Guest Reviews
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location! Really close to the beach and taco spots! The room is perfect for a couple nice size and everything we needed for our trip. The common area is perfect for sharing recommendations and its great you have a shared kitchen so you can chat with other guests.
- Heise (4/5): Disappointing - The location was excellent. In terms of cleanliness, it was acceptable, except the toilet, which was dirty upon arrival. First of all, the toilet, which was dirty upon arrival. Then the AC didn't work at all except the first night. The fridge didn't work properly and it was dirty. Also, one day, there was no water, which was surprising, because I stayed during the low season.
- Claudia (2/5): I would not recommend this place. Not worth the money. I would rather stay in the hostel. - Location is good. Very close to the main part of PE First of all - in the booking we were not informed about lack of warm/hot water. Pressure in the shower was shocking. Kitchen very dirty and had bugs all over. There was never staff available when needed. Took time to respond to the texts. We had to text them almost everyday.
- Toby (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Beautiful room and outside area.
Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped.
Good location
Little book library which was nice Only Self-check-in and no reception - I feel a reception and in-person check-in make a place more welcoming.
- Jade (1/5): Would not recommend - Location is good, less than 5 mins from everything. loads of options around I know you get what you pay for and we expected basic but this takes it to the next level
The communal areas were filthy, always things left in the kitchen / in the sink and all around the sitting areas never clean
The hosts did their own socialising in the communal areas leaving everywhere a mess which makes it so un inviting then left it filthy all morning which is horrible to wake up to.
We were without water a lot - we never had water to the sink so we had to wash our hands and shower by filling up water bottles!! The owners also didn’t seem to care
There was no sound proofing of the rooms so was so noisy all night / morning
The hosts are on site but could not care atall about anything and had a complete lack of respect about their own living space. The rooms were not cleaned no offer to change towels and bedding during our stay - serious lack of care
Look elsewhere.
- Felipe (10/5): Great place to sleep, clean and equiped. - Its a clean minimal room, great AC, with good location close to the beach and restaurants in a very quiet street. Could hear the other rooms, shower has only cold water, theres a dog that barks when you enter but is friendly after you pet him.
- Anna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, people, price and value for money. The kitchen is well appointed.
If you want a big party spot it is not the place. It is quiet safe and comfortable.
That fit my needs well and has a family vibe
The La Punta area is sweet. Near a nice section of Zicatela beach and a row with shops, cafes and restaurants. I recommend it and hope to return soon. Not much. They are a new hostal so are still working out the early growth aspects but it seems like it will evolve nicely.
- George (9/5): Superb - Good AC, clean, chill, nice vibe, spacious dorm Toilets, one didn’t work
- Konstantina (10/5): Exceptional - Very well located ,clean room and the manager always ready to help you with everything you need. Highly recommend it
- Sam (9/5): Good, calm little hostel - Great little hostel, nice people, cosy vibe. Laid-back, basic but everything I needed :)
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Casa Niita is an amazing place for people who like it clean and calm :). Everything is tidy and beautiful :). I stayed in a mixed dorm with Aircon and I could use the kitchen as well (which is well equipped for cooking). The staff is very friendly as well as the volunteers :). I can highly recommend it and thanks for the stay :).
