- Meliza (8/5): muy agradable todo¡! si lo vale¡! - lo que me complicó fue que al llegar no había nadie que nos guiara al apartamento. al final otro huésped nos dijo como era el ingreso. el jacuzzi del apartamento estaba algo sucio, pero si fueron a limpiarlo. las regaderas les hace falta limpieza porque el agua no sale bien... creo tienen sarro¡! en general todo estuvo muy bien... definitivamente si regresamos ¡!

- Fiona Angelina (10/5): - Die Unterkunft überzeugt auf ganzer Linie: Besonders hervorzuheben ist die private Dachterrasse mit kleinem Pool, die ein echtes Highlight darstellt. Die zwei Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit eigenem Bad, bieten viel Komfort und Privatsphäre. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet, sodass es an nichts fehlt. Auch die Lage ist ideal – das Zentrum ist in etwa 10 Gehminuten bequem erreichbar, gleichzeitig ist die Umgebung angenehm ruhig. Der Self Check-in ist unkompliziert und funktioniert sehr einfach. Zudem ist alles in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Insgesamt eine perfekte Unterkunft für Paare, Freunde oder kleine Familien – wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen und können sie absolut empfehlen.

The bed was comfortable. The whole building was very clean and quiet with lovely views of the garden. The washer and dryer were appreciated as we were travelling light. The pool was just the right size for a cool off dip. Everything was lovely, there was nothing we didn't like.

- barone88 (7/5): Benino, ma mi aspettavo di più. - Posizione buona, quasi centrale, La ragazza che ci ha prestato assistenza e' stata molto gentile. La lavatrice non era funzionante e l' altra che ci e' stata assegnata il giorno seguente non ha lavato bene. Il terzo letto non era comodissimo, era un po' sporco e comunque non era già sistemato per dormirci sopra. Inoltre per quanto e' grande la stanza si potrebbe creare una stanza a parte con un letto anziché divano-letto. Troppe zanzare.

Easy walk to shopping and tourist sites. We didn't expect the rooftop private pool. Only drawback was there wasn't a grill available. But we made things work.

- Anne (10/5): Super Wohnung in zentraler Lage - Super Wohnung mit Rooftop Terrasse, eigenem kleinen Pool, jedes Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Lage zur Stadt super, 10 min gehen zu Restaurants, Supermarkt, Plancha Park. Warmes Wasser, gleichmäßiger Wasserstrahl aus der Dusche. Keine schwitzige Plastikunterlage im Bett. Kombination aus Klimaanlage und Ventilator ist super Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Haben nach 3 Nächten sogar nochmal verlängert. Gute, schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Das einzige, was mir hier einfällt: Uns waren die Kissen zu hoch und zu fest. Aber das ist natürlich sehr subjektiv, deshalb trotzdem 10 Punkte und vielleicht hätte man sogar andere bekommen können.

- Pamela (8/5): Bright and spacious apartment near old town Merida - The apartment was clean and well maintained. It had a different layout from a traditional apartment as the rooms were split between two levels with a full bath and kitchen/living area on one floor and the bedroom on the floor above. The living area and bedroom itself were filled with natural light. The kitchen had all the essentials if you want to prepare meals there although there are so many great restaurants in Merida that I recommend eating out when you can. The bedroom was very spacious and had a full ensuite bathroom which was nice. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the stay, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Because the property is located on a corner, there was some noticeable street noise from passing cars. However, it didn't detract from the overall experience.

The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The hosts communicated well and were there if we needed them. I would definitely stay there again or recommend to friends. - Gatensby (9/5): An elevated stay in a great location - Departamentos Central feels like an elevated stay in a quiet area that is still located within walking distance to great parts of town. We also never felt unsafe walking around the neighborhood nearby. The washing machine was terrible. The washer dryer combo would take up to 7 hours a load and quite often still be full of water after. We'd have to hang clothes all over the place. I'd prefer a washer and a line to hang clothes on.

- Valecoo97 (9/5): Casa moderna ad un tiro di schioppo dal centro - Casa molto moderna e ben curata. Soli 5-10 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Indicazioni per il raggiungimento e l'ingresso in stanza ottime. La strada in cui si trova non è propriamente parte del centro coloniale, ma veramente bastano pochi minuti per arrivare sul corso storico. Mancava un asciugamano, essendo arrivati nel pomeriggio non è stato possibile averlo fino al mattino seguente.
- Sonja (10/5): Luxurious apartment in a beautiful city - Before, during and after our stay the communication with the host was perfect. He took great care and always made sure that we feel at home and comfortable. The apartment itself is just stunning, great loft, impressive rooms and high standard equipment everywhere. We even had a washing machine and a dryer, which worked perfectly for us. The location was great for us, as it is still in the centro historico, but nevertheless not fully in the bustling and crowded centro. We walked everywhere and after exploring the city, we even could relax in the pool which was well maintained and clean. We highly recommend this place! Nothing
- KRIS (10/5): - No contact for getting in the apartment meant arriving stress-free. Not needing to race to meet someone was ideal. The apartment was relatively close to everything and the place was clean with ample room for a family of four. Th only thing I was worried about was the no landing area at the top of the stairs for the 2nd room. When you open the door the stairs were directly in front of your feet, one false move and you're falling. So maybe not great for partiers

It has all the amenities we needed also to cook for ourselves, the filtering system of the water made it easy and sustainable to have supply of water all the way through our stay. It is clean and very nicely done architecturally. The bed is huge like an airport which my partner enjoyed since he is tall. The star down is for the pool which is not maintained and it is a huge shame.

- Génesis (9/5): Buena opción para quedarse en Mérida. - El buen aire acondicionado. Los acabados del departamento. Buenas calidades. Sin duda es un buen sitio si quieres que todo funcione. Cocina equipada. El sofá cama muy bueno. Buena lavadora y secadora. La nevera enfría mucho y eso es muy importante en una ciudad calurosa como Mérida. Lo único, que las camas y almohadas un poco “firmes” de más. Pero se descansa muy bien. Y, no disponen de ascensor. ¡Es lo único!

- Vitaly (9/5): We truly enjoyed our time in Mérida and would consider staying here again on our next visit. - We spent four nights at Departamentos Central by VIATO in the Private Rooftop-Tub two bedroom apartment and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-designed, with everything we needed — the fully equipped kitchen, washer, and dryer were huge bonuses for our family. Morning coffee on the private rooftop was simply unforgettable — peaceful, sunny, and a perfect way to start the day. Everything in the apartment worked as expected, and communication with the host was excellent — fast, clear, and helpful. We had a minor issue with a small water leak, but it was addressed quickly and professionally by the host’s team. The location was also fantastic — within walking distance to the historic center, beautiful parks, great restaurants, and local markets. Quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything. All was great.

- Patrick (8/5): Comfortable, clean, modern apartment in a good location. - The rooms were very comfortable and the location is great. The place is clean and secure. The kitchen and washer and dryer were updated and very functional. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also modern and clean Although it was stated up front that linen service would cost extra, I thought that meant the laundering of sheets and towels by maid service. Instead, it meant that when I checked in there was only one towel in the whole place, and when I asked for more it was then clarified that there'd be an extra charge for more towels and wash clothes. There were not extra garbage bags, either. So I went out and bought my own. This just seemed a bit cheap given the otherwise high quality of the place.

- Krzysztof (9/5): Superb - Great location, nice places nearby, lots of space space, two barthrooms, great facilities in the building, rooftop view, and safety. A little pricey but in retrospect it was very much worth it. We panicked initially that parking would be an issue but we sorted that out: Parque de la Mejorada for free if possible, Don Pepe for a small fee outside of the weekend, and El Patio just next to the building as the last resort. It was a bit complicated to get to the building. In the process of contactless check-in, they ask you to scan and send your ID. Merida might be overrated as a whole, but this place offers good rest from it when you need it!

- Leonora (10/5): Fab,fab,fab! - We absolutely loved everything about the property. It was stylish, comfortable and extremely clean. It was a pleasure staying at Central and it was like a home from home for us. A fantastic stay and if you are travelling to Mérida it is most certainly recommended. We have travelled to Mérida many times and this accommodation is right up there with the best of the best! Thank you to VIATO for such a wonderful experience. Btw, communication was second to none - a delight! Loved it all
