- Miss Michelle (8/5): All round great villa with everything you need in a perfect location near to all amenities - Clean spacious great location Pool rather small
- Douglas (8/5): Villa Tami - Location was great, pool was bigger than expected, as was villa, 3 bathrooms a real bonus The address is wrong meaning the taxi dropped us at the wrong location. The villa has no signs or directions. Upstairs bathroom shower leaks. Various empty boxes left lying around villa.
- GEORGE (7/5): Very nice and comfortable villa in a great location. - Very nice and comfortable villa in a great location. The complimentary toiletries, shampoo and shower gel, were tiny and didn't last long. A spare toilet roll or 2 would have been nice.
- John (10/5): John from Ireland đŽđŞ - It was very central, very spacious with everything you need, Ricardo was very helpful on our arrival. There was an issue with the water, but it was sorted out immediately. I highly recommend đ
- Alasdair (2/5): Very disappointed that the pool was too dirty to use throughout our stay! - Good location for beach, shops, restaurants The pool (the âstand-out featureâ!) was dirty with dirt and debris in the water, staining on the bottom and around the sides. The pump also appeared not to be working. I reported this the day after we arrived and was told it would be attended to asap. I messaged again the following day when it was not cleaned and was told it had been due to high winds and it would be treated as a priority! I messaged again the next day as it had still not been cleaned and was told staff would be attending the following day to clean the villa (a priority or part of a routine visit?). The next day someone used a net to lift debris from the water (which we could have done ourselves) but did not clean the pool! The following morning the water level in the pool had dropped several inches! There was also a leak from the boiler on that day which I reported and the owner visited promptly to fix, looked at the pool and realised that the pump was blocked! He fixed that - but the pool remained dirty! The boiler was leaking again when we left! Additional issues which I didnât report, but wish I had, include two of the three showers providing no hot water, an armchair with a broken leg which was not safe to sit on, internal doors that were ill-fitting in their frames, door locks that were difficult to operate and needed lubrication, and a temperamental key box! Oh, there was also just one wine glass when we arrived - the owner did have a box of wine glasses dropped off (a pity he didnât have the pool cleaned at the same time!). I did express my disappointment to the owner before leaving and asked for compensation but received no reply!

- sarah (5/5): - Great location, lovely villa, great space No hot water in the 2 upstairs showers, and 30 mins heating up.between using the shower downstairs, property management, didn't come to fix it, after numerous requests from ourselves and bookings.com
- Scott (8/5): Great place to stay, but could be fantastic. - Location, accommodation space and facilities were really good, villa was clean and modern, and beds were very comfortable. Issues with no towels on arrival, this was rectified late in the afternoon of the 2nd day, heavy rain on last day resulted in water ingress at front door and spread to the living area, we moped it out and used towels after notifying of issue when really it shouldn't happen and someone attended.
- Victoria (9/5): Had a lovely time, took 1 mark off the 10 for the water and 1 off for the uncomfortable bed. Then added one back on for - Great location, lovely villa, clean and roomy with everything you need. We were also allowed to arrange a late check out which in essence gave us an extra day on the beach! The bed in the main bedroom was great but the other two were a bit uncomfortable.
Struggled to get hot water in the morning, evening was fine, assuming itâs down to solar panels but not too inconvenient, we just showered in the evening or had a cooler one in the morning.
- Sarah (6/5): Could be perfect, but a few things need addressing. - Villa Tami is very well situated for the Old town, the strip and transport. It was very clean and had all you would need for a short break, beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. We enjoyed our stay but wouldnât stay there again, it could be an amazing property if only a bit more attention was shown to the detail. There was a problem with hot water, we called the maintenance number, we were told it was solar powered. There was insufficient hot water for 5 guests, I had one warm shower in 5 days, the rest were cold.
There were no bedside tables, no shelves in the bathroom, the door handle had no lock and was hanging off, the bedroom door wouldnât close either. Limited coat hangers, 3 for two people and those were that our friends had shared with us.
The toilet downstairs had a toilet seat that didnât fit.
There were bare wires hanging from the ceilings!
The pool wasnât very clean, the sides were grubby. Skirting board was loose in the hallway.
With what we paid for our stay, it should be better &
the hot water is basic requirement and for that it has put us off staying again.

- Dominic (10/5): MJ was an amazing host and at a very difficult time was there to help and save our holiday. - Central to the resort, great set up , clean and comfortable.
- Shaun (3/5): - The villa was close to the beach and strip
The kitchen is equipped well The villa pool was disgusting and reusable with cigarette butts in the pool around the pool was paint flakes everywhere
The villa itself had a damp smell to it
It had exposed live wires
Thereâs no hot water so freezing cold showers
The bedding and towels provided were so smelling my daughter was almost sick from the smell of her towel we had to go buy some and the bedding we had to strip and wash before we used it
There was no one to meet us on arrival nor did we see anyone through the whole stay
The WiFi was hit and miss unfortunately
- Sophie (2/5): In its current state, I would not recommend Villa Tami â particularly for families or guests with young children. I hope - It was very hard to enjoy our stay due to the issues we experienced. The property has potential to be enjoyable although with its current issues I would not recommend. Cleanliness upon arrival was unacceptable: food crumbs and hair on floors and furniture, a dirty fridge and cooker, and bed sheets and towels that had to be washed before use.
⢠The pool was unusable â it was dirty on arrival and never cleaned, despite a promise of twice-weekly maintenance. Paint from the walls was chipping and falling into the water daily.
⢠No basic toiletries or cleaning supplies were provided, despite being listed as included. We had to purchase essentials like hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and surface spray.
⢠Serious safety concerns: exposed electrical wires in ceiling light fittings, dangerously hot water taps with reversed controls (which caused a burn), and loose/damaged furniture.
⢠The downstairs room had damp issues and a strong musty smell, making it unusable.
⢠No hot water was available in the upstairs showers during the day, limiting bathroom use.
⢠There were leftover items from previous guests, including alcohol and half-used toiletries, which was not only unhygienic but inappropriate for guests with specific religious beliefs.
⢠No proper garbage disposal setup, which led to bags piling up and attracting insects â again, a hygiene issue.
⢠The air conditioning only had one freezing setting with no temperature control, making it uncomfortable.
⢠Despite warning guests not to leave rubbish behind, there was nowhere to properly dispose of waste.
- Julie (9/5): Clean comfortable villa in a good location - The villa was very clean a short walk into the town. The beds were comfortable
Nice area to sit out with a plunge pool to cool down. The upstairs shower a few mornings had no hot water.
- Emma (9/5): An oasis in the heart of Puerto del Carmen! - We loved our stay at Villa Tami. The location was perfect, an easy walk from both the main beachfront and the old harbour so there were plenty of options for restaurants, bars, nice walks etc. Even though you were minutes from all the action, it was so quiet and as it is situated in quite a residential enclave it was very peaceful (once you had good neighbours next door!). It was a palace for two people, my Dad and I were travelling together so were looking for two bedroom apartments which can be tricky to find last minute. So we ended up finding Villa Tami and it was perfect. It would easily fit a large family or group. The courtyard gets the sun all day and protects you from the wind so it is a lovely sun trap. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. All appliances etc. that you could possibly need were available. We had to contact the team a couple of times during our stay and they were very responsive and helpful. As the Villa is quite new it is not well-known with taxi drivers or on Google maps. Our driver dropped us a bit far back down the road and it was dark so we found it very difficult to locate the house initially. A sign pointing down into the cul-de-sac would be really helpful and/or a sign on the gate up to the line of houses, especially for those arriving at night. We were lucky to meet a lovely local woman, Lisa, who helped us find the house and work the lockbox for the key which was difficult to navigate. It would have been helpful to have a towel change for a 5 night stay as well.
- Reece (8/5): Very good -
- Orla (8/5): Great location, good value villa - Great location, very large apartment with 3 showers and bathrooms. Lovely terrace area. Great downstairs TV room with huge TV and very comfortable couch. Perfect stay for a family visiting Puerto del Carmen. Fully equipped modern kitchen, brilliant for cooking in. Unfortunately the pool was unusable for the entire stay as it was not clean, leaves, cigarette butts ans dead insects floated in the water. It states on the website that pool is cleaned every 2 days but this did not occur. I contacted them a week in to our stay and got a very prompt response stating someone would be out to clean it. Unfortunately nobody came. I contacted again a couple of days later but it was a weekend and unfortunately there was no response until Monday and by that stage we had already checked out. I will say it didnât impact our stay negatively as for the time of the year a pool wasnât essential. But it would have been nice to have the option of using the pool.
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional - Just a very clean and modern villa
