Guest Reviews
- Melanie (9/5): Great place to stay in Hebden. - Great location, right on the doorstep of the town centre and next to a car park. Bed was really comfy and the facilities were well stocked. No access to outside bins.
- Teresa (10/5): Great stay super clean comfy apartment with all amenities - Location was perfect right in the heart of the village with pubs cafes and restaurants Everything was excellent
- terrence (10/5): - Apartment was great and perfect location
- Masniza (10/5): It was a lovely stay and definitely will choose to stay here again. - It's an ideal location to explore the area, very convenient - access to shops, cafes and restaurants. Host was helpful and quick to reply to messages. Very responsive to our questions and requests.
- Shonagh (7/5): Great location, comfy apartment but awkward bathroom & bedroom if you are tall - Location was great.
Kitchen was well equipped and living room was comfy.
TV was huge! Not being able to leave bags anywhere before 4pm check in - only option was to pay £30 extra which seemed excessive. Having stayed in the property, bags could easily have been left by the door with no inconvenience / obstruction to cleaning.
The bed was too short for my 6ft tall partner.
As the bedroom was in the attic there was very little headroom - manageable because there was space to dress adjacent to the bathroom downstairs.
Accessing the toilet was difficult due to eave/stairwell encroaching into the bathroom. My partner couldn't stand up to use the facilities - I'm only 5 ft 2 and it was awkward for me too.
- Paul (9/5): - Location great Na
- Antony (9/5): -
- James (9/5): -
- Colin (10/5): Loads of great restaurants and pubs just a short walk away - Perfectly situated for the bustling heart of Hebden Bridge but still quiet and peaceful
- Louise (10/5): - Gorgeous apartment, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and really good location.
Check in instructions also clear and helpful. Nothing. Would recommend and will definitely be back.
- Kirsty (9/5): -
- James (8/5): -
- Karen (10/5): Perfect stay - Perfect location. Quiet and comfortable.
- Sheila (9/5): Enjoyed the cosy studio, close to the bars and restaurants and a short walk to the train station and canal. - Central location, cosy studio on ground floor. Comfy bed.
- Jean (6/5): - Location Location
- Tony Wearing (10/5): - Location, cleanliness, roof windows, everything we could need
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Beryl (8/5): Property ideally placed close to local amenities in Hebden Bridge. - The location We had to contact the owner each time we needed the heating put on , instead of it being automatic. Loose wall socket adjacent to main radiator which was potentially dangerous.
- HayleyDawn (8/5): Great Central location to explore Hebden Bridge - The central location was brilliant.
Quirky property over 2 floors with great views of the bustling street.
Communication with the owner was excellent. Late checkout can be accommodated. The property could do with a deep clean. The insides of some kitchen cupboards were a bit dirty.
The back entrance to the apartment was shabby. The entrance gate could do with a bolt to maintain security.
The attic bedroom has very low ceilings if you're tall. Two flights of stairs if you're disabled. Didn't bother us but definitely something to consider.
A great apartment but looking slightly unloved.
- Rory (8/5): -
- Phil (10/5): - Absolutely everything. Couldn't ask for more ,great location to the town, clean ,comfortable and great communication with the host . Unbelievable experience. Five stars 🌟 Nothing .
- Pete (9/5): It was just right for us - Convenient central location, ground floor, well equipped, friendly host
- Steven (9/5): -
- boyle (9/5): Cosy, very handily located, well-equipped and very helpful hosts. -
- Caroline (9/5): Location very good and that was vital to me. - Ideal location The towels were a bit small.
- Joan (8/5): good value for money great location everything was new and clean - central location very clean and light
- Madeline (10/5): Great space and super comfy bed. Great facilities and lovey location for enjoying Hebden Bridge. Also friendly communica - So comfy and spacious and great location
- John (7/5): Served its purpose for our weekend stay as it was a great handy location. Won’t go back to this place on our next visit - Location was excellent. Shower was great. Comfortable bed. The bedroom lets the place down. Ceiling extremely low which meant the furniture on the perimeter of room not really usable & hanging rail inadequate for clothes other than shirts/blouses. Consequently the room felt very cramped. We were there in hot weather & found the attic room far too hot unless we were standing right in front of the fan.
Toilet was in a tiny & very low ceiling area of the bathroom with a sensor light that didn’t work. It was definitely a case of “mind your head”. Beware if you need the loo overnight.
A few too many notices around the place with instructions given as if we were children.
A few of the kitchen cupboards could do with a clean.
No on site parking available so drove around Hebden looking for somewhere to park the car without the constant need to go back & move it or top up payment. Eventually found one at the opposite end of the town which was a bit of a trek with the luggage.
- Julie (8/5): The town of Hebden Bridge is wonderful - charming, arty and lively. - Full kitchen and spacious living room overlooking the town. The bedroom was separated from the living area and bathroom by another flight of stairs.
The bedroom ceiling was very low making it challenging to walk around.
- Nicole (8/5): Very good - Comfortable
- Jill (7/5): GreT - Great location in the middle of Hebden. Couldn’t check in till 4 pm. Had to checkout at 10am. Nowhere to leave cases.
No control over heating.
- Dee (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, very comfy bed, great shower and quiet whilst close to all the action. Easy to adjust heating with quick text to host -who sorted it immediately via remote. Excellent communication from host.
- John (9/5): Had a lovely stay in a lovely location very nice and parking permit was a bonus thanks - Lovely apartment in a brilliant location Bedroom is a bit small on the height but comfortable bed
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, perfect for a short break in Hebden!
- Gaynor (6/5): A Pleasant Stay - The property was in a great location for our needs. Unfortunately the bedroom ceiling was too low. The other disadvantage is that the bathroom is not on the same level as the bedroom. You need to go down a flight of stairs to get to the bathroom. The property is on three levels. Both sets of stairs were quite steep and not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.
- Lynne (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great, property and location
- Ian (9/5): A good weeks stay in Hebden Bridge, with a very friendly owner. - The position and equipment in the apartment were very good. The heating was complicated as had to contact the owner every time to make adjustments, also the coldest part of the apartment was the shower room which never seemed to get warm. The owner put up the heating several times but the way the apartment was laid out meant the shower room stayed cold. These were not major problems as the weather was good but could be a problem in winter. The owner could not have been more helpful.
- Peter (7/5): Apart from above, we had a great stay. - Lack of “conventional cooker”. Only one towel each. Only one tea towel. One toilet roll. No dish cloth for washing up. Noisy workmen next door from 6:40am, Friday- Sunday. Heating times were poor, rectified on last night.
- Maddie (10/5): Fantastic location, cosy flat with everything you need! - Fantastic location for the town centre, a lovely 2 floor flat with so much space - a generous kitchen, dining table and a comfy living room with great views down the street and lovely sun in the mornings. Tall people may struggle with the low attic ceiling in bedroom so be aware of that!
- Rothwell (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (7/5): Good - Location is excellent...
Right in the middle of the town... 👌 Late check-in time of 1600 with surcharge if you wish to arrive earlier....
- Mary (7/5): Good - central convenient location, very responsive host
- David (9/5): Superb - Great location. Nice accommodation
- Matthew (9/5): Very relaxing Christmas Holiday - It was in a great location, only a 2 minute walk to the centre. Was always warm, with cooking equipment provided. A shower which was in a well heated bathroom, with hot water. There were occasions when the wifi signal dropped out and also the signal for the tv was a bit hit and miss - I think that was mainly due to the weather.
- Holly (10/5): We had such a lovely stay and would definitely stay again! Such a lovely apartment in a fabulous location. The christmas -
- Geoff (8/5): Lovely weekend break. Enjoyable with places to explore. - Location exceptional. Everything on your doorstep no need to drive any where. Apartment very warm. Pillows to hard , didn't sleep to good. Should have brought my own.
- Ian (10/5): Great mini break - Great location great facilities super place to stay .In the centre of town a real home from home
- Tracy (10/5): Little Gem - The property is ideally situated central to bars, shops and restaurants only a two minute walk away. The let is spotless and very comfortable with everything you need, The host is very responsive to any queries or to recommend places to visit nearby.
- Amanda (9/5): Very homely and welcoming - Really good location
Everything you need for a short stay
Very clean
Lovely host who was so helpful and welcoming
The Xmas tree was a lovely touch
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): The host, Julie, was extremely friendly and was always there for us at the end of the phone. - We needed overnight accommodation while attending my son's wedding at Hebden Bridge Town hall. The flat was perfectly situated just yards from the entrance and a short walk to the pedestrianised square in central Hebden Bridge. Yet it was located away from the main hustle and bustle which allowed for a quiet night's rest. We liked the open plan nature of the accommodation; it gave us plenty of space to dress and get ready for the wedding and to look after our grandchildren who were bridesmaid and pageboy. Everything was fine for our stay. The hosts have converted the accommodation from a former shop, so one has to expect the limitations that that imposes on the layout; the narrow, odd angled toilet shower room; the sink and cooker & microwave at opposite ends of the main room. However, that was no problem for us.
- Ian (9/5): Very enjoyable. Would use this property again - Position and quality The need to contact the owner each time we needed the heating put on
- Sheree (5/5): Passable - charming cottage, great location. key lock difficult (I broke 2 nails trying to open it). cottage was freezing and despite three messages asking for more heat there was no response. pillows like bricks. combined with the cold a bad night overall.needed a phone number for human contact to get heating turned on. very difficult to know if my request was noted when it went via booking.com
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathy (9/5): Wonderful and amazing! - Firstly Julie was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and her hosting was first class. Really appreciated all the help and communication. The location is perfect for Hebden. Everything you need on the doorstep Liked everything!! Nothing not to like!
- Víctor (10/5): I will repeat - All perfect. Very nice All the good details and the comfort
- Ken (9/5): An enjoyable stay in a comfortable flat with easy access to all amenities in the town. - Nicely appointed flat with some catering facilities, comfy beds, and in a great location. Parking with permit was a bonus.
- Steven (8/5): Fabulous, definitely a great find. - Great location. lovely and clean. Great parking space.
- Rachel (8/5): Very good - Good location. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Tastefully decorated and good use of space. Very little headroom in the bedroom.
- Debbie (9/5): Superb -
- Lynda (9/5): Superb - Back entrance could be more attractive. Old furniture left outside. People with arthritis need to be aware there are two steep flights of stairs. Bathroom and bedroom on separate floors.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice place, comfy bed and great location!
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Excellent location in the middle of the town with excellent transport links. NA
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Location was excellent - right in the heart of Hebden Bridge.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Central, parked right outside, walked to shops and pubs/restaurants/cafes.
easy to access with key code, no waiting to meet up for a key. Lovely open plan, everything you need provided! Just brilliant all round, very comfy bed! Will certainly be returning. Absolutely spot on thank you, oh and I didn't realise there's. An upstairs room too so hopefully will bring adult family next time too.
- Jean (9/5): Superb -
- Clare (9/5): Great location, very central, comfy flat, perfect for a couple of nights stay. -
- Changlong (8/5): A fresh experience. A comfortable stay. Recommend! - comfortable bed, very good location. Clean and full living easy home furnishing. Didn't find the way to raise the TV inside of the bed.
- Tracy (10/5): Perfect flat, perfect location - The studio flat was perfect, with perfect location. The flat was clean, in good repair with great little details. The bed was comfortable, kitchenette workable, it just added to our fabulous stay at Hebden Bridge! You couldn't ask for...well perhaps a longer stay! Thank you Julie Nothing
- Garry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Great location, Ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. Great communication from Julie.
- Neil (7/5): Good - Excellent location
- Sonya (6/5): Overall a pleasant stay. - Location, nice decor, and great shower. Host was very friendly. The bedroom was in a low converted attic and had to walk bent all in the time. That was tiring. Check-in at 4pm is a little late.
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee (9/5): Great weekend, got the weather, holiday apartment did what said on the tin 9/10 parking ticket took - Brekkie N/A, location 10/10, being over 6ft tall the attic bedroom meant a couple bump heads, bit full of character , Got parking ticket, 🎫 despite using parking pass supplied by Julie/host .. who was fantastic & always available… think we may have parked outside zone 🫤🚙
- Tim (9/5): Very clean, tidy and surprisingly big for a studio. - Great location close to main high street / restaurants etc. but quiet. Very clean, tidy and surprisingly big for a studio. Shame I didn’t have the weather to sit outside with a cuppa and watch the world go by but maybe next time. If I'm being picky the bathroom sink is a bit small.
- Mila (10/5): Exceptional - The flat is well equipped, very clean and well looked after. The location is super central and all bars, shops, restaurants are 5 minutes away tops. We had a pleasant stay and will look to book again next time we're in the area.
- Elly (10/5): All the stars - What's not to like? Great location, so quiet even though it's central, thoughtfully appointed, and the most lovely host. Nothing!
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Georgia (5/5): Pleasant, functional but certainly not luxury or romantic - Excellent location.
Lots of kitchen equipment
Easy access with key safe The property is very dated and everything mismatched and old. The bed was pretty uncomfortable with poly cotton duvet cover and non feather pillow and duvet and no pillow choice -only one each and hard. However it was very central and clean so was not a massive problem for a short stay. Bathroom is tiny and we were unable to get our towels dry as the heater was not controlled by us. Log burner available but only one log provided. Felt rather old fashioned and badly decorated. No window you could open at night for air. Felt rather 'basic' no toiletries or soap or any extra touches to make it feel generous. No safe. Conversion of the room was very 'homemade' lots of loose or missing bits of panelling- really does feel like it's been done on the cheap.
- Richard (10/5): Lovely quirky property, would not hesitate to stay there again if opertunity cropped up. - Very close to centre, large spacious apartment, great loft bedroom with Two large dormer windows to stare at the stars before falling asleep No negatives
- David (10/5): Lovley Apartment and Great Location - Great apartment and ideal for Hebden Bridge. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Clean accomodation, comfy bed and good facilities. Vey quiet particularly at night with very little passing traffic, but ony a few minutes walk from the centre, and around a pleasant 15 minute walk to the train station. Free permit parking was supplied right outside the property. We stayed here for 2 nights and would certainly recommend it. Nothing. It was ideal
- Ken (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent for the town.
- Roy (10/5): Stayed in downstairs studio. Ideal for a couple looking for a break in heart of Hebden Bridge. - Loacation , right in centre of Hebden Bridge
- Sadie (10/5): Cute apartment, excellent location, friendly and helpful hosts. -
- Amanda (7/5): Great location. Ok for one night but a bit overpriced - Location for us was perfect. Centre of hebden Key safe. Could not figure out how to open it. Pitch black when we finally got to the property. Really struggled to open key safe. A man helped us in the end.
- Stobart (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely apartment and great location for a hiking holiday without a car - Central location, clean, warm and comfortable - easy access from train station and lovely walk along river to Hardcastle Crags
- Ann (10/5): Brilliant location. Everything was great.local buses and train station - Location was brilliant. Booking.com delayed in sending us the password for the entry. But we contacted owners and they gave it to us.
- Tony (9/5): Lovely location - Location was perfect Soap for the shower
- Cia (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (8/5): Clean, comfortable very well located, - Excellent location very close to town, all very clean and tidy. Host very good communication. Easy to get in with key box. Parking permit meant we could park pretty much outside. Probably my mistake but didn’t think we were booking the apartment with the low ceiling attic bedroom! Not a major issue though.
