• Julie (9/5): Despite the access drama, we enjoyed our stay. - The property itself was superb, and really could not be faulted. Beautifully presented and clean. Access to the keys was a huge annoyance! The listing says that "Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in", which is understandable. However as our arrival time got closer, we were to discover that the property was under the control of another property management company, who informed us that we needed to supply credit card details electronically or over the phone to them (which we were not happy to do), and effectively had no choice, if we were to be given the key safe code. Our expectation, was for someone to meet us, and we did not expect to have to deal with an intermediary accommodation organisation. Believe the listing was misrepresented in this regard, and should be made clearer in the future!
• Marlene (8/5): Metung is beautiful and the house was ideal for us. - Location ideal. House was very comfortable for 3 couples. They could have provided more dishwashing pods, and tea towels, mainly cleaning products, knowing there were 3 couples and we were there for 4 nights.

• Karac (10/5): The best holiday house 🏠 - The most amazing holiday house that we have visited in the past 20 years. Immaculate condition, comfortable and it has everything that you could think of. The kitchen is so well equipped, as well as the rest of the house. It's very modern and spacious, and you can see that the owners put a lot of thought and effort into it. You don't need to bring anything, but body wash and coffee 😉. Each room has its own bathroom with the toilet, plus one more toilet on its own. The interior design of the house is mind blowing, with so much attention to detail. The beds are very comfortable, and in the wardrobes you've got so many spares blankets, doonas, throws, cushions etc. When we came everything was in a pristine condition. In the back there's another seating use area with the fire pit, surrounded by forest and you can listen to birds chirping and if you are lucky you can spot some small wild animals. The owners left detailed instructions on everything you need to know during your stay in the boat house. Leave all your worries at home and enjoy your stay at this astonishing holiday house. Can't recommend enough👍🏻😀. There's absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

Well equipped with everything you would need for a stay in Metung! Absolutely nothing and we are very particular!

• Yuanmei (10/5): Exceptional - When we made bookings, we know it was 3 bedroom, but we were surprised with 3 bathroom with additional powder room and a study room too...it's so spacious and great value for money. Fully equipped kitchen and they even provided laundry powder...the level of details is fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay here. Came in a hot day, they also turned the aircon up already for us, the moment we walked in the accomdation, felt so nice and welcoming. The only thing we wished was there, is a hair dryer.

Later check out would be ideal, especially for folks heading back on the long drive to Melbourne. Would enable a more leisurely departure. 10am check out would be appropriate for a CBD location. We did ask but unfortunately owner unable to accommodate a reasonable request.
