Quand nous sommes partis, ils nous ont même pas monté nos affaires alors que ma femme est enceinte et je l’ai précisé le Taxi nous attendait vraiment sur le point accueil et personnel très désagréable.

If you want to eat out, there are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance but going to a supermarket requires transport.

• Desi (9/5): - Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is a little climb up a hill to get to rooms so this might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was included in our visit and the food was great. Staff were really friendly. We had monkeys come visit in the mornings and that was really entertaining. They can be aggressive if you approach them so use caution. We also rented scooters and toured the island which was enjoyable. We felt safe everywhere we went.

• Stewart (10/5): Our stay was absolutely perfect made so not only by the standard of the resort but by the staff who made us feel so welc - The resort was beyond our expectations. The location was perfect with a beautiful bar on the beach, a cocktail at 6.30 pm while watching the sunset was a daily event and the food was exceptional from breakfast, lunchtime snacks and dinner. All the staff were amazing, always smiling and couldn’t do enough for you. Hoping we can return next year. There was an issue on arrival as although we had booked a villa with a sea view, the sea view was blocked by trees - however this was rectified without any problem and we moved to the villa next door but we did incur an extra charge. We managed the steps up to the accommodation but guests do need to be aware that they are there, there are no lifts.

Sehr freundliche staff im restaurant und zimmerservice war sehr gut Frühstück nur ok (kannten den hervorragenden Bewertungen nicht zustimmen, Angebot sehr limitiert , Rezeption ab 19 Uhr nicht besetzt und WhatsApp funktioniert nicht. • Nadja (10/5): Ruhiges Resort direkt am Strand - Wirklich ein sehr schönes Resort direkt am Meer, traumhaft! Die Lage ist gut, das Personal ist extrem freundlich. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Gartenblick, das war total cool, mitten im Wald quasi. Weil es hier in den Bewertungen öfters erwähnt wird: Ja, der Hotelstrand hat teilweise Steine, das stört aber überhaupt nicht und der Strand ist deswegen nicht unbrauchbar wie hier manche Personen behaupten. Weiters wird sich über viele Stufen beschwert - naja wenn man eine Aussicht haben möchte muss man ja auch irgendwie „in die Höhe“ und das geht nun mal nur wenn man ein paar Stufen nimmt, auch gar nicht schlimm!

• Danny Boogaard (8/5): Mooie rustige en romantische locatie - De locatie is heerlijk rustig, het personeel zeer vriendelijk, het eten in het resort is van goede kwaliteit. De huisjes met zeezicht super romantisch. Als je van rust houdt is dit uw resort. Je kunt niet lekker zwemmen in de zee door de vele rotsen. Het resort verhuurd scooters maar de kwaliteit van knderhoud laat te wensen over. Banden nagenoeg geen profiel en de remblokken waren versleten. Na deze te hebben omgeruild was t niet heel veel beter.

Tolle Bar mit Blick auf das Meer. Die Zimmer am Pool sind sehr neu und sehr toll ausgestattet Wir hatten das Haus am Meer und die sanitär Anlagen dürften überholt werden bzw. War der Geruch durch die Kanalisation an manchen Tagen stark. Aber wahrscheinlich technisch nicht anders lösbar.

• Sophie (9/5): Beautiful relaxing spot to enjoy the sunset - The staff were lovely and very happy to help organise transport and renting scooters etc. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Great choices for breakfast. The rooms were clean and modern. Great water pressure. There were only minor things that could be improved. There were no instructions for the safe and it was so small we ended up just locking everything in our cases each day. The layout of the bathroom could be better (the door didn’t fully open - but this isn’t a big deal. The WiFi wasn’t brilliant - it wouldn’t work on the TV and was very slow on phones, but it’s not really a big problem because the resort gets great phone signal.
• Lisa (7/5): Leider stimmt nach allem das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für uns nicht. - An sich ein schönes Hotel. Zimmer sind super eingerichtet, mit allem was man benötigt. Frühstück ist für 3/4 Tage okay. Essen im Restaurant war lecker und die Mitarbeiter, zumindest die meisten, sehr bemüht. Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer mit Poolzugang. An sich einen wirklich schönes Zimmer. Allerdings war es so hellhörig, wir haben jedes Wort von den Nachbarn hören können. Ohne Oropax war schlafen somit nicht möglich. Zudem war der Pool vor dem Zimmer so warm, das an Abkühlen leider nicht zu denken war.

Watch out for the monkeys raiding the balcony in the morning! Nothing we didn’t like but cleaners could have done a better job would be my only improvement. This is the same as other hotels I have stayed at in Thailand so think it is what it is.

• Kinga (10/5): Pozdrawiam panie od masaży 😄 - Hotel Moonlight Bay Resort na Koh Lanta to absolutnie cudowne miejsce, do którego chciałoby się wracać bez końca. Najbardziej zachwyciła mnie niesamowita atmosfera spokoju i harmonii cisza, natura i ten wyjątkowy klimat sprawiają, że naprawdę można się tam wyciszyć i odpocząć. Jedzenie było po prostu wyśmienite, świeże, aromatyczne i dopracowane w każdym detalu. Śniadania jako set do wyboru super pomysł żeby jedzenie się nie marnowało. Ogromne wrażenie zrobiły na mnie także masaże, prawdziwa uczta dla ciała i ducha. Panie wykonujące masaże były nie tylko profesjonalne, ale też niezwykle ciepłe, radosne i serdeczne, co dodatkowo potęgowało całe doświadczenie. Sam domek wśród drzew był absolutnie wyjątkowy – piękny, klimatyczny i dający poczucie prywatności, a jednocześnie blisko natury. To idealne miejsce, żeby zwolnić tempo i po prostu cieszyć się chwilą. Bardzo podobała mi się też strefa chillout na drinka – świetna muzyka, dobre koktajle i widok na zachód słońca tworzyły niesamowity klimat. To było idealne zakończenie każdego dnia. Nie ma takiej rzeczy.

• Braune (10/5): Einfach großartig - Das Moonlight-Resort ist einfach nur super. Die Mitarbeiter sind super hilfsbereit und freundlich und die Zimmer haben einen einzigartigen Flair. Das Essen in dem Restaurant war egal ob morgens oder abends großartig. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Thailand-Urlaub wieder herkommen und es auch unseren Freunden empfehlen. Wir waren traurig wieder fahren zu müssen. Das einzige was uns nicht gefallen hat war die fehlende Einstellbarkeit des Wassers des Waschbeckens und dessen Geruch. Leider hat die Wäsche, die wir per Hand gewaschen haben nicht so gut gerochen. Aber das Hotel bietet einen Waschservice für kleines Geld an.
• Anna (7/5): Preis-Leistung passt nicht. - Die Anlage ist traumhaft, der Pool direkt am Meer und man kann jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang von der Hotelbar aus sehen. Das Frühstück ist gut aber da es à la carte ist wenig abwechslungsreich wenn man mehrere Tage dort ist. Die Unterkunft ist zwar modern, jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Armaturen im Bad sind abgenutzt, sobald man den Strahl der Dusche zu stark einstellt, dreht sich die Armatur, sodass man sich nicht mehr drunter stellen kann. Wir wollten ein wenig später auschecken und hatten das auch mit der Rezeption abgeklärt. Allerdings kam dann laufend Personal ins Zimmer nach der eigentlich vorgesehenen Check-Out Zeit. - Kurz gesagt: es haben sich ein paar Dinge gehäuft, die bei so einem Preis und Hotel nicht hätten sein dürfen.

La piscine bien exposée, le restaurant (super pour le petit déjeuner), le spot de massage face à la mer est génial + cher que dehors mais ça vaut le coup, le petit bar spécial cocktail pour le coucher de soleil est top. possibilité également de louer des scooter Emplacement difficile de faire quoi que ce soit à pied, mais c’est l’île qui est comme ça

• Nadia (10/5): Séjour inoubliable - Notre séjour a été fabuleux ! Une vue à couper le souffle de notre chambre sur la mer. Personnel adorable. Choix dans le petit déjeuner qui est compris dans le séjour. Le seul petit bémol, ce serait les escaliers pour accéder au bangalow très pentu donc inaccessible pour des personnes avec un souci physique . Et la climatisation qui souffle directement sur le lit.

Et un massage incroyable avec le bruit des vagues (franchement j’ai passé un merveilleux moment en plus elle s’est super bien adapté à moi qui suit enceinte) Restaurant très bien, avec un spectacle de feu pour notre dernier soir dans cet hôtel Le peu de choix au petit déjeuner! Attention la clim est mise au dessus du lit (je suis malade depuis que nous sommes partis de cet hôtel)

All the stairs — I would have loved to know this in advance because I’m suffering from bad knees. Plus: I forgot my shaver in the room and immediately texted the property about it and asked if I could come by and get it the next day — no reply :D and when I went there they just said that it wasn’t there (what is a lie because I 100% forgot it in the shower… I’m also so confused why anybody would take a shaver.. whyyyy?). I also received a message right afterwards that they couldn’t find my shaver. This is honestly so weird.

• Petra (9/5): Gerne wieder! - Wir hatten insgesamt 11 Tage im Moonlight (Zimmer 17 im Hotel) und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem und an der Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt. Toll fanden wir, dass Dusche und Toilette in getrennten Räumen sind. Täglich gibt es zwei Flaschen Wasser. Zum Frühstück ist es ein kurzer Spaziergang durch den schönen Garten zum Restaurant, das direkt am bzw. über dem Strand liegt. Beim Frühstück konnte man zwischen 6-7 Angeboten auswählen. Alles ware sehhr lecker. Zweimal in der Woche gibt es am Abend ein Barbeque mit dem Konzept: You pay what you eat: Sehr praktisch und fair. Das Resort ist nicht so groß, die Atmosphäre durch das überaus freundliche und fröhliche Personal sehr ansprechend. Während der Ebbe ist das Baden wegen der Felsen im Wasser schwierig. Aber dafür hat das Moonlight ja einen schönen Pool.

• Denise (10/5): Een paradijs!! - Wat een geweldig mooi resort! Wij hebben in 3 verschillende huisjes gezeten en ze waren stuk voor stuk een geweldig. In de jungle met de aapjes om je heen of aan het strand, wat een belevenis! Het restaurant was top, goed a la carte ontbijt en prima kaart voor lunch en diner. Het personeel is overal even aardig en behulpzaam. De dames van de massage doen het ook uitstekend! (En een genot om op zo’n mooie plek te mogen liggen) Bij de receptie doen ze echt hun uiterste best om het naar je zin te maken. We hebben ook een dag een scooter via het hotel geregeld, top👍 evenals het vervoer naar Krabi airport👍 Een aanrader om hier naar toe te gaan, vandaar een dikke 10!!

• Heike (10/5): - Eine traumhafte Lage!! Wir hatten eine der schönen Strandvillen. Den Strand, das Meeresrauschen, wundervolle Sonnenuntergänge direkt vor der Tür. Besser geht es nicht. Das Perosnal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Leckeres Frühstück bei lauer Brise und Blick aufs Meer. Herrlich! Massagen bei den zauberhaften Ladies auch sehr gut in traumhafter Location. Housekeeping top. Das Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker Mit einem Mietroller kann man super die Umgebung erkunden. Freundliche,entspannte Menschen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
• Jutta (9/5): Schön und ruhig gelegen - Das Resort ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Der Sundowner zur Happy Hour in der Bar mit spektakulärem Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer im Bereich Creek mit direktem Zugang zum Pool von der Terrasse aus ist riesig, ebenso das Bad. Alles sehr gepflegt, sauber, elegant mit einem riesigen, super bequemen Bett und wunderschöner Bettwäsche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück a la carte sehr lecker. Unbedingt auch mal dort zu Abend essen, es gibt sehr leckere, sehr schön angerichtete Speisen zu sehr akzeptablen Preisen. Toller Fisch und das Gemüse knackig und frisch. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen. Für in die Stadt braucht man ein Tuctuc, das aber sehr preisgünstig ist. Dafür gibt es herrliche Ruhe dort. Der Strand eignet sich weder gut zum Schwimmen noch für Strandspaziergänge.

• Kate (10/5): Beautiful resort in Lanta - Loved the location, such a beautiful property we were amazed. The private beach with massage hut and swimming pool were stunning. Great breakfast and food at the hotel, we were also able to hire mopeds easily with reception. Staff were very kind and friendly, especially the waiting staff, massage and pool / groundskeepers. Hotel organised a BBQ and fire show for Friday night which was lovely. When we first checked in we asked in advance about laundry, property told us we could do laundry here for 80baht per kg, when we arrived the hotel staff explained all we needed to do was take the bag of washing to reception and they will sort for us. So we did this but then we were told there was no washing as the person who does the washing had taken the day off. Weren’t offered much help so we had to carry our washing to the town nearby on foot to do washing elsewhere.

• David (6/5): Great view but nothing else worth mentioning - Beautiful view over the Andaman Sea Need to be in good shape, our room was at the top of 55 steep steps in 33 degrees heat. Breakfast and restaurant were terrible. Resort is tired and worn out.
• nadja (10/5): - Die Lage auf Koh Lanta war für uns ein Traum. Privatstrand mit viel Ruhe und einem wunderbaren Meerzugang. Ebbe und Flut super zu beobachten. Herrlich zum Schwimmen! Das Personal sehr freundlich! Das Grillen am Abend von hervorragender Qualität. Fußläufig zwei sehr gute Restaurants erreichbar (Tango Mango Top). Rollerverleih direkt im Hotel, super, um die Insel zu erkunden. Die Massagen am Hotelstrand TOP!! Wir hatten 9 Nächte einen sea view deluxe Bungalow: viel Platz, viel Privatsphäre und das Beste, vom Bett aus der Blick unverstellt aufs Meer! Herrliches Hören, Sehen und Riechen des Meeres direkt vom Bungalow aus. Alles sauber und top gepflegt. Die Bar am Abend zum Sonnenuntergang unschlagbar. Auf jeden Fall wieder!!!!

• Nefeli (10/5): - The staff was amazing and kind, they really elevated the experience for us! The scenery was very cozy with a great selection of food at the restaurant within the resort. The only downside was that the resort beach was not great for swimming as there were many rocks, and because the location was kind of remote you definitely need a tuktuk or scooter to go places and to different beaches.

Omalla parvekkeella mukava löhöily korituoli. Hotellilta voi ostaa hierontaa, pesulapalvelut, vuokrata skootterin yms. Huone aika kaukana ravintolasta/rannasta. Aamupala oli hintaan nähden pettymys. Varsin niukka. Aamupala ei ollut kokonaisuudessaan valmiina kerrottuun aikaan ja loppua kohden tarjottavia ei laitettu enää tarjolle, vaikka aikaa olisi ollut vielä.

• Angelika (9/5): Empfehlenswert - Der Bungalow inne und die ganze Anlage waren äußerst schön und sauber. Sehr nettes Personal. Schöne Sonnenuntergänge. Nah am Long Beach. Das Frühstück und Essen im Restaurant war ok, aber nicht überzeugend. Die Preise im Hotel waren für Thailand eher teuer. Der alkoholfreie Cocktail hat während der Happy Hour mehr gekostet als der mit.
