- Fáber-Karacs (10/5): A Maor Hotel egy kis ékszerdoboz, ahol minden adott a gondtalan kikapcsolódáshoz - Nagyon szép helyen, tengerre néző kilátással kaptunk egy szép, tiszta, komfortos szobát, nagy erkéllyel, amit 2 naponta takarítottak, törölközőt cseréltek. A szállásadónk igazán nagyon kedves, segítőkész, barátságos fiatalember volt. Nem tudtunk olyat kérdezni, vagy kérni, amiben ne segített volna, legyen szó utazásról, étteremről, vásárlásról. A reggelink pazar volt, és változatos. Utolsó nap az elutazás miatt korábbra kértük a reggelit. Arra számítottunk, hideg-csomag lesz, e helyett a korai időpont ellenére ugyanúgy a friss reggeli gőzölgött az asztalunkon. Nem volt ilyen

- Ledjona (10/5): - Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Maor in Vlora. Alles hat gut gepasst und ich habe mich wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war die ganze Zeit über sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders schön war das Frühstück – die Aussicht und die Atmosphäre am Morgen waren einfach toll. Auch das Frühstück selbst war sehr gut. Ich war nach vielen Jahren wieder hier, da mir der Ort schon früher in guter Erinnerung geblieben ist. Es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt, zurückzukommen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

We want to say extra thanks for him. We checked in day 16.9 (room number 317) There was a lot of missing items from the room. We hoped to have glasses and we did not have pool towels. In the room there was no space to dry your clothes.

La chambre est la salle d'eau sont conventionnelles, avec climatisation, une terrasse, le petit déjeuner est correcte L'établissement est bien, mais il manque un peu de chaleur humaine, un peu d’âme, l'ensemble est bien mais pas chaleureux, c'est dommage

W łazience nie było kabiny prysznicowej, był prysznic i płytki z odpływem. Wody było w całej łazience po kąpieli.

Особлива подяка працівнику готелю, який допоміг нам переїхати з речами на його особистому транспорті. Декілька годин після виселення потрібно було попрацювати з холу готелю - без проблем. Готель організував пізне заселення (05:00 AM - ранку). Смачні сніданки. Пляж прямо через дорогу. Гарні краєвиди з балкону номера. Wi-Fi був нестабільний в обідню пору та під час перебування на балконі.

Ich hatte eine Lebensmittelvergiftung am letzten Tag, wir hätten um 10:30 Uhr auschecken müssen, wir wurden in ein anderes freies Zimmer kostenfrei umgebucht und durften bis abends bleiben. Das hat wirklich mein Leben gerettet. Ich bin mehr als dankbar. Frühstück auch immer super. Kaffee war sehr sehr lecker. Sie haben so so tolles Personal! Der Strand vor Ort ist nicht der schönste. Liegen dafür 5-7€ (2 Stück). Aber von Orikum nach Vlora sind es nur 25 min, und von Orikum nach Dhermi auch nur 20-30 min.

- Vasara (7/5): Okay value for the money, comfortable stay with good pool. - Lovely pool, great food around the pool, good prices When we arrived at 2:30pm, they gave us the keys just for us to go upstairs and find our rooms not ready (not cleaned after the last residents) - no apologies or anything just “It will be ready in 30-40min”. After that, one of the rooms was missing pillows which I had to go ask for from the reception. No shower curtain

The view from our room was amazing – we could have sat there for hours just looking out and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was super tasty with lots of choices, which was a nice surprise. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The bed was comfortable and just the right firmness for our taste, which made a big difference after long days out. The whole place is calm and quiet – just perfect for a peaceful family break. We'd definitely love to come back!

- Nicole (7/5): Expensive for a basic stay - The location is very calm though very relaxing, far from confusion (and far from Vlore). Only some restaurants and mini markets in the area. The beach in front of the hotel is so nice, the warmest water we have found in Albania. 1min walking from the hotel to the beach. The swimming pool is shared with other hotels but we never found it too crowded. This water temperature is just amazing (we think it might be heated?). The room was very clean. Breakfast was ok. The room is too basic and the bathroom even more. We felt like we were in a public bathroom and the shower is open so you just water the whole bathroom. You don't have space to put your stuff too, we had to put everything on the floor. They don't have pool towels, not even for renting. That is a very negative point in our opinion. The sunbeds at the beach are paid.
- Allyson (9/5): Lovely hotel in a developing location - superb staff team. - The staff team were amazing and could not do more to help answer queries and ensure that we were well looked after. The rooms were small but comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room so you need to put away anything you don’t want to get wet! Good shower and water was always hot. A/C worked well. Breakfast was buffet style with a good range of options. We didn’t use the pool as the sea was opposite the hotel but it looked well laid out with plenty of sun beds. There were several bars and restaurants within a short walking distance of the hotel plus a well-stocked small supermarket. Parking was available. The bathroom flooded when we used the shower and then drained very slowly and you ended up standing in soapy shower water after you finished your shower. My husband decided to clear the shower drain which was completely blocked and it was fine after that but it was months of soap scum that he cleared so cleaning that drain ought to be part of the cleaning routine. The balcony was small and had two A/C condensers blowing hot air onto it making it unusable when the A/C in our room and our next door neighbours room was running - which given the temperatures when we were there was pretty much all the time. The hotel was fitted with a smoke detector system however all smoke heads were covered with plastic covers rendering them useless. Perhaps the system was not operational.

- Jency83 (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. Nice breakfast included in the price, directly in the hotel loby. Superb swimming pool - the main thing my 3yr daughter remembers from our Albanian vacation :) The pool seems to be shared by multiple hotels where one is still in construction so there were only few people in the pool. The shower has no curtain or door so even with care, the water was everywhere on the floor. It seems the building is split in half and each has different hotel it was a bit hard to find the proper entrance. The room was quite small with view on the other side of the building. Parking is not ideal, you either park by hotel in quite a narrow street or across a busy road. The sea didn't look nice, quite a lot of sea weed in end of June.

I can’t say a bad word about the hotel and our stay there. It was really great experience for our family. The suite we had - just like on photos, nothing missing, everything working properly, nothing broken. Breakfast really good. Location great - just cross the street and you are at the beach but anyway my daughter enjoyed the swimming pool more which was also great! 😊 It’s a calm area if you are looking for some nice family time with just a few restaurants and bars, everything within a walking distance. I’m a really neat person but I have to say - the hotel was really clean, nothing to complain about. The last but not the least - the service was just EXCEPTIONAL. A BIG SHOUTOUT to this amazing receptionist that just welcomed us with a smile every time and made sure our stay was just like we wanted it to be! I have never met a nicer person working in a hotel. ☺️ Nothing bad that I can say ☺️
- Wilma (10/5): A great and quite location with large pool - We loved this place. Great location almost on the beach. Large pool for the kids to play in and with a bar for us adults. The staff was beyond lovely. A small but really good breakfast buffet. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. Convenient parking right outside the hotel. The beds were quite hard. No balcony on the 3 people room. Quite small room for 3 people with no storage area at all. Minus that when you leave the room with your card, you cannot even charge your phone.
- Nadil (10/5): Exceptional - Great price for what you get.We really liked it here. The booking was easy and staff were very welcoming. Many of the reviews said that breakfast was next door but we actually ate on the lobby side and it was great. Zero complaints there. There were many options such as french toast, eggs, veggies, juices, petulla, many cheeses and so much more. I liked that they had some albanian options to celebrate their cultures but also some american ones to accommodate my picky children. They didn’t have coffee but we asked and they delivered. That’s incredible customer service if you ask me. The rooms were perfect, they were super clean with a mini balcony to enjoy views of the Ionian. There was wifi, free parking in the front and a huge pool out back. They also had chairs you could use by the beach. I appreciated the location as it was close to a few mini marts and many restaurants. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. Bathroom didn't have a tub or shower. The water just soaked the whole bathroom.

We had an emergency and had to leave a day before our original departure date, and they were very understanding and helpful. Special mention to Orkan (sorry if the name isn’t written correctly) who was a great help. Breakfast was complete and very good. The room was very clean and the pool large and pleasant. It was a really pleasant stay. What was a bit complicated was the fact that the hotel was a bit far from Vlora (about 25 min by car). We didn't have a car, so that didn't help.

- Annalisa (10/5): Great stay! - Solo traveller - May2024. Hotel: The hotel is new and extremely clean. the staff friendly and could not be more helpful! Good buffet breakfast continuously replenished by the staff ( I loved the orange cake with syrup!). The hotel has an attached mini shop with any essential you might need. The pool was not open during my stay due to technical problems, apparently, but the hotel offered me a discount over the price for the inconvenience. Location: There are several small pebble beaches along the cost with a really pretty one right in front of the hotel. The beach's bar is run by lovely staff. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and mini markets along the cost and road between Orikum to Vlore ( most of them do not appear on Google maps). I tried different restaurants, and none of them disappointed me! A particular mention to Bojo resort for the fish and service, a taverna with traditional food( I don't remember the full name) and the fish market where you can choose your fish and have it cooked there. Lovely bakeries and patisserie at Orikum.

The room Is very clean and nice, but need some hangers in the room and in the bathroom, wich also Is very nice, all like in the photo. The breakfast Is good, served in the same building, at the hotel D’Azur. Large and great pool, with few sunbeds in the water. In the same building are 3 hotels, but the building Is not very large, and the pool Is enough for all rooms. The beach Is across the street, 1 min Away, where are 4-5 restaurants. Free Parking Spot in front of the building. The location Is new, illuminated by night and felt safe.

The pool is amazing, the best I have seen in Corfu. The boy who was there during the night- we had 2 questions (1 about breakfast and the other one about bus) for him and he replied to both “i dont know”, but didnt offer to research or help, a bit weird for a receptionist.

- Hani (10/5): I would 100% recommend this hotel for people with family, couples or even singles, was exceptional - Rooms were excellent and extremely clean, very safe did not have any issues even with leaving my wallet and room card on accident behind in the hotel and at the restaurants, my safety and belongings were not compromised or touched and were returned to me by the staff. The walkability is good and the hotel is very close to the beach, you just need to cross the street to be at the beach and there is also a swimming pool behind the hotel. Our stay was excellent, rooms were very clean as they are cleaned daily, the hotel is close to restaurants and beaches and even has super markets and outside the hotel and another 3 within 200m of the hotel Nothing, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back to stay at Maor Hotel again

Perfect place for relaxing. The pool was amazing as well. If you want to get some hours of sun, with a clean pool this is the right place.
