The property and suites are gorgeous. This is a small, boutique lodge, with very personalized service from the owners. The food, particularly, the dinners, was outstanding, by far the best food in Drake Bay!

Kyong-ae (10/5): Don’t hesitate to book this place - The place is gorgeous with stunning jungle views and beautiful facilities. It was so comfortable with daily cleaning and laundry service, and delicious meals. And the hosts, Joe and Sue, are so warm and kind, going that extra mile to take care of you. Sue takes care of communication, responding promptly to messages, and Joe looks after you at meals with great congeniality. I celebrated my 65th birthday here, and it was a lovely experience. There were 4 of us in the Ocean suite and it was plenty spacious for all of us, especially with the great deck, rocking deck chairs and hammocks, and private infinity pool. I know a couple of reviews have commented on the lack of air conditioner in the living room area where the king bed is (although there is one in the closed bedroom), but we didn’t find that a problem at all, at least in early Dec. We left the deck doors wide open during the day and left open the screened windows at night with the ceiling fan on low. Another feature we liked was the location. It’s accessible by car (rather than having to take a boat) and within walking distance of the town, making it convenient for any day trips/tours. I would have preferred cotton sheets instead of microfibre polyester, but the beds are very comfortable.

Every detail—from the garden and pool to the design, cuisine, and even the toilet paper presentation—was meticulously thought out. If you're seeking a luxurious retreat in the heart of the jungle near Corcovado, this place is a rare gem. The hosts were some of the kindest and most attentive we’ve ever encountered. Their warmth made us feel like part of the family, and their genuine care and commitment to exceptional hospitality truly stood out. It's very rare for us to feel a sense of sadness after just three days in a place—but this stay was truly unforgettable.. An AC in the main room would have make it perfect

Stefan (10/5): Beautifully designed and executed apartment with a breathtaking view and perfect service - Everything was lovely - from the ocean-facing outside shower to the stiffness of the mattress. Breakfast and dinner were cosy, tasty meals prepared in the open kitchen. The apartment was cleaned to perfection every day and the owners were very friendly and helpful with any request. Waking up to the gorgeous view from the large windows and having a morning coffee with my feet in the private pool while looking at the forest and ocean, with toucans and parrots flying around, will remain a moment I will cherish forever.
