• Jessica (10/5): Sokkool made my Bali trip! - Staying at Sokkool MADE my trip! It’s more than just a place to stay/ work from. Sokkool go out of their way to include everyone, plan trips, lunches, members meals etc. so there’s always something to do and the opportunity to meet people. I do not think my trip to Bali would’ve been what it was (AMAZING) if I didn’t stay at Sokkool. The room is gorgeous, regularly cleaned, great work space facilities and the nicest cafe attached. 7 minute walk from the local beach as well! A big shoutout to Dave and Haren who coordinated such great activities and allowed me to feel included! If you’re looking for somewhere to be able to have the option to network, have guidance on what there is to do but also have your own space and time to work then Sokkool is the place for you! I will be back 🌸

• Romana P (9/5): Lovely Community - I spent one week at Sokkool at the very beginning of my long stay in Bali, and it was the perfect place to start my journey. The lovely community made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the staff were extremely kind and supportive throughout my stay. Having a nice café and coworking space in one place made it very easy to settle in and feel at home right away. I’m very grateful for this experience.

Als ich da war, gab es viele Reisende aus Spanien, Frankreich, Schweden, Deutschland, Indien, USA, um ein paar zu nennen. Also bunt gemischt! Der Altersdurchschnitt war so knapp über 30, würde ich sagen. Am besten hat mir gefallen, dass jeder offen dafür war, sich kurz zu unterhalten. Man hat sich nie allein gefühlt. Canggu ist laut, viele Partys in der Nähe.

• Astghik (10/5): - I spend 3 wonderful weeks in Sokkool and can definitely recommend if you're looking for accomodation, cafe, coworking, and community in one place. The location is great, a large supermarket right around the corner and plenty of restaurants, the staff were extremely kind and supportive. The rooms were neat and clean, a bit small, but it didn’t bother me because the space is used very efficiently. The beds have built-in drawers that give plenty of storage for clothes, so it never felt like a lack of space. Overall great experience, would definitely come back.

• Steven (10/5): Great cowork coliving setup with a great group of people - I loved my little room. Perfect setup for a solo digital nomad. It's small but cozy and has everything you would want for a short or long term stay. More importantly I love the community. SoKKool brings together a diverse mix of digital nomads that work hard but also get out and have fun. Probably the best setup for me in Canggu and I will definitely be back! Only wish I could've stayed longer

• Teddi Confetti (10/5): Overall was a 10 out of 10 stay. Only wished I could have stayed for longer! - Would 10 out of 10 recommend Sokkool. Rooms were newly built and had lots of storage space. Shower was hot and the room was cleaned every 2 days. Can't say enough about how wonderful the staff were. Check in was smooth and helpful. Nadi and Wayan kept the rooms nice and clean and were lovely and friendly. Haren was an exceptional host and organised so many great events. He knows where all the yummy restaurants are and all the best sunset drink spots as well as he organised a road trip and ferry over to the island of Java where we visited the blue fire volcano. It was truly a highlight of the whole trip. Cafe downstairs made great coffee and juices and yummy food. All the people staying there were super interesting and friendly and chill and fun to talk to. Location was great, WIFI was fast and reliable, pool was nice, gym, well appointed kitchen, rooftop hang out area, honestly was a 10 out of 10 stay. Only wished I could have stayed for longer!
• Igor (10/5): - Honestly, it was above my expectations. I thought the room would be too small, but it proved to be great even for a longer stay. Some smart design around storage and bathroom, good spacious bed, great staff (so positive and lovely), the coworking is comfortable and well design with outdoor and indoor area. Even the location is good - I loved the Pho next door and that we had a shop nearby. If I had to be picky, there's a construction going on next door. You cannot hear it that much though.

• Joeyfen (10/5): Surely the best coliving in Bali - Sokkool is amazing! I have stayed in Colivings in Canggu before but it was usually still a bit difficult to meet people. At Sokkool, that's not the case at all. Multiple teams per week, there are shared dinners, lunches & stuff like that organized. The community itself is also really active, so I basically had social activities every single day. Didn't feel lonely at all. It's great that the coworking space has a lot of facilities like meeting rooms, standing desks, airconditioning, phone booths and a podcast studio. Pretty rare to find all of this in Bali in one place. The rooms are small but really wel designed and with lots of storage so didn't bother me at all. Kitchen on the rooftop is very spacious and loved using that. Haren & all the other staff are absolutely amazing. I felt very at home because all of them and will be back for sure. It's a very new building but didn't really feel brand new. Some things had a bit of a rough finishing and there were some issues like with the rooftop for example (which should be fixed now). But definitely didn't encounter any huge issues and Sokkool is a 10/10 for me. Biggest 'issue' for me would be the location, but that's not their fault. It's very very central so that's great, close to the beach too. And lots of amazing food places like Copenhagen & Nüde are super close. It's just that for me, the area is a bit too busy. There was loud music from restaurants/clubs on some nights & it's not necessarily a pretty location. I personally prefer Pererenan over Berawa. Definitely think that that's just personal preference, if you're looking for a more touristic area, this is perfect Something else that bothered me was that some people were working in their rooms during the night and would drag their chairs over the floor. Woke me up many things during my stay. Would be amazing if they could add something underneath the chairs to limit the noise :)
• Mikala (8/5): Sokkool is the perfect place for digital nomads. - Sokkool is the perfect place for solo travelers looking to meet other digital nomads. The staff work hard to make sure you have a nice stay and organize multiple events each week to facilitate making connections. When I was sick with Bali belly, staff even brought me some coconut water and a sports drink. The rooms are cozy and well equipped with a desk and TV. I really liked the coworking space, which included plenty of desks in an open air area as well as a room with AC. They had external monitors and really comfortable desk chairs. The pool and rooftop were nice too. The building is newer yet seemed to have some issues. The roof was shut down for a lot of my stay because there was some kind of leaking issues, but I think that will probably be fixed soon, if not already. My room had somewhat of a mildew-y smell too but maybe that was related to the roof issues.

• Seiko (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is amazing—kind, friendly, and communicative, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are compact but very functional and cleaned almost every day. I love the color scheme here. The poolside coworking space is open and spacious, with different rooms and desks that help with creative work. There are many great restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and a supermarket is also very close. It’s just a 10 minute walk to the beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset every day.

• Yuting (7/5): Good - The facilities were nice and people working here were super friendly. Great for coworking and living and they clean your room every other day. There was construction going on still so was a bit noisy but will be okay once that’s done.

There are great cafes nearby, and markets are also close by. The room looked small at first, but it was very compact and surprisingly well-equipped; there’s an extra storage area behind the door that I hadn’t noticed in the photos, which eased my concern about having a place to hang my belongings. Plus, there’s a charming rooftop perfect for watching the sunset and sunrise! Additionally, gatherings are organized for guests staying there, and updates are shared through a WhatsApp group. They also assist with laundry. In short, it was a truly enjoyable stay for me. Thank you so much for everything, Sokkool team!
