The man who met us was very helpful and carried our bags up the stairs. Its location RIGHT ON THE STREET was very difficult. There is no sidewalk so you have to move to an intersection in order to navigate. NO ELEVATOR!!!!!! This was a surprise. The hotel needs to make it VERY CLEAR on the booking site. We would not have stayed here if we knew about the elevator!

Vor allem für die so zuvorkommende und herzliche Betreuung. Das Zimmer war keine Suite. ohne Sitzgelegenheit... Leider sehr laut, direkt an der Strasse. Das Frühstück im Cafe nebenan sehr charmant und gut, aber im Endeffekt ist es ein Zimmer in einem Privathaus und kein Hotel. Ohne öffentliche Räumlichkeiten.

• Angela (9/5): Great stay in the Gem Suite. - Staff at the Emerald Hotel are very knowledgeable and helpful. Made it easy as they all spoke English. The hotel was very comfortable, and the toiletries included were of very good quality. Breakfast selection at Ypes Restaurant is very good. Incredible location Emerald Hotel is situated within so many attractions, shops, and eating places. If you have mobility issues, there is no lift as a small boutique hotel. As very centrality located is very noisy at night with people out until late. Then, delivery vans or dust cart collections. In the bathroom, a couple of clothes hooks are needed as nowhere to hang clothes. A bidet in the bathroom as flushing toilet paper is restricted. A few more clothes hangers in the wardrobe needed. A bigger selection of tea and coffee in the room would be nice and larger tea cups.

• Jonathan (10/5): Lovely stay in perfect location for couples - The room was very clean and esthetic. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast was not too varied but everything was really fresh and delicious. All was great, but: One flight of narrow stairs, but the staff helped us with the luggage. During the weekend the street below is quite noisy, but at least ear plugs are provided in the room. Not much room to place your own toiletries beside the bathroom sink.

Camere restaurate recentemente dal design interessante. Soffitti alti piacevoli. Ottimi prodotti per il bagno. Personale molto professionale e disponibile. Buona colazione. Design accattivante ma a volte non ergonomico.

• Thomas Mirko (8/5): Stylische Zimmer, nettes Personal, - Tolle eingerichtete Zimmer, schönes Farbkonzept, tolle Betten. Zimmer war sehr laut. Mit geöffnetem Fenster unmöglich an Schlaf zu denken. Keine Tagesgarderobe und viel zu wenig Kleiderhaken sowohl im Zimmer wie auch im Badezimmer.

• Lorenzo (9/5): Soggiorno Atene molto confortevole - È una struttura nuova aperta da un anno, sistemata molto bene e con gusto. Potrebbe essere un boutique hotel. La struttura ha tutti i comfort. La reception è piccola ma la persona all'ingresso è stata sempre molto disponibile, soprattutto per gestire i bagagli prima del check in e dopo il checkout. A 20 mt dall'ingresso hanno il proprio ristorante bar, dove vengono servite anche le colazioni. Colazione di ottima qualità. In stanza sono sempre a disposizione acqua e caffè. Molto attento e disponibile anche il personale al bar ristorante. Struttura posizionata molto bene per poter girare tutto il centro a piedi. Anche per la sera è comoda, vicina alle strade con i locali migliori, ma non è cmnq una strada rumorosa. La consiglio. La reception è davvero piccola. Ma penso che molti hotel in pieno centro siano simili. E comunque questo non è mai stato un problema durante il soggiorno. Il bar ristorante è staccato ma davvero vicino.

• Kelsey (10/5): A lovely hotel with kind staff in the heart of Athens! - We loved our stay at Emerald Hotel! The hotel was centrally located and easy to walk to all the major attractions in Athens. Our room was brand new and clean, and we loved using the rooftop tub to cool down after a long day walking around. Finally, the staff was so kind - they arranged airport taxis for us, and prepared delicious to-go sandwiches for us to take in the morning because we had an early flight home. Highly recommend this lovely hotel! Nothing!

• Desire (10/5): A lovely hotel - Everything about our stay was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were so kind and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. We booked the suite with the bathtub on the roof patio and I would highly recommend you do the same if you’re considering it. Despite the fact that we were there in December we sat on the patio every day of our stay and used the bathtub twice. It was wonderful

• Nicole (10/5): Gorgeous renovated hotel with quality amenities and superbly attentive staff. - Right in the heart of the Plaka, this hotel has access to it all It was very noisy, but the area is literally the cafe/bar/restaurant neighborhood. Booker should know this going in - if you can't handle noise at night, this property isn't for you.
• Dovrat (8/5): - הצוות של המלון היה שירותי ואדיב מאד. המלון ממוקם במקום מצוין, מיקום מרכזי שניתן לצאת ממנו לטיולים רגליים ברחבי אתונה. החדר מרווח, נוח וגדול. הציוד בחדר חדש והצוות הקפיד מאד על ניקיון החדר. במלון אין מעלית (ידענו את הנתון הזה מראש), מי שקשה לו לעלות קומות כדאי שייקח את זה בחשבון. ארוחת הבוקר של המלון היתה מאכזבת, אין אפשרות להוסיף תוספות לחביתות ובלי ירקות בכלל.
• Ran (10/5): מלון בוטיק חדש ומעוצב ומאובזר במיקום מושלם ושירות מצוייו. מומלץ - מלון בוטיק חדש ומעוצב , סך הכל חמישה חדרים, עשיר באיבזורים ברמה גבוהה, מאוד נקי , מקלחת מאובזרת בסטנדרט גבוה ומפנק, אינטרנט חזק ויציב. מיקום מצויין ממש בלב המרכז, בין כיכר סינטגמה לככר מונבטיראקי, שירות זמין מאוד ויחס אישי ועם חיוך גדול, נענו לכל בקשה שלנו, כולל איחסון מזוודות, אחרי צ'ק אאוט. כבונוס במלון יש מסעדה מיוחדת ושונה בנוף של אתונה, מאוד מומלצת ומבוקשת. במסעדה גם מקבלים ארוחת בוקר עשירה ומפנקת וגם בה השירות חם ובייתי, אנחנו התארחנו ביחידה בקומה השניה "גאיה" ונהנו מאוד, אין ספק שנחזור שוב. בקיצור מאוד מומלץ,תמורה מצויינת למחיר. המקום מקסים. דבר יחיד שכדאי לציין(לנו הוא לא הפריע בכלל) היות ומדובר בבית משוחזר להפליא, במלון אין מעלית, ויש מדרגות די תלולות למי שמתקשה הדבר יהווה בעיה, המקום מציין זאת מראש.

• Torres (10/5): - Ho soggiornato 2 notti in questo hotel ad Atene e l’esperienza è stata davvero impeccabile. La struttura si trova in una dimora storica, completamente ristrutturata. Non è presente l’ascensore, com’è naturale per edifici di questo tipo, ma per noi non ha rappresentato alcun problema. Una volta varcato l'ingresso della stanza, capisci di essere entrato in un ambiente super elegante dove ogni dettaglio fa la differenza. La posizione è straordinaria: in pieno centro, perfetta per visitare la città comodamente a piedi. A due passi dall’hotel si trova anche il ristorante affiliato, dove abbiamo gustato le colazioni e una cena. Prodotti freschi, cura nei dettagli e sapori impeccabili. L’accoglienza è stata super: personale gentile, attento e sempre disponibile. In conclusione, un soggiorno perfetto. Un hotel affascinante, servizio caloroso e una ristorazione vicina e di altissimo livello. Assolutamente consigliato! Nulla, tutto perfetto!

• Aki (10/5): Just perfect for me - This kind of accommodations you would rather want to keep ”hidden pearls” just for yourself. This hotel has just a perfect size in an old small building in heart of the old city. Very nice coffee restaurant downstairs where you have you rich breakfast. It is true like some were criticising, narrow wooden stairs etc. but the house is old but very well and stylish renovated to modern needs. For me is important I have a peaceful room. The sounds I heard during the busy Friday night were almost nothing, did not wake me up or disturb at all. Very good air condition. Very good bed. I had the roof terrace apartment what fulfilled all my needs perfectly. All the people working there are very friendly and asking to fulfil your needs. Specially the receptionist ”Hara”, made me feel like she was my own private concierge service with her friendliness and willing to assist.. Just a marvellous experience :)

What makes this hotel even better, is the wonderful staff that runs it. They were very welcoming and made us feel at home. I didn’t find anything that I didn’t like.

A boutique hotel with pleasant furnishings. Breakfast rich and varied Due to the historic building, there is no elevator, but that wasn't a problem for us.

Πολύ κοντά στο Σύνταγμα, Μοναστηράκι, Πλάκα, Ακρόπολη . Υπάρχει λίγος θόρυβος από το δρόμο, που όμως δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα ενοχλητικός.

The staff notified us several days ahead of our arrival about a taxi strike. They arranged a ride for us from ferry port to the hotel amid this disruption! Hara arranged this ride as well as one back to the airport after our stay. She also got a dinner reservation for us. The food at the restaurant was amazing . We LoVED our rooftop terrace! We stayed in Uranius on top floor! The remodel was beautifully done! The winding staircase was a little difficult to navigate and the tiny lobby with luggage.

• Yuval (10/5): מיקום מעולה, צוות מדהים וחדרים מפנקים - ישנו 3 לילות במלון המהמם הזה שהמיקום שלו הכי טוב בעיר! צוות המלון מסביר פנים ולאורך כל השהות היו חייכנים ועזרו במהירות בכל דבר הכי קטן שהיה לנו! חגגנו את ירח הדבש שלנו וברגע שהעובדת שמעה על זה ישר דאגה לנו לעוגה בחדר לצד ברכה מרגשת. החדר שקיבלנו היה מעוצב מדהים עם כל מה שנדרש וכלל מקלחון, אמבט, מרפסת קטנה, מכונת נספרסו וכל מה שצריך בחדר. ארוחת הבוקר במסעדה הסמוכה כוללת סלסלת לחמים לזוג, ביצה לבחירה, יוגורט וקינוח פודינג אורז לכל סועד, ארוחה מעולה שנהנינו ממנה מאוד. אין ספק שאנחנו נמליץ על מקום האירוח הזה באתונה כי קיבלנו תמורה מלאה לצרכינו❤️ החיסרון היחיד שאין מתקנים במלון לא קיים חדר כושר, בריכה או לובי ישיבה אנחנו הגענו למלון במרכז העיר כדי לחוות את העיר ולהסתובב בה כל היום אז לנו זה פחות חסר אבל חשוב לציין את זה כמו כן אין מעלית אבל עובדי המלון עזרו לנו במהלך הצק אין והצק אאוט עם המזוודות בשמחה

• Guido43 (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf in centrum - Erg vriendelijk en vrolijk personeel, gratis drankje in bar als welkom, stijlvol boutiquehotel, ruime en schone kamer met balkon ((zonder zitje), sfeervolle verlichting, goede geluidsisolatie (amper geluid van buiten terwijl het hotel midden in het centrum ligt), fantastisch bed en luxe badkamer met bad, aparte douche en goede kwaliteit douchegel, bodylotion etc. Buiten ontbijten aan rustig plantsoen, erg goed reataurant voor diner. Ruim à la carte ontbijt bestaande uit diverse broodsoorten, kaas, ham, jam, nutellla, ei naar keuze, yoghurt met noten/granola/rozijnen, traditioneel dessert. Geen lift maar personeel brengt koffers naar de kamer. Goede verduistering, centrale locatie. Elke dag een fles water op de kamer en koffie/thee. Persoonlijk contact met receptie via whatsapp. Kleine details: - De waterdruk van de douche kan beter. - Geen fruit bij ontbijt. - Moest elke dag zelf vragen om verse jus d'orange. -Geen beleid om handdoeken opnieuw te gebruiken: elke dag werd alles vervangen wat wel heel prettig en luxe is natuurlijk, maar minder milieuvriendelijk. Geef gast de keuze om hsnddoeken wel/niet te laten vervangen

• Demia (10/5): Perfektes Hotel im Herzen von Athen - Einfach alles! Das Team ist unfassbar bemüht: wir hatten einen sehr späten Check in, ganz ohne Probleme. Sie haben Restaurants empfohlen und dann gleich reserviert. Wegen unseres frühen Fluges haben wir das Frühstück verpasst und haben ohne Nachfrage eines to go bekommen. Die Zimmer sind modern und stylisch eingerichtet. Die Lage ist wunderbar, direkt im Zentrum. Das war eines der besten Hotels in denen wir jemals waren!

• karen (9/5): 5 Star Athens Stay - Brand new hotel with high end finishes and attention to detail. What makes this hotel 5 star are its staff. Harra, Dinitri and the team provide excellent care for your every need, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is excellent. The location is excellent. There are only 5 rooms so service is very personable. The restaurant is very good. The rooms are well appointed with high quality amenities. I liked the magnolia scented bath products. Highly recommend.
• RODRIGO (10/5): Fantástico hotel muy nuevo en una localización excelente - Todo fantástico: - La localización es genial, a 5 minutos de la plaza Sintagma, a 5 minutos de Monastiraki. - La habitación era fantástica, amplia, muy bien equipada, muy nueva y con muy buenas camas y sábanas - El trato fue excelente, muy amable y atenta la recepcionista, siempre dispuesta a ayudar - El desayuno fue genial, un montón de cosas ricas.
• Jamie (10/5): - The property was beautiful, so lovely designed, spacious, clean and had every possible facility needed. The breakfast was in their beautiful restaurant and was really delicious. The last day we had to leave really early before breakfast so they brought us breakfast for the road which was so generous. And our luggage got lost at the airport and they were so helpful making sure it got dropped off to us and left it in our room. Felt like a piece of luxury in the heart and centre of Athens. The location was perfect to get everywhere and so convenient and so nicely air conditioned to escape the heat of Athens.
