least do eggs for breakfast. Pizza was a decent attempt but could be better. Hotel is an oasis in a sea of modern horrible sprawl full of noisy motor vehicles and loud music. Overall I found the whole area slightly disappointing as it was so run down.
- Agarwal (7/5): Might revisit :) - The food is really good
The staff is very warm and humble specially the chef and atif
They arranged a special Rajasthani meal for us
The cleanliness is on point
The concept to educate more about the locality, culture and heritage through the museum was great! We had to cut short out Saturday night dinner as the neighbours started yelling
The portion size of dishes is really small and the service is a little slow. I was with a group of 7, had to order multiple servings.
The height of the bed is uncomfortable high for old age parents. There should be some support to climb for old people.
