• Georgina (9/5): Excellent stay in a fabulous location - Fantastic location. Spacious bathroom. Beautiful garden. The accommodation was immaculate and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed, although comfortable, was a little tight in the space and we kept banging our legs on the corners.

The hosts Karen& Adrian were at hand for anything we needed and were a delight to chat with 😊 It's hard to be negative about this gem of a place but if there's anything that could be improved it would be to maybe include a toaster and a more efficient fridge as we do like a nice cold beer or glass of wine. But this would definitely not put us off booking again we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

• Nicola (10/5): What a beautiful little gem! - What a little gem of a place! Small and compact however very comfortable and of the highest standard. Everything we wanted for our stay, exceptionally clean, ideal location, the parking was much needed in a small busy village. The tea, coffee,milk & biscuits were a lovely added touch, the hosts were welcoming and friendly and you could tell if you needed anything, they were there. We've had a really lovely stay and explored Grassington and beyond with some wonderful walks, great pubs and fabulous cafes/shops. We will definitely recommend to our family & friends.
• Nicholl (9/5): Excellent place in a great location - This is a little Gem of a place, the location was excellent, it was a lovely appartment with everything you need for a couple of nights stay, Very clean and well looked after, the owners are joined onto the property , so there if you need them . It has a very comfy bed and a great shower. Didnt have any cooking facilties but did have a kettle and cutlery if required. Would reccommend this and come back. Cant think that there was much wrong with this, only thing could say is that it is only a small place so think that 2/3 nights is the max would stay there.

• Phil (10/5): - Great location, super quiet and only two minutes walk from the centre of Grassington. Grassington is a busy town, with pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants. Accommodation was very well thought out and nicely decorated/furnished. Nice to have tea/coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. Spotlessly clean. Good parking space. Great shower. Although there was a fan in the room, it was very warm at night. As no windows, had to sleep with door open which felt a little uncomfortable (although I suspect not a high crime area!).

• Iain (9/5): Great accommodation in a perfect location - The "hideaway" was in immaculate condition. lovely and clean, with all the little extras you could ever ask for. There was fresh milk in the mini-fridge, it was spotlessly clean, the TV worked perfectly and all the bedding and towels felt like they were new. Incredible location, right in the middle of Grassington. Perfect We loved everything

The crockery and cutlery means you can eat in takeaways, cereal, or fresh food from the local co-op. This was preferable to us rather than visiting a cafe each morning. The outdoor seating was great, in one lovely day we are breakfast outside and late afternoon relaxed with a drink in the sunshine. Washing up liquid and Tea Towel was provided. Bottle opener and corkscrew provided. The accommodation is in a very quiet spot but only a few minutes away from the main square. Hosts were lovely. Great value for money. We have stayed in cottages with full kitchens previously but in reality only ever used the kettle, so this really is perfect for a short stay. Having to come home!

• Gillian (10/5): Grassington accommodation at its best. - Just 2 minutes walk to the village were there are plenty of cafés and places to eat. The apartment was clean with lovely furnishings and we needed for nothing. The bed was comfy so both of us had an excellent night's sleep, also knowing we could get up at a time that suited us. It was convenient to just get a breakfast in the village. Hardy croft is in a quiet position with a parking space at the front of the garden. We managed to sit out on the patio area in the sun listening to the birds , it was so peaceful. The hosts Karen and Adrian are lovely people and very approachable, if we had needed anything we just had to ask. We ate out on the first night of our stay. On the second night we brought food back to the apartment. Plates , glasses and cutlery are provided , also there is a mini fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar , milk and biscuits. We will definitely be back to this fabulous place for another relaxing break.

• Sue (7/5): Excellent location - The location was excellent and felt safe and quiet despite being so close to the village centre. It was lovely to park the car up on the front and not have to worry about it or need it during our stay. Overall a lovely stay, would be even better in the spring summer months. There are lovely walks on the doorstep and Grassington is like stepping back in time, with very friendly people and beautiful stone cottages. Fantastic Sunday Roast at the Devonshire Arms, friendly staff. As we explained to the host it would be good to have a toaster and microwave to be able to enjoy some food sitting in their lovely garden, which she took on board. The settee was a little uncomfortable but that was a personal thing and would probably be nicer sitting outside in the garden.

We liked it all and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Grassington. When we book again, the only thing that could make it better would be some better weather 😂.

Having to wash pots in the bathroom sink, but we understand that there's no other option. The fridge didn't seem particularly cold.

• Layla (9/5): Beautiful studio in the heart of grassington! - The annex was perfect for our 2-night stay. The room was very cleverly designed and laid out and the hosts had made sure they provided everything we could possibly need! Including heater, fan, mini fridge, hot water bottle, cutlery, glasses and plates, well equipped bathroom. Location wise, this place is PERFECT for Grassington - a two min walk to the main square. It's fab to have such great parking and the little patio. Hosts were just lovely and you can tell they have put real thought and effort into their little studio. Nothing really, other than to note that there are no windows due to the nature of the building, so something to consider if ventilation is really important to you. Luckily the weather wasn't too warm so didn't bother us. Perhaps consider making dog-friendly for additional fee in the future? The patio lends itself so well to people with pooches!

• Paul (10/5): Quiet relaxing stay! - The location of the property could not be any more central to the village square. Property was located in a small residential area of the village. The hosts were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for for us .The apartment was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need for a quiet relaxing break. Will be returning to this place!! The only problem I had was that I didn’t stay long enough!!

• Geoffrey (10/5): A hidden gem in the heart of Grassington - The Hardy Croft Hideaway is a small apartment about 100 yards from the central square of Grassington. Parking in the centre of the village is very limited and so the fact that parking right outside The Hideaway is free is a massive plus. The rooms consist of a bedroom with an attached small lounge with a sofa, a small folding table, a fridge and tea and coffee facilities (Including chocolate biscuits - Kit Kats etc) and an en-suite shower room and toilet. The hosts have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that everything you could reasonably need is provided including all bed-linen, towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits, plates, cutlery, glasses etc. and also some of the things you might not expect such as walking guides and maps and even a hot water bottle although the central heating ensures the room is very cosy. There is also a patio in the garden with a table and chairs should the British weather ever improve. Grassington has several pubs and cafes and a great little Indian restaurant (Rozi's). We really enjoyed our two night stay there and would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. A big "Thank you" to the hosts, Barbara and Tony, for a lovely break away at the hidden gem of Grassington. Everything was perfect.
