• Suzanne (10/5): - Kilmore Quay is a delightful village with good pubs, cafes, and restaurants. We really enjoyed staying at Quay House, because we could leave the car there and walk everywhere. We also took a ferry around the Saltee Islands to see puffins and many other seabirds. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. No complaints! I stupidly left something behind but was told that I could send a stamped envelope to have it returned, which is great.

• Ian (10/5): A beautiful property in a great location with clean spacious rooms and private parking. - The property is very clean and bright. The room I had (room 1) was very spacious with a double and a single bed. The en-suite had a shower over a bath and again was very clean if a little dated. Self check in was straightforward although Pat was about the property when I arrived if help were needed. Pat recommended places to eat and was a charming host The location is excellent, being three to four minutes walk from the harbour Parking is great as the property has a large rear yard and I was able to park my motorcycle at my bedroom window, and out of sight of the road. Nothing!

Da wir es gewohnt waren in B&Bs immer selbst Frühstück zu machen, war der 50cm hohe, 50x50 kleine Tisch nicht so toll. (Zimmer 2) Wenn man nicht auf die Saltees will, gibt es so gut wie nix in der Nähe. Vielleicht im Sommer Strände, das ist aber im April uninteressant...

Also thought breakfast was included but it wasn't. Location was pretty good. Parking was easy. Distance to town, ocean, hiking and restaurant was good. Breakfast facilities on site would have been great. Acomodations were spartan. Carpeting or at least a rug would have been nice.

Der Besitzer war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Ausstattung lässt an nichts missen. Leider wurde uns bei der Buchung ein falsches Zimmer zugeteilt, was in einem unangenehmen aufeinandertreffen mitten in der Nacht mit einem anderen Gast zur Folge hatte. Nach einem kurzen Telefonat mit dem freundlichen Besitzer konnte das Problem aber schnell behoben werden

• Veronika (9/5): Eine sehr angenehme erste Nacht in Irland nach einer langen Fährfahrt! - Die Lage ist wunderschön, mit Blick auf den kleinen Fischereihafen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit einem wunderschönen Bad und der Möglichkeit Tee und Kaffee zu kochen. Leider kamen wir erst spät in der Nacht an und trafen den Besitzer nicht an. Früstück wird nicht angeboten. Aber in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es sehr gute Früstücksmöglichkeiten. Früstück wäre schön gewesen. Ansonsten alles großartig und wir kommen gerne wieder!
