• Richard (10/5): Lovely friendly place. Basic but if you want somewhere friendly, handy, value for money, its perfect - Lovely stay and really nice meeting Bill. He is such an interesting guy and very cool to see the laser engraving in action too. Had a lovely pawpaw for breakfast too.

• Jayanraj (10/5): Humble host and place in Rarotonga - Kia Orana. I spent 7 days at Mr Bill's place and it was so cool. Master of all Mr Bill had travelled all over the world in 1960s and 1970s including places so remote that you need Google map to zoom in. His place has everything you need for self-catering. Just 15 minutes walk to 24x7 Open Super Brown supermarket for food stuff. Since the place is on Ring road you can use public buses if running. I highly recommend this place for staying as well as listeing travel stories from Mr Bill. Meitaki !!! .
• Elena (10/5): Thanks to Bill, amazing host! If you have the chance to meet him he has some incredible storie to sh - Everything was amazing. Fresh fruit, water in the fridge at arrival. Few steps from the beach, you can literally hear the ocean from your room. The living room is quite big and the kitchen has everything you need. The bedroom is large with space for your luggage. Toilet and shower are really good too. Everything clean and nice!
• Amy (10/5): Slice of paradise - Such a wonderful, clean and comforting place to stay in Rarotonga. Right on the beach, the views were insane and we could catch a perfect sunrise every morning. Tucked away from the main road, we felt like we were in paradise. The hosts Bill and Pasha are so lovely. As a first time traveler, I was super grateful for how much help we received before we even arrived in Rarotonga. The hosts provided us with lots of information on how to get around, car rentals, activities and all the neat tips and tricks for staying here. We will definitely be returning!

The hoses were wonderful, privacy was maintained as well as providing a friendly home environment .
• Moira (8/5): I really enjoyed staying at Barefoot, it was exactly what I needed it. - Very friendly, quiet and safe. I enjoyed my stay here and the relaxing atmosphere the surroundings provide. For me, being away from town was a bonus. Thank you! Perhaps having a bit more clarity of what to do with the rubbish, would be great. If they recycle or not, where to put the rubbish and if there is a specific day for it.
• Meg (9/5): I had a fabulous time at Barefoot Base and would definitely stay there again. - I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Base. I was travelling on my own and felt perfectly safe. The location was perfect - I could walk one way to Muri and the other way into town. The bus would stop right out the front and there was a supermarket just down the road. I loved going to the Love Cafe in the morning - again, just down the road. the local people were very friendly, stopping to ask if I needed a lift whenever they saw me. I loved the peace and quiet and going to sleep listening to the ocean. Thank you Pasha and Bill.
