Guest Reviews
- Vorobeitchik (9/5): -
- Maria Isabel (9/5): -
- Eddie (3/5): Won't return - Excellent location for my needs Dated, shabby, damp smell.
- lisa (7/5): Great flat. Brilliant location. Other guest spoil it - Location facilities Very noisy upstairs flat. Till 2am again at 6am kids running up and down banging.
- Ulises (6/5): -
- Lynn (8/5): - Great location, parking permit very reasonable Perhaps decor could be updated slightly
- John (8/5): It was very relaxing overall and very good value. - We have stayed at the flat before and love the location near the seafront. The flat could do with some window insulation to keep in the heat and the weather could hear some music from upstairs one night that spoiled our peace.
- brandon (9/5): - Perfect for a quick weekend in town, just down the road from the town centre, a stones throw from the beach and cheap parking right outside. The apartment was tidy and the shower was good.
- Dilan (8/5): We were there for a dance comp so location was great as it was a short walk to the winter garden theatre. It fit the bil - The location was fab The old coin meter for the electricity
- Julian (8/5): Great for a short break. - Large size studio room, with well equipped kitchen area, and handily located for my needs. Good value even including the money I had to put in the electric meter. The room had one set of windows that overlooks the side of the hotel next door. They have security lights which are motion activated, so even with the curtains closed, you got flashes when there was movement outside. Lining the curtains would help combat this.

- Ramanathan (8/5): Family stay experience - The property reside in prime location close to beach and friendly staffs are amazing they are helpful and more professionals. Staffs always ensure the guests safety and advice to take right discussion. The accommodation is silent and easy access to shop, beach, restaurants etc., Cleanliness in the living area it's not bad but need to improve. Cooking vessel needs to improve not utensils
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Gilca (9/5): Superb -
- Mario (3/5): Poor - Close to sea front Smelly old place
- Andrew (7/5): Good - Apartment was clean and comfortable.
Good location.
Friendly warm welcoming staff. The noise of bins be collected very early in the morning from the side of the Haddon Hotel.
Also sensor security light from Haddon Hotel shines directly into the room.
- Matt (3/5): The apartment with hidden surprise - I liked the location, full equiped kitchen, the price would be okay if not the coin operated electricity meter We got the ground floor apartment and the smell there was unbearable. I don't know what is the cause of that smell maybe old dirty furniture, maybe the rug or maybe funguses from dampness. All the clothes soaked in the smell of the apartment
Most of the kitchen utensils weren't cleaned properly so we had to rewash everything from the food leftovers and lipstick marks
Flush in the toilet created loud squeaky noise.
No pictures of the apartment we're provided beforehand we expected to have bath as stated in description but had only shower
Since it's the ground floor apartment is quite cold so you will require lots of change to top up the meter so the apartments would be heated properly
The hotel cannot give you the coins from your credit card they only accept cash.
The electricity cost me around 20 additional pounds for 3 nights stay
Please take the things mentioned above in consideration before booking
- Jemma (3/5): Wouldn't stay again as had awful bed caused us pain and had no sleep! Come away so exhausted. - Enough space. Great locatio. Easy for parking £2.20 a day. So close to the bandstand. The bed is like sleeping on the floor. Slept so awful. Come away from our holiday exhausted. Had hip and back pains constantly when in bed and I'm a healthy 34 year old! Oven didn't work either. People saying about the smell in reviews it does but once aired out for half hour it's ok. Whole in the ceiling and cracks in the walls. TV in room just kept glitching so turned it off.
- Wendy (10/5): Large comfortable apartment - Large comfortable bed.
2 televisionns living room and bedroom and dvd
Great kitchen.
Good seating area Need new pair of scissors.
- Paul (6/5): Location good , room was ok - Close to town centre Smelt of damp and need to replace shower hose as leaking not really coming out of the shower head
- Michael (9/5): Spent 4 enjoyable days in Eastbourne. - Good location close to front. Flat very clean and comfortable. Good value for money.
- Prasant (3/5): Poor -
- Stephen (8/5): Nice clean apartment close to beach but entrance hall shabby and electricity by coins in meter. - Great location within walking distance of beach. Apartment itself was great, clean, modern and well equipped. Nicely decorated. Rooms are spacious and good for family of four. Hallway leading to apartment is very shabby and damp/musty smell, although inside the apartment itself is good. A lick of paint and a cheap new carpet would transform the hallway! Electricity is by £1 coin in meter which feels very old-fashioned and petty, and is mildly inconvenient. We were a family of four and we found we needed about 2 pound coins per day to provide for showers, cooking and kettle. The hotel next door who own the apartment could provide pound coins for electricity meter.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (10/5): I thought the staff were lovely . Super helpful. - The location was perfect right next to the beach. The flat was lovely and quiet.
- Hazel (8/5): Wonderful relaxing break 2 minute walk from the sea - Great location and excellent value for a self contained apartment with kitchen The bedroom window was broken and had to be propped open, the kitchen could have done with a couple of larger frying pans and cooking pots
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Babs (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment was on the top floor, there was 8 flights of stairs to go up.my husband has breathing problems, and I have hip and back problems. Also having to pay for the electric extra is bad. Also the 2 tvs did not work properly. Also rust on outside of fridge freezer.
- Nadiia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was good Electricity finished very quickly
- Sharon (1/5): Horrible, I wouldn't stay again if it was free!! - Location Standard of accommodation
It smells very badly of damp
Mould was thick on the window sills
I now have a chest infection and am sure it was from staying there.
- Julian (8/5): Reasonable value and facilities - Good location and facilities Deposit seemed pointless and a bit worrying, but got it back at the end with no problems. Twin beds were so close together they were effectively a double.
- Jem (8/5): Very good -
- Fok-seang (7/5): Good -
- Abi (7/5): Helpful staff and good location - The property was clean and close to the beach and the centre. You need to pay additionally for your electricity . Also , the windows can’t be opened , so no fresh air . There wasn’t bedding for the sofa bed for the first night.
- Leanne (10/5): Amazing time will stay again - Was very clean and maintained loved the open plan and the design Actually can’t fault it
- Valerie (3/5): Not very enjoyable - The location was fine, but the flat shabby and diappointing. Shabby old fashioned flat - no bedside tables, large damp patch on one wall, bathroom door disn't shut, TV system went wrong, shower themostat dodgy.
- Roline (8/5): Great stay and everything we needed - Close to seaside.Quiet location and supportive staff. We will stay again. We like all of it - would just mention that the base of the sofabed in the sitting room seems a bit fragile - had to put mattress on the floor.
- Soji (8/5): Memorable! - Apartment was as described and had everything we needed to make the time spent memorable. I recommend this apartment to the discerning traveller who needs that deserved break. Everything suited my needs
- Jem (9/5): Superb - The holiday flats were a great stay and the staff at the Haddon Hotel next door were superb, all queries dealt with and done in a pleasant, professional manner. Will book again for sure in the future. Highly recommend. Only complaint is wifi was free in reception but not in rooms.
- Juliane (8/5): Very good - Great location, spacious, friendly staff. The floor was a little dirty. You have to insert coins for electricity (you pay for the electricity that you are actually using). The second blanket didn't have bed linen (we were three people). A bigger pot for cooking was missing.
- Dermot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (9/5): Superb -
- Tai (7/5): Good - Familiarity It was very cold.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Had everything that was needed and in good location, friendly staff, very comfy bed Nothing
- Avril (9/5): Superb - Value for money ,clean and provided adequate facilities for a short stay ,central location and staff very helpful . The shower wasn't the best but ok
- Rosalyn (9/5): Superb - Great flat, in an excellent location. The use of the hotel next door was an added bonus.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - very comfortable flat very close to beach. Although the power was “pay by use” there was already money
on it when we arrived and we didn’t use all of it before we left so it’s not something to worry about. staff were very friendly and helpful.
- David (9/5): Just what I expected - No breakfast
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elena (10/5): Amazing - Everything
- Jonathan (4/5): If you dont mind sleeping on sofa its fine and remember 50p’s for the meter. - Great location Top floor so exhausted by the countless flight of stairs, TV’s did not work, bed broken & extremely uncomfortable.
- Kirsty (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location, really comfy and good use of the space. Needs a bit of decorating here and there. Purely cosmetic though.
- Caroline (6/5): All in all an enjoyable stay and good value for price/time of year. - Good location Property smelt musty on entrance, although flat itself didn't. Electricity being an extra. No cover for quilt fir sofa bed.
- Diana (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent, cosy flat x Would have been good that shower had had shower curtains or shower doors,to stop water from splashing outside the tub x
- Thomas (9/5): Recommend for a short stay. Great prices and within 5 minutes from town centre and beach - Flat was good. Shower was very small and front door very stiff to shut. I had to supply my own towel which I was told but I personally think they could be supplied as they own a hotel next door. There was nothing I really didn't like apart from the shower being too small.
- Poobarlen (10/5): Excellent. Customer Service - Everything None
- Wiegand (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (8/5): Nice flat - recommended. - Location is perfect, few min walk to the sea and also just may be 5-7 min walk from the station.
The bed was very comfortable and also the sofa bed in sitting area was nice as well.
Kitchen is fully equipped with all cutleries you need for a short stay. Nothing
- David (8/5): A nice quiet time, but struggled with the stairs. - In a great Location.
In a quiet Area.
Very friendly staff.
Good value for money. The Stairs.
Being on the top floor considering our age.
Parking.
- Lorenzo (8/5): Very good -
- Rosie (7/5): Good - .Easy access to the beach and restaurants as well as the tennis tournament. Very spacious and facilities to cook if you wanted to. Parking outside Smelt a bit musty on entry but this went after opening window. Had to take own towels. Litter in the access area.
- Svetlana (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the space and location, and service.
- Justine (9/5): Superb - Friendly, welcoming staff. Helpful and even when busy, still delt with us promptly. Everything explained to us about the stay and offered us the facilities of the hotel too. Flat was furnished well and we would stay there again. Nothing, liked the flat.
- George (3/5): Don’t bother if you want basic comfort - Location close to the beach Bathroom dated and shower had no power. Coin meter for electricity made you feel you were in a bail hostel. in fact not sure whether the flats were being used to house homeless.
- Atuyotan (8/5): Very good -
- Garry (10/5): Always good to stay here - We have stayed here before, never had any problems
- Subrato (1/5): Bad experience - Location and its proximity to the beach. It is surrounded by good amount of parking space and u can for 2.50 full day which was a great to have. The Complete experience was very bad and we had to move out from the premise after day 1 out of 3 day holidays . When search in booking.com, it was never mentioned properly for prepaid meter to be paid through 1 pound coin for electricity. In the property it has a coin meter which u need to top up by a pound coin. All equipment including heating, hot water, kitchen cooking plate runs on electricity. I have to wake up in the night to top up. Never thought in a holiday have to do all this. This is wrong where they didn't put it on the ad properly but a small disclaimer at the end of the ad where 99% people don't go and read
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - Very handy location for our trip. Great communication evert time I messaged them Electric meter initially but got used to it and was handy to realise what uses up electricity quicker
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Omar (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (8/5): Very good - All was good nice place Had a few issues with the room which where soon dealt with put the censor
Light on the.hotel wall was a problem going on off all night
- Bonnie (6/5): Pleasant - The property was over all comfy but is in need of some decoration as was showing signs of wear. Overall was clean and pleasant to stay in.
- Wood (7/5): Good - Good
- Eileen (8/5): Very good value for money, excellent location ,high standard of cleani ng - Not applicable Shower could have been better
No screen ,short shower over bath.
- Doha (9/5): Superb -
- Gabriela (8/5): Very good -
- Muriel (10/5): had a wonderful time. Cant thank the staff at Hadfon Hall Hotel enough for their help. - so close to Airshow.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (8/5): A thoroughly enjoyable weekend in a light, airy, comfortable and clean studio flat. - NA Th e electricity meter - feeding it with £1 coins
- Holovcak (8/5): Very good - very close to the sea, large rooms, friendley staff, nice place to stay. need more clening ,especially in the corners of the rooms lots of spider webs, but overall very good
- Ashford (7/5): Good - The sofa bed wasn't overly comfortable but we put the mattress on the floor and then it was fine. The staff at the reception were really helpful and the buffet lunch was reasonable and tasty. The room was reasonably big for the price and two tv's which was handy. Thanks for a lovely stay. Su, Jon, Hannah and Riley. The sofa bed
- Mara (9/5): A very comfortable, enjoyable and pleasant stay in a lovely space. - The flat was lovely and spacious, it was very clean and organised too. The entire building it very inviting and value for money is amazing! We loved our little studio flat and would definitely recommend it to others :)
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Jean-pierre (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (3/5): Except little from the room or assistance from hotel. - The bed in the second flat we were in was very comfortable. And the flat was spacious I’m not sure where to start. When we arrived the first room we were in was dirty and had a funny smell. the toilet didn’t work or the TV. We contact the hotel next door and was told someone would come in morning I said this wasn’t acceptable as late at night. the lady on phone was very rude and smarmy. we were given a chance to move to a different room. the room was bigger not as dirty. luckily no smell. But we noticed a door that we believed led nowhere. we tried the door as it kept banging in the wind. we then found it was a fire escape. the door had no sign and we were concerned that our disabled daughter could get up at night and go through the wrong door as it was in front of her bed. which would of meant if she had gone out there was no handle on opposite side. the handle was lose and the door generally felt unsecured. we contacted the hotel that same night to ask them out a sign on door and to put a slider lock on. this wasn’t just done for us as small kids could use this to get out of room. once the change was done the handle was replaced and a slider put on and a fire exit sticker as well. this wasn’t achieved till morning. once the handyman was there we also asked for shower head to be fixed as we had to shower each other. I believe this wasn’t done as we were seen as a nuisance. ALSO BE AWARE YOU SIGN A TENANCY AGREEMENT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. and make sure you get them check the room for damage before you leave
- Johnson (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - We had a very good break thanks to the staff everything we needed was there.
- Kirsty (7/5): Good -
