• Newby (10/5): - We LOVED the host family. The food that the host cooked was THE best we had in all of Sri Lanka. We LOVED the farm. The host took time to show us all the incredible abundance he was growing. It was a truly magical experience There wasn't much of a blanket or sheet.

• 怡彗 (8/5): We recommend you to live here and have conversation with papa. - The home papa is really good. He shows us his garden and take care of us kindly. They also can arrange the good plan and good price for you. The room is not modern but is ok for us.
• Linda (8/5): - Skvělé tiché místo, příjemný majitelé, krásná zahrada. Doporučuji si pořídit skútr, půjčil nám přímo majitel, vše je odsud daleko. Byla jsem zde s dítětem, jsme schopni jezdit na skůtru, takže jsme si všude dojeli, ale jinak je to vše dost z ruky.

• Christopher (8/5): - Nette Familie die ein kleines Homestay im nirgendwo betreibt. Wer es etwas abseits mag ist hier genau richtig. Das Bungalow war schön und modern mit schönem Blick in den Garten. Man konnte über das Homestay eine Safari buchen. Die Ausstattung im Bungalow war nicht gut. Es gab keine Ablage und Föhn und Wasserkocher haben gefehlt. Sollte bei dem Preis vorhanden sein. Das Frühstück war leider etwas enttäuschend im Vergleich zu dem was ich bisher in Sri Lanka hatte. Toast war verbrannt und es war alles sehr fettig. Insgesamt etwas lieblos.

• Andrea (8/5): - The accommodation was very nice and seems relatively new. One of the best features is the large garden surrounding the property (fresh fruit and vegetables). The owners are excellent cooks, so we really enjoyed the food. They even organized a cooking class for us right at the villa, which was a great experience. The only downside is the location — it’s quite far from the center. Once the main illuminated road ends, there’s still about a 1 km walk along a narrow, dark path leading to the villa.

We enjoyed a cooking experience making curry and rice which tasted amazing! The hosts went above and beyond with all our requests and we can’t thank them enough. Great experience overall!

We asked for an extra ventilator because the smaller hanging one wasn’t enough in our opinion. Within 5 minutes, the owner’s wife was at the door with an extra fan. Especially liked the garden tour before we had to leave, lots of free fruits! Great brekkie too! The barking dogs were a bit annoying since you can never tell whether they’re good dogs or not.
• Rodney (10/5): My best stay in Sri Lanka. - The host was absolutely brilliant. His pancakes were the best I've ever tasted. We had dinner with him, which he cooked from veggies from his garden. He is such a great cook. He was ready to do anything for us. He's got a big garden full of fruit, vegetables and herbs and he's so happy to take you on a tour around his garden. When you wake up, you see so many birds in the garden. The accommodation with breakfast was so cheap. The place is just 5 yrs old. I'd recommend it to anyone. Everything was fine.

• Group (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay at Sigiriya Chena Villa. The room was nice and comfortable. We had dinner both nights, as well as breakfast, we thought we would go out the second night but the food was so good we decided to eat there again on the second night. They grow their own vegetables so it makes it even more special. The family is lovely, the garden is amazing - we felt really good!

• Enkvist (9/5): Peaceful little homestay - A very peaceful beautiful place to stay close to sigirya center. Small homestay with a lovely garden. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home here. One of the evenings of our stay we got to pick vegetables from the garden and cook on the fire together. It was amazing to eat such fresh delicious food straight from the farm! Sigirya town is a, walkable distance but there are also restaurants and shops even closer by. We recommend staying here for a calm and homely feeling. The room had a bit of a damp smell, seems to be an issue in many places in Sigirya because of the wet climate. Once we aired out the room properly it was okay though.
• Raphael (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully set surrounded by nature in the owners own garden, where he grows a lot of fruits and vegetables. Big comfortable rooms and beds. The Highlight is definitely the owners. Super nice people that are more than happy to help with anything you might need during your stay. It’s a little bit off the main road and not too easy to get to but the owner always offers to drive you in his tuk tuk so that’s just a very small negative point.
• Anne (9/5): Authentic home stay with super tasty food - The host was super friendly and the home made food was delicious. He prepared wonderful curry with vegetables from his garden. One evening I was invited to watch him cooking. Super nice experience. It is not very close to the “center”. For me it was totally fine to walk.
• Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Family-run house with a fairytale garden, wonderful fruit trees and vegetables in the middle of wonderful nature. Comfortable bed, hot water, functional with a cozy veranda, I felt very comfortable. A highlight were the fireflies at night. The bird watching in the morning was also very nice. It was great that tours to the elephant photo safari and Dambulla were organized for me upon request, and a tuktuk was always available, as Villa Chena is a bit far from the center. I would be happy to come again on my next stay in Sri Lanka.
• Sampath (10/5): Exceptional - It is a very comfortable new place around the nature. Bed is super comfortable. Owner cultivate lot of plants and he show us to their land. Really nice place in sigiriya.
