El personal es impecable: se preocupan por ti, te esperan en la puerta para recibirte, te ayudan con las maletas y siempre te atienden con muchísima cortesía y amabilidad. Además, permiten cocinar y hacer uso de las instalaciones con total comodidad, algo que hace que la estancia sea mucho más cercana y práctica, especialmente para viajeros que pasan varios días en Kioto. Siempre estaban dispuestos a ayudar en cualquier cosa que necesitara. También me encantó el ambiente del alojamiento, porque conoces personas viajeras muy agradables y respetuosas, creando una energía muy bonita y acogedora. Sin duda, uno de esos lugares que hacen que el viaje se recuerde todavía con más cariño. ⛩️

• Jakob (8/5): Nice room though small - Very nice personal. We slept like babies in the room. A little small room, and not a lot of space for packing out clothes. But it was expected for this price.
• Sasaki (5/5): 太秦から歩いて10〜15分 - スーパーが近くにあったので、買い物が気軽に出来てよかった チェックインの受付をしたら隣の建物といわれた。2棟あるうちの別棟のほうが男性専用だった。解錠が面倒な点は仕方ないとして、その入口の前が喫煙所とされていた点はたばこが苦手なひとにとっては非常によくない。知らずに買い物から帰ってきて、不意打ちに煙をくらったのには閉口した。 幹線道路の側なので車の音が夜中もずっと響いて眠りが浅かった。シングルベッドは広かったが寝心地が悪く夜は長かった。 それくらいであとは相場どおりだと思う。 おかげで朝早くチェックアウトして清水寺へ行ったので人間万事塞翁が馬である。

• Liam (10/5): Everything you need and not a thing more.. - Amazing value for money was greated by friendly staff and the facilities were simple but had a everything you might need It's a little far from the city proper but so convenient for the monkeys and the bamboo forests. The bed was on the floor and up some steep stairs so consider any mobility issues before you book

• Caroline (5/5): N'y allez pas- to be avoided - The size of the room Very expensive( 70 euros à night) for the bad standing , the noise and the distance from Downtown 1h by public transport. Very NOISY as closed to a boulevard with cars all the night.The old equipment, windows, bathroom,in the kitchen nothing was working, impossible to cook. The stairs to the floor of the room was so DIRTY.

• Jonathan (10/5): Decent hostel, exceptional staff. - The two ladies were extremely friendly and helpful. At one point they spent 30 minutes trying to help me sort out a sim card I purchased.
• Tim (3/5): Slecht. Niet fijn - Niks. Veel. De matras waar ik op lag in het mannen gebouw lag gewoon op het tapijt. En uiteindelijk van bed veranderd naar de bovenste bed in hun zelfgemaakte stapelbedden, lig je gewoon op een houten bodem met de matras. Niet heel hygiënisch. Er lagen dehumidifier tegeltjes onder maar alleen aan de rand waar je ze ziet. Dit moet gefikst worden anders krijg je schimmel. Als dat er al niet is. De douche kijkt uit op een flat gebouw en de ramen zijn niet geblindeerd dus douch je niet heel privaat. Daar moet blindering folie overheen. En/of een waterbestendig gordijntje anders zien ze je nog steeds s'avonds. De toiletten hadden een geblindeerd raam maar kijkt ook uit op een flat gebouw met uitzicht op jou. Ik verwacht niet dat als je het licht aan hebt dat het veel blindeert s'avonds. Vandaar dat het ongemakkelijk is om daar s'avonds heen te gaan. Kunnen ze beter daar een gordijntje hangen die je s'avonds dicht kan doen. De kamer beneden was heel koud. En was heel armoedig. Het mannen gebouw is nog niet klaar en vandaar vond ik de prijs/kwaliteit houding niet kloppen. Het vrouwen gebouw met de gemengde slaapzaal is wel oké. En ziet er verzorgd uit.

• Yoko (7/5): 安い！車折神社は徒歩圏内 - 車折神社から徒歩圏内だったこと。 近くにスーパーがあって、便利だった。 安いから許容範囲だけど、荷物を置く場所がない。 コートを掛けるロッカーがあったけど、開閉で大きな音がして、他の人がいたらうるさいレペルで気になった。

Есть место, где можно комфортно пообедать, есть кухня, где можно готовить. В ванной было немного прохладно, но мы были зимой, но это было не сильно критично. Далеко от центра.

• Molly (7/5): Comfortable and modern accommodation close to Arashiyama sightseeing - We stayed in location 2, which was a nice surprise because it was so close to all of the sightseeing in Arashiyama and the train station. We checked in at location 1 and then the hosts drove us and our luggage to location 2 and showed us around which was helpful The hostel was clean and modern with good facilities and a comfortable room. The communal spaces are really nice. The communication from our hosts could have been a little better. We didn’t realise we would be met on the street and chauffeured to another location! It was a bit of surprise - fine but would have been nicer to know ahead of time. There is a little bit of noise from the train line which goes on quite late into the night, which might bother a light sleeper. Towels and luggage storage come at an additional cost/
• Joe (10/5): My stay was wonderful, the instructions were clear and the host is absolutely friendly and helpful - The property is far away from the center of the town but there are tons of things to do and see in the area and also the transportation in city is efficient. I think it would be beneficial to post not only the address but also the train line, the station and what bus to take from the subway station

• Timothee (7/5): - L'établissement est assez confortable, les lits sont spacieux et l'on peut se mettre debout (ce qui fait beaucoup de bien dans ce genre d'établissement). Les lieux communs sont assez conviviaux. Peut-être un peu loin du reste de la ville. Sinl'onnveut aller à Arashiyama, ce n'est pas loin. Mais au delà de ça, on se trouve un peu loin de gares.

• manon (6/5): - La cuisine était très bien équipée. Tout etait très propre. Une douche pour tout les occupants n'était pas suffisante. Nous sommes accueillis par 6 feuilles de règlement à lire. Le check in a été long et nous avons dû attendre la venue des propriétaires qui n'étaient pas sur place. J avais réservé pour une chambre de 3 personnes, nous avons eu une chambre minuscule pour 2 personnes.

• Shaïna (4/5): - Je had een lange eigen kluis voor de spullen en je kreeg een sleutel voor deze kluis, waardoor ik mijn spullen veilig kon opbergen In de buurt van het bamboebos (30 minuten lopen) Ik had de aankomsttijd doorgegeven en deze was ook goedgekeurd door het hotel, echter na een dag reizen en een stuk lopen met mijn bagage was er niemand. Er werd over de intercom enkel gezegd '5 minuten' wat uiteindelijk ruim een kwartier was dat ik wachtte. Vervolgens kwam het personeel erachter dat mijn bed nog niet was opgemaakt dus moest ik hier nog op wachten. Buiten deze introductie was de locatie niet geweldig, voor de meeste toeristische dingen was het een uur reizen met het ov. De bedden zijn heel simpel, de ladder is van stalen buizen die ongemakkelijk zijn voor de voeten met het klimmen. Het frame beweegt veel als iemand in bed klimt en het matras en kussen waren erg dun. Er was 1 douche voor alle gasten met naast de douche de wasbakken. Er was niet echt veel privacy daarmee. Eetruimte zat het personeel weleens zonder iets te zeggen, waardoor het ongemakkelijk voelde om daar te zitten. Voor dezelfde prijs heb ik veel betere ruimtes gehad dus zelfs voor een budget-verblijf viel dit tegen

Try to book something else, even though th - - I liked the staff, the big shared kitchen - they helped me bring my luggage up - room very small - only one shower , one toilet and 2 sinks for a whole floor - I woke up suffocated because the people I slept with unplugged the ac and the ventilation (not hostel’s fault, but they could do like an automatic ventilation system or something)

• Ana Sofia (9/5): Buen lugar para moverte de forma independiente - Me gustó que estuviera en la zona residencial a las afueras de la ciudad. En recepción podías comprar un pase de 24 horas para andar en bicicleta en todo Kyoto, lo cual es una gran idea, porque es una cd compacta con muchas atracciones.está cerca de la zona rural que es muy bella y pacífica, y convenientemente cerca del sitio de interés de Arashiyama, donde además del parque, hay zona comercial, de cafés, etc. La almohada se me hizo muy incómoda. El personal está más bien ausente pero aún así son muy accesibles y agradables. Me tocó platicar con ellos y tomar té una noche en la cocina.

• Milos (7/5): - Room was ok, including kitchen next to our room. Since in our kitchen was not microwave, we had to go to 1. floor to heat food. It was not in the same door but had to go down and unlock next door to get in. The hostel it composed of two Flats and you cannot easily go between them. The main kitchen is quite small. Location or steps to room was not big issue.

My four-night stay in Kyoto was ruined because of this accommodation. - it’s dirty, there was hair around my bed. - the housework in the sanitary and commun area is not done every day. For 2 days, the toilets were disgusting, with the same stains. - the shower wall had mold problems, and the floor wasn't clean. - the room overlooks a noisy road. - the accommodation looks abandoned and poorly maintained, owners obviously do not sleep on site. - the staff are absent, the reception is cold, and they disappear. In four days, the common areas were cleaned only once or twice, which is disgustingly when you share with many people, especially if they are not clean themselves. I have been travelling for 3 months in Asia including 5 weeks in Japan, and it’s by far my worst experience. It’s crazy to pay 4500 yen per night for this.

• Mattis (7/5): Correct - La guesthouse est a proximité de la forêt de bambous de arashiyama donc c'est assez pratique pour y aller tôt le matin. Il n'y a qu'une seule douche pour l'entièreté du bâtiment, ce qui est inconvénient. La salle commune est séparée des dortoirs donc il faut sortir pour y accéder
