• Sarah (8/5): A nice peaceful and relaxing getaway - The villa was spacious and great outdoor area, the breakfast and pool area always quiet, happy hour drinks good. A quiet part of Canggu, however a short walk to excellent dinner options such as Longtime! Can also walk to coffee, treats at neighbourhood, baked, revolver and fold, hungry bird, Copenhagen. Great nearby spas- the rustic sun and Sindarin were excellent! Can walk down to the beach and sit at Caravan and have snacks and drinks! The late checkout was also amazing and affordable! The pillows were a little hard, the breakfast was quite ordinary, the crossaints hard, the coffee is extra and not the best. It’s a great peaceful getaway not much to fault. Umbrellas around main pool would be fab! I would say the breakfast was the only disappointment

The mattress was too soft. They could not change it to something firmer. Breakfast buffet spread could be better.

Door of my second room upstairs couldn’t be closed properly which made me bit cautious that if any mosquitoes or bugs would enter there in night. That’s the only concern I had though property staff regularly cleaned and sprayed the rooms.

• Sorin (10/5): - Had a fantastic stay at Lalalas Villas. The villa is stylish, spacious, and very well maintained, with a private pool that makes the whole experience feel exclusive and relaxing. The design is modern with a tropical touch, and everything is clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Great location, peaceful, yet still close to restaurants and main attractions. Overall, an excellent choice if you want privacy, comfort, and a premium Bali vibe. Would definitely come back.

Das Personal war durchweg äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets bemüht, auf all unsere Anliegen und Wünsche einzugehen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr gut betreut gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist zwar eher klein gehalten, überzeugt jedoch durch eine hervorragende Qualität. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Insgesamt können wir sagen, dass unser Aufenthalt sehr angenehm war und wir jeden einzelnen Tag in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

• Bianca (9/5): Perfect for relaxing and unwinding and I will most definitely be returning. - The staff at La Lalasa were all so welcoming and helpful, I could not fault their service standards, service was always delivered with genuine warmth, kindness and nothing was too difficult. My villa was stunning and so luxurious, from the quality linen and towels to the lighting and bathroom design everything was well thought out and felt very special. The private pool was stunning and such a beautiful space to relax in. My only negative was there was no sunshine by my private pool, so perfect for those who need shade. I just spent time by the main pool when I wanted some sunshine. The main pool and beautiful gardens were stunning and very well maintained.

Location was amazing, close enough to everything, and the rooms were far enough away from the street where they were quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again next time :) No complaints. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The villa complex had the perfect blend of privacy in our own villa, but more to gain from the common facilities. Our kids loved the pool, spending hours swimming each day. Perfect for a family, or couples who want a bit more privacy. While the villa was very clean and tidy, it is in need of a refurbishment. I did notice that refurbishment had commenced on one of the villas so perhaps that is a sign that all of the villas will eventually receive a makeover.

• Eleftheria (8/5): Beautiful stay - We recently stayed at Lalasa for a combined Birthday and Honeymoon celebration. Overall, it was a lovely experience with a great atmosphere, but there were some operational details that could be polished for a five-star experience. The Highlights: • The Villa: The property is gorgeous. Our villa was private and the "Happy Birthday and Honeymoon" bed decoration was a very sweet, professional touch. • The Spa: We had massages during our stay and absolutely loved them! It was one of the highlights of our visit—highly recommended. • The Staff: Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Points for Improvement: • Menu Transparency: I ordered a fish poke bowl that turned out to be very spicy, though it wasn't marked as such on the menu. When I mentioned it, the staff noted that most of their dishes are spicy. It would be very helpful for future guests if the menu had "chili" icons or if staff asked about spice preferences! • Breakfast Orientation: On our first morning, we weren't told we could order a main dish. We spent 20 minutes with the small buffet before a waiter realized it was our first day. A quick "Welcome to your first breakfast" explanation would go a long way. • Maintenance & Construction: The doors and locks were very heavy and difficult to manage—we joked that you need to be a bodybuilder to lock them! Also, construction noise lasted until 11:30 PM one night. While the reception stopped it once I messaged them, that is quite late for a relaxing villa. Final Verdict: A beautiful spot with fantastic spa services and a very kind team. With a little more attention to guest orientation and some maintenance on the doors, it would be perfect.

• Anu (10/5): Best place in Canggu - Everything was wonderful! We had a cooking class there and learned how to make delicious local Bali dishes. I have been there earlier as well and definitely go back if in Bali. All kinds of restaurants, shops, laundry and massage SPAs are nearby, Also 200m away is the bus stop to take a free shuttle to the Finns Beach Club. Beach is approx 2 km. If you like reformer pilates then Billy Pilates is 5 min away. Lalasa villas has super nice Kecambah restaurant and common pool., where the water is not freezing but perfect.

• Reema (9/5): Our beautiful stay at Lalasa - We loved the staff at Lalasa, they were impeccable to deal with. They were so attentive and honestly the nicest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. We also loved the gorgeous dogs, WiFi & Google 🤍 The beds and pillows were honestly the most comfortable I have ever come across in all my stays! And we loved the little friends who would occasionally pop us a visit, DJ Gecko, King Crab and Senior Frog haha Our least favourite thing about staying at Lalasa was probably the breakfast. We ate out for breakfast most days. We found the options and variety to be very small. Another small thing that I found unusual, was we didn't have an internal shower down stairs, only upstairs. We were there during the torrential rain, so couldn't shower outside. We were mainly staying downstairs but had to go upstairs to shower. Very minor, but I did find it a little unusual. Other than that, there wasn't much else not to like.

Our villa was really comfortable and private, but we still had the perks of being in a hotel type setting with great service at our fingertips, daily housekeeping and an onsite restaurant. It was in a great location too, the street itself was nice and quiet but you’re only around the corner from shops, cafes and bars or a fun little scooter ride into the batu bolong area. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! The living/dining area isn’t air conditioned so you had to be in your bedroom if you wanted to fully escape the heat and mosquitoes, but the open environment straight onto the pool is beautiful and feels luxurious.

• Metta (9/5): Would definitely go again - The place exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, cozy, romantic and beautiful. After a little adjustment, the partially outdoor bathroom in particular was a positive thing because of its difference. The two washbasins in the bathroom were also a nice plus. It was also wonderful to relax in the bathtub. The swimming pool was a suitable size and it was wonderful to take a dip in it right from the morning. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and you could also put a mosquito curtain around the bed if needed. The shower had good pressure and in addition to the rain shower, there was also a hand shower and tap, which made washing much easier. The service at the reception and restaurant was excellent and, as is typical of Balinese culture, very friendly. We did not use the spa services this time. All the common areas of the villa, the restaurant, the pool area, etc. were clean, lush and beautiful. All the villas seemed to be full, but the area was very quiet all the time, so you had your privacy. The restaurant services seemed to be used sadly little, except for breakfast. Breakfast is partly buffet style and you can choose your main course from a menu. The buffet is limited: breads, something sweet, fruit, changing vegetables, juice, coffee. However, it works perfectly together with the main course, which alone would make a tasty breakfast. We only had dinner and lunch at the restaurant once, so I don't have much experience with the food. Both were okay and work well if you don't feel like going out into the city, but the price-quality ratio is not the best. The cocktails were also drinkable, but you can get better ones in town. There are many services right next to the accommodation: minimarket, gym, café, restaurant, spa, but you can also walk to a livelier area in a few minutes. Of course, Canggu, like many other tourist destinations in Bali, is not a particularly walk-friendly place, but short distances can be covered on foot. The air conditioning in our villa was quite noisy, so earplugs were essential for a good night's sleep. In the evenings and especially on weekends, there is also a short fireworks display from the beach, which did not bother us. However, the villa is very soundproofed, so when the doors are closed, you can hardly hear any noise from the outside, except rain and storms. The villa's outdoor area would have needed some chairs so that it would have been easier to hang out. The planking was a bit old, and I didn't feel like sitting on it. The sunbed was also a bit impractical for sitting. Actually, the only place where it was nice to be outside was in the pool. Fortunately, there was always room in the shared pool area, and it was a more comfortable place to hang out and sunbathe. The room could also have had hooks or a coat rack where you could easily hang things without having to put them in the closet. There could also have been more drying space for towels and swimwear - there can never be too much of it :) Be aware that there are small lizards and crabs living in the shower rooms. Spiders and other small insects may also visit, but there were hardly any mosquitoes thanks to the daily poisoning. I personally hate all kinds of insects, but I still managed well :) If you need privacy to use the bathroom, it's worth checking if they have a more private villa available. In our villa, there was glass and a door between the bedroom and the bathroom/toilet, but you can only close them with a partial curtain. This wasn't a problem for us though.

• Joanne (10/5): Absolutely amazing sanctuary - we were so pleased and relaxed! - Absolutely wonderful staff that make the place amazing. Mid-stay, we upgraded at no cost from a one bedroom to a villa. We loved every minute of it. The breakfast choices were fantastic. The new Japanese restaurant out the front was high class. I feel so safe and secure here. The only way to enter the resort was through a glass reception area which is manned 24/7. Anything we wanted, we obtained via WhatsApp and it was in my room. We will now return later this year with our kids, planning to book to villas that can be joined through a wooden gate between the two. The pools are divine and so private. The original room we had did occasionally have spotty wifi. But nothing else at all.

The view to the beautiful pool and picturesque garden was breathtaking. I loved having our 1 hour massages for 2 days. 😊 Coffee size was too small, some breakfast food sizes quite small. We stayed in an open plan bathroom which was no privacy. My best friend and I should have stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. The aircon was not working consistently everyday as it would turn off. Otherwise, everything else was amazing! 😊

• Pascal (10/5): Highly recommended! - We had an amazing stay at Lalasa Villas! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the excellent service, the friendliness of the staff, and the luxurious villa facilities. The location is fantastic – only a 5-minute walk to the beach, with many restaurants and shops nearby, yet the villa itself is quiet and private. The shared pool is perfect for relaxing with cocktails, and in the evening we enjoyed a great massage. Breakfast was either buffet or à la carte, and the barista coffee (for a small extra fee) was outstanding. Overall highlights: luxury, location, great value for money, and exceptional service. One small suggestion would be to expand the vegetarian options, perhaps with more tofu dishes. Important to mention: in September 2025 there was a construction site next to our villa, which caused some noise, but it didn’t prevent us from having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

One bedroom is downstairs and the other upstairs. It is beautifully laid out with a good sized private pool. The pillows are very large and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are very nice but being open air they do allow mosquitos into the bedrooms. I bought mosquito spray and sprayed our bedrooms every night. The downstairs room does have a mosquito net. It would be good to have a nets in the upstairs room as well.

Great convenient location, and the restaurant is also lovely as is the public pool and gardens. Such a relaxing place to unwind in! Only possible areas of improvement could be extending the restaurant/room service hours to later in the evening and a communal water filter for guests to fill up bottles but these are just suggestions really!
