• BARRY (9/5): - A small hotel with outstanding staff. The hotel is a 12 min walk from the Plaza de Aramas largely along shaded residential streets. The area is very safe and the hotel itself is in a gated area. Breakfast is not a buffet but from a large list, individually prepared. The restaurant is excellent and offers a wide selection of Peruvian and international options. Beds are large and comfortable and immaculately clean. Good bathroom. Roo.m had fridge and kettle. Not much to say apart that the hotel has a slightly echoing basis that could be an issue if there were lots of children or groups but the hotel doesn't seem to attract this clientele. Not an issue during our 6 day stay.
• Liam (2/5): Not good value for money & dishonest with charges - Restaurant is good and staff up there are great, bed is comfy. They also let us cancel a night. 1. They charge an 8% fee on top of the booking.com cost for “services” 2. Be very careful on the payment!! - they charged us in soles and we later noticed that this cost was almost 30% more than the cost we were expecting. We came down to ask them about this and the lady said oh yes that’s because we use our own exchange rate of dollars to soles which is ridiculously higher than the actual exchange rate, but we can always charge you in dollars if you prefer. This seemed like an intentional scam - why would we want to pay in soles as clear foreigners when it incurs such a ridiculous charge, obviously we want to pay in dollars. I also found the lady at reception pretty rude and dismissive. 3. Gym weights machine does not work, gym equipment is pretty pathetic except for the running machines. 4. Location is 15 minute drive from the old center and really hard to get a cab because none of them are in this area.

Había un perro que ladrada a las 5 de la mañana todos los días. Y los ruidos del pasillo del personal y los otros pasajeros no dejaban dormir bien, luego del amanecer.

• Hana (7/5): Horrible breakfast - The location was great, quiet and safe. The room was spacious and comfortable. The receptionist called Miriam was very unfriendly when we arrived and also she said we have to pay immediately even we were in hotel for few nights and told her we want to pay in cash but we need first to exchange euros and would pay everything next day. Not mentioning the breakfast, in 4star hotel there should be drinkable water by reception and by breakfast. The breakfast was a la table, 1piece cheese, 1 piece of ham and 3 boiled eggs with 2 breads. When we asked for more bread and juice, the lady looked unhappy but brought it to us.I don't recommend this hotel at all especially for the breakfast.

The parking is in front of the hotel, rather than within a secure premises; however we felt quite confident, as the road is in an affluent area, which is gated and guarded.

• Kim (9/5): A nice quiet place to stay - Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was modern with a big comfortable armchair. Being in a residential neighborhood it was quiet at night. The curtains were good in blocking out the street light at night. While the sink in the bathroom is very stylish, it isn't practical in use. Breakfast service was not as smooth as it could have been. Juice and fruit were delivered promptly but there was a long space between the main dish and accompanying bread.
• Karey (10/5): Lovely hotel in a quiet location with a great restaurant. - Lobby is big for lounging, restaurant is stellar with nice view of mountains - breakfast is off the menu and included. Beds are comfy, towels big and soft. In a quiet location and only a 20 min. walk to the central plaza (or 7 soles via Uber). Would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room.

• Nicola (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our stay. The room was big, the shower was great, the room and the hotel in general were spotlessly clean. The staff were also very helpful and the food in the restaurant was good (both dinner and breakfast). The location is a bit far away from the Plaza de Armas, but you can get there quickly by taxi, and the advantage is that the surroundings are a bit quieter.

• Liz (10/5): Amazing, affordable, and memorable stay. - The service was impeccable. We arrived early but was still allowed to check in before the check in time. The location is about 5-10 minute drive from down town but that meant it was a great location away from the noise and hustle and bustle. The included breakfast was also top notched and not just your boring continental breakfast. You chose from crepes, chicharronnes, sandwiches, and omelets. The front desk personnel were amazing and helped us get taxies. Lastly, the rooms were extremely comfortable and the beds were also very comfortable. The rooms had hot and warm water pressure, we'd totally go there again if we were staying in Arequipa.

Not right in the middle of the historic centre but we enjoyed being in a quieter neighbourhood and the (20 min) walk was pleasant into the town. Also close to a historic bridge with good views of the various volcanoes. Nice, freshly made breakfast. Excellent lunch/ dinner food with room service (great after a long flight). Tepid, sometimes cold shower.

• Jakub (8/5): Very good - Very friendly staff. They really try to make your stay very comfortable and try to make you feel as safe as possible. The rooms are very loud since the doors leading to the inner corridors are simply not providing any sound proofing. The same with the balcony and windows facing the street. This actually made sleeping hard for me. Changing that would really make this hotel very good.
• Sergio (9/5): Super nice and friendly hotel in a nice residential area, but close to the city center by taxi. - Beautiful, modern, and comfortable hotel, in a nice residential area (San Isidro), but close to the city center by taxi (US$ 2). The room and bathroom were of a good size, everything worked fine, and there is good space to put clothes too. Beds are comfy and there is plenty of pillows. If I had to point out something to make the rooms better, is that hangers may be installed in one of the walls of the entrance passage to the room, that is big and spacious, and would be very convenient to hang jackets and coats. Staff is friendly and attentive. The photos look exactly as the facilities are. Breakfast is now being served by order from a few choices, either at the room or at the beautiful rooftop restaurant (so no buffet is available) and is good. There is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge two blocks from the hotel which was built by Gustave Eiffel -nice views to the mountains, the Misti and the river from there, worth the visit. Finally, there is a huge supermarket (Tottus) just steps away. In few words, super value for your money. I would definitively stay there again. Nothing.
